We gave up with over half an hour left, not sure I've ever seen a Utd team do that. One of the worst performances I can remember watching.
I have. A bit over a year ago against Chelsea. And then a few months before that against Spurs at WHL. And the a few months before that against Arsenal at the Emirates.

Either way that was pretty awful. Pretty much a carbon copy of the aforementioned Chelsea game down to the early goal that we conceded. I am not sure as to why Martial started on the right and why the only player that could've bring some control was taken but everything completely fell to pieces after the second goal so here we.

That was a walk in the park for Spurs. They played through us with ease and we didn't look like scoring at any point.

One of the most gutless displays you'll witness. De Gea did his job. Sanchez at least tried. The rest were some sort of sick joke. Smalling and Jones awful. Matic horrendous and Lukaku is an absolute donkey.

Huge money needs spent on midfield and defence. Atrocious

Yep.

That's whats angered me the most. We were shit all game, bar about 10 minutes after their first goal, but that last 25 minutes or so was a complete disgrace.

Really poor performance today. Never really got going at all. At least Mourinho looked like he was fuming, rightfully so.

We need to be a lot better than this. Ridiculous defending and thoroughly outclassed today and still looked devoid of any ideas going forwards.

Really hope we still scrape top 4.

Probably our worst performance of the season. Absolutely awful, I’ll struggle to pick a MOTM out of that lot.

I'm sorry but Mourinho is a 100% responsible for this. A bit of Moyes in this one. Completely our of depth and clueless.

Totally outclassed by a much better team, just lucky we didn’t lose by more, it was damage limitation for last half hour.

Tactics were awful, subs were pathetic and none of the players were good enough.

Great performance. Jose should know that just putting all your "world's best attacking talent" into the XI wont win you matches.
This is one match where I am going to say Jose really fecked us up. I had put most of the blame for Liverpool and Huddersfield matches on the players. But I think this one he got completely wrong.

Yes, the players played much worse than anyone could have expected. Yes, both Spurs goals were lucky. But Jose got formation and selection wrong.

Unbalanced.
Lukaku was a mistake
Pogba can't play in a midfield Two
Sanchez needs to play in the 10 position
Martial needs to play on the left.
Ashley shouldn't start again
Smalling and Jones will never be a good partnership get Rojo and Bailly back ASAP.

Still second so basically an unimportant game for us, and I could care less about Spurs because they still wont win anything and they just celebrated like they won the CL.
You can't win big games when your defenders make mistakes within 20-30 seconds of the game.
What I would really like is that a part of our fanbase to feck off and support Pep, City, Pochettino or whoever the feck they really support because reading some of the stuff here is really cringeworthy.

Sometimes we get outplayed by a fired up team at home and we just can’t live with them, it happens.

But that was so bizarrely easy for Spurs I’m quite alarmed. They hardly got out of first gear. There was absolutely nothing positive about that whatsoever.

Only positive is it didn't turn into a cricket score!

We let them just walk through us and gifted them the ball every time we had it.

Worst performance of the season and will be hard to find a worse performance since Jose arrived!

Who to blame? Jose for his tactics? Defenders for their school boy errors? Or when we all stopped giving and trying to do something? Players do give up fecking easy and that what makes me sick really. When you stop trying running caring you simply don't deserve what you are paid and most important you don't deserve what you are wearing ffs.

Are you watching closely?
How the feck are we late for every ball?
How are we losing every physical battle?
Why are we incapable of passing the ball?

One of the most embarrassing (if that word is ever apt it's here) performances I can remember. We didn't even try for most of the game. We mock Arsenal for their lack of mental strength but this team isn't much better.

Only difference between this game and the other similar games vs. top opposition in which we somehow managed to steal a point, is DDG saving our arses over and over again in those games.

We can't stop here. This is bat country.
Doesn’t bode well for the Champions League. Didn’t lay a glove on a side who are a good 3 or 4 levels below who we’ll face in the latter stages of the Champions League (assume we’ll even get past Sevilla).

FA Cup and top 4 would be a positive season given the current level of the team.

Thought Eriksen was great tonight and exactly the sort of player we need. Drops deep into midfield and runs it. Affects the game in the final third.

We didn't lose to Bournemouth 3-0. At home. That's the best thing I can take away from tonight. Imagine the meltdown if that was our result. Not pretty tonight but we'll bounce back.

Depressing. Outfought, outthought and outclassed in every department. Spurs didn't even need to hit top gear to humiliate us.

I’ve said it before, if we concede very early, we panic and forget how to do the basics. Criminal at this level.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time
We need that third midfielder in tough games (all games?). For now either Fellaini or Herrera (probably Fellaini if he can get back to the level he was playing at earlier this season), and then get the right midfielder at the end of the season. Pogba simply doesn't work in a two man midfield against most other top teams.
