Enough of excuses

You can spend all the money you want and buy any players you want.

If you're not coached well as a team, we ain't going far in a long time.

And for the fifth consecutive year, I want the league to end prematurely.

How depressing.

All of this can be traced back to the derby defeat. Compare the Watford and Arsenal performances to this - the difference? We were in a title race.

Well that was abysmal wasn’t it. United third best to everything on the field today. Spurs literally looked like they had 14 men on the field for most of that match.

Man Utd unworthy performance. Wrong tactics starting with Pogba and Matic. Pogba disappointed, no control in midfield at all.

Worst performance since that West Ham game?

We didn't pay a glove on them. Just a soft, lethargic, nothing of a performance.

Abysmal....
Pogba was embarrassing
Matic worse game since he joined, Lukaku clueless

Still, could be worse, we could be Chelsea

Absolutely shambolic. No one can leave the pitch with his head up. Disgraceful performance from everyone. Defense and midfield looked like kids whenever everyone pressed this.

We got humiliated in the second half. Didn't even try to do anything to grab a result. Disgraceful.

Spurs have been great at Wembley this season and the fact that we had one of our worst games in years led to a truly terrible night. Move on.

Not good enough, we need to cop on. Pogba needs to step up in the big matches, quality against Micky mouse teams but underperforms in the big games.

Very poor performance, but in the grand scheme of things I don't think it's that important. People will certainly overreact to it.

We cannot be lining up with a 4231 with Pogba and Matic against strong teams. By default it means we are playing with one midfielder. It will take a while to adjust to Sanchez and vice versa, it will upset the balance in the short-term. Even more of a reason to solidify midfield.

Shambolic performance, lack of guts, effort and belief. Reminiscent of the years preceding Jose’s tenure. Spurs wanted it more and completely bossed the game.

That being said, they are such a dirty side and refs hardly ever deal with it. I sincerely wish that teams will get stuck into them in every game. Proper.

Being a Jose fan, I almost always defend him here. I think it’s obvious that there is no one better for us. But the one man midfield thing needs to stop.

Wrong formation/choice of players/tactics coupled with some really bad individual performances from Smalling, Jones, Young, Matic and Lukaku

Same old shit, all the optimism surrounding the club after the Sanchez signing has vanished after being completely outclassed by that fecking little club in north London (not bitter). Enough of the excuses, we are simply shit when it comes to these big games.

Spurs were much better on the night and most disappointingly we coasted through the second half. Valencia apart nobody really seemed to care about putting in the required effort. It’s not the drama that people will look to make of it though.

Obertans #1 fan.
I feel like we win some games because we have superior players to other lower place teams. I don’t think we have any kind of system which improves the players we have.

Lukaku, Martial and Pogba being the three players who IMO could be SO much better.

Worst performance in recent memory, both individually and collectively.

We just made Spurs look like Barca.

Agreed, I wouldn't say this was down to players playing poorly

Awful.
Were allowed to lose. Not like that. We never even tried. Didnt press them, didnt do anything to even try to win it. Entire srcond half was garbage time.

Cant stand to see our players just staring at Spurs players holding the ball and not doing anything to try and take it.

0 to everybody. there isnt even anyone to praise.
