Should have been sent ahead of Lingard for at least 15 minute.

I don't really think he has that. It's just that his technique is a class above that he can make very sharp turns.Has that burst of pace over the first 10 yards that makes me think he'll be a top player.
The close control and agility means he can lose players, bit like Iniesta.I don't really think he has that. It's just that his technique is a class above that he can make very sharp turns.
Yep. Only thing I want him to improve on is his composure while under pressure. He's very good at playing the right pass, and keeping the ball when a defenders rides his back, but he can rush things when in a crowded area. This is something Pogba is really good at. Hopefully he can learn that from him.The close control and agility means he can lose players, bit like Iniesta.
Very different from Sterling. Sterling is more like Sancho. Gomes is more like an Iniesta type who can give the through ball, play in midfield, has extremely great technique, and quick feet. Also can play too safely due to not forcing anything. Sterling utilizes his pace more, and though he does have good technique, it's not on the level of Gomes'. Sterling is more aggressive and attacking while Gomes is more of a midfielder than an attacker if that makes sense. Still an attacker, but plays way more patient.Reminded me a bit of Sterling.
He's world class lads
He is pretty quick off the mark and he's pretty fast with the ball at his feet.I don't really think he has that. It's just that his technique is a class above that he can make very sharp turns.
I was most impressed with the confidence. Sanchez took some hits playing the same position tonight but Gomes went straight for the kill as soon as he came on.Yep. Might depend on who we get in the draw.Would love to see him get a decent opportunity in the next round, he looks a proper talent
the next JesseDribbles like Messi.
On my commentary they actually said it's "Angel" - like proper English Angel and not a foreign pronunciation even though his dad is from Portugal.Could someone confirm whether it is Angel or Angle?
