Alexis Sanchez United player

Fun notice; The number 7 shirt has recently gone to players whose name has 7 letters; Cantona, Beckham, Ronaldo, Memphis, Di Maria, Sanchez.

(Yes I know Valencia wore it for a little while)

The article is spot on. If you watch Sanchez, has this phenomenal will to win. This chip on his shoulder, which I can see some of it in Lukaku too.
Lingard, Rashford and Martial need to build up that killer desire, a Keano attitude and fortunately, they are still young and some of Alexis' attitude will rub off on them.

Rashford and Martial have that same desire, it just manifests in different ways. Martial builds up pressure inside and then quietly explodes, Rashford vents his frustration and it's perceived as being a prima dona. The truth is that he's disappointed in his own decisions.

And Owen.

I wonder. Cant he plays as the 10 in a 4-2-3-1?

To be honest I think (and hope) that is what we do, with Martial on the left and Jesse on the right. We could have all 3 interchanging behind Lukaku anyway, but I'm just so fecking excited about our options now. Woke up this morning and still can't believe we have signed Alexis fecking Sanchez :D:devil:

@Red Indian Chief Torn Rubber

What's your thoughts on this Chief
Im as happy about this as when we stole RVP from City. Dude is exactly what we lack even though we are paying a premium. A multifacted attacker at his peak, with zero adaptation time needed
We can play wide left, right or in the hole and IMO he'd still be top draw. The task now should be getting him Pogba, Martial and Lukaku on the same wave length.

He wears Alexis on his shirt, which has 6.

Same here. Im glad the EPL giants refused City getting Van Dijk and Alexis sans a fight. This is the icing on the cake:D

We forget how young they are which is why I can excuse them for running down blind alleys for now.

United is now pretty solid defensive unit if not special, on paper attacking wise is up there but midfield still can be improved as well the fullbacks. Tony is a tank, but can't play every game. Shaw is improving, but based on the signing of Sanchez, an experienced full backs will be very much welcomed. Alex Sandro is pretty good option.

Can't wait for the next game. Still can't believe United sign a player in January, let alone someone like Sanchez :D

United clearly tries their best off the ball, but for example against Chelsea there were huge gaps between the units which -at some point Chelsea used to make it count.

With Bailly and Shaw at their best, maybe we're solid, hopefully it happens when the big boys come calling in Europe.

If Lingard can hold on to his form, United's attacking unit is very good.

Sanchez is exactly what the club needed, finally we got a creative winger. In the next transfer window we hopefully bring in another one, but so far so good.

Sanchez (on No.7 shirt): “It was a massive City financial offer but everytime I asked who’d worn the famous blue No.7 shirt, Guardiola just kept pointing out of the window and would say “Whoooaaa, did you see that?” Six times and nothing ever there. I prefer Jose answer.”

Sanchez: “Later that evening I would have to google the Spencer Prior. I laughed so hard I had Kenco coming out of the how-do-you-say nostrils?”

The annoucement video for Sanchez was social media done well. Superb.

Coutinho announcement to Barca only got 84K retweets. We'll got almost double that with Sanchez. Amazing.

Any idea when we'll get the first training pictures? the lads are due back today right?

You're American, we get it!

DT is a douche twat supporting Arsenal, making fame from Arsenal Fan TV. @Slops you really made it? Seen tons of accounts tweeting it today.

Yep. Quite clearly it belongs to the internet now.

I like to think DT himself has seen it by now.

 not.

I'm still not convinced regarding Mourinho's tactics because I do think we need to be more expansive to win the league and we can be now with the forwards we have. Nonetheless, it would be fantastic if one of our next signings is Sergei Milinkovic-Savic. A midfield trio of him, Pogba and Matic can even dominate City I believe.
Do we have a Savic thread? Looked just now and could not find one. I see reports that City want to hijack our bid for him in the summer, etc, looks a fabulous prospect alright and might be the last bit of the Jigsaw. Or are we meant to keep quiet about this?

Great bit of business. He will supplement our attackers in terms of experience and leadership esp as Ibra is not playing and is likely to depart at the end of the season

What are these journos smoking?

Well, there is truth in the Keown bit of the story. It's very clear cut. Very pointed referring to Henry, too. In that post Sanchez laid bare his motivation, his reasons, his side of the story. And it is not just about money, clearly.

Seriously, that's hell of an intro video. Watched it million times already and still gives me goosebumps! Can't wait to see him in action!
