Terrible pitch
Terrible tackles

Professional performance from most of the lads. 1 or 2 probably wont be here next year but a good performance.

Good debut from Sanchez and Gomez has the potential to be a special player for us.

On that pitch this was a great performance and result. 4-0 flattered us a bit 3-1 would have been more reflective of the game as a contest but into the 5th round!
I'm not sure where you got that from.
4-0 was a true reflection of the scoreline.

Credit to Yeovill they battled hard, but inevitably they fell apart after the sketchy goal. I thought the ref was negligent letting them be overly physical, but we got the job done!

Gomes Gomes Gomes!

Even had himself a chance too! Nothing really to discuss here. All pretty obvious. Sluggish 1st half, turned it on in the second, Yeovil not very good, cruise control.....

Good stuff bring on Wednesday.

Would have liked to have seen more of Gomes. He did more in those 5 minutes than Mata did all game. Mata didn't really do much wrong, but Gomes came on and immediately went at them. Good to see.

Pitch was awful. Looking forward to seing Sanchez play where the ball doesn't bobble all over the place when he runs with it. He was practically juggling it when he played Herrera in.
Did you see our second goal?!

Become a fashion to say "X player only signed for the money" or "scoreline flatters us" or "we just hoofed it" and claim one is being realistic when none of that is particularly true. The past 3 years have thrown up a lot of fans feeding on pessimism.

Not much to conclude from this game against scrappy league 2 competition.

Carrick really is just a class player. The calmness and control he brings to a game like this - it's amazing.

Nice win. Excellent debut for Sanchez, so glad all that energy is going to be for us - should compliment well with the team. Now on to Wednesday, be interesting to see who misses out, guessing it will be Mata.

Happy 55th bday Jose and 100th United game (62 wins, 23 draws, 15 loses).
Glad Gomes got to play today. I wish he got more time at 2-0.
Sanchez was really good and I can't wait to see him vs Spurs.
Happy Messe and Rom keep scoring!
Easy 4-0 win! GGMU!

Enjoyed that!

Sanchez could be a very big player for us, Lingard still impressing....Gomes could be interesting!!

And as a side note, Yeovil would look less out of their depth in Premier League than tonight’s Ref.....he was abysmal

Fantastic result and a very good 2nd half on a dreadful pitch. Sanchez MOTM for being the difference when it mattered.
Remember about a month ago, people wanted Jose out! One of the best managers in the World and I am looking forward to the trophies he will bring to our club.

Scrappy 1st half, much better 2nd, my only complaint I would have liked Gomes to have gotten a few more minutes

Job done. Now we can enjoy the rest of the games this weekend:D

Now seriously, professional performance. Always tricky with these little teams. Want to win the FA Cup again so very happy we're into the next round.

Sanchez looked classy I must say, even if he lost the ball a couple of times. Happy for all goalscorers.

Keown is shite.

Calm your tits. My post wasn't pessimistic in the slightest.

He just got the ball and went onto a fantastic dribble. I really liked that. His talent is obvious.
:)

Wonder long term if he progresses where he will play. Can't have him and Martial competing unless Martial becomes more central in his position. Would be a massive waste to have to sacrifice one for the other. Maybe Gomez will evolve more central instead. Who knows both so talented. Good times!!

Professional job and through to the next round we go.

Alexis showed what he's all about, he loses the ball sometimes but he's involved in absolutely everything. The players couldn't wait to get the ball to him and he couldn't wait to get it. Massive signing for us.

Agree. The left is already crowded for us so I hope he develops to become a striker.

Still have to play Tottenham on the 31st and keep a clean sheet for that

Terrible pitch, but other than that one lovely evening. We're absolutely deadly on the counter, even more with Sanchez. But, he also shown glimpses of that extra quality we all hoped that he'll bring when we need to break teams down.
It will be interesting to see which position he will occupy from now on.

Bring on Spurs.

Tough game on a typical lower league pitch. Sanchez stuck out like dogs balls. Can't wait to see him mix it with a full A team squad. Also great to see Carrick back; oozes composure.

Forgetful first half. The gulf in class showed in the second half. Sanchez and Mata looked a class above the rest.

That'll be tough for us.
We are going up against a player, who in my opinion, is the best striker on the planet.
The only chance of winning is to out score them (which won't be easy).

Great game, we played well, especially in the 2nd half. Alexis will be a powerhouse for us.

McTominay - This boy going places, he will definitely become a Man Utd legend. You read it here first.

I think we can come away with a 1-0/2-0 win if we defend properly. They need the points far more than we do and they will look desperate imo.

We are going to be a real force with Sanchez and especially when players around him click.

On a sour note, Lindelof gives me the willies.
