@Rado_N @Handré1990 I won't hide at all. Delighted with the result obviously. Fair play to the lads. I stand by what I said in the thread, wasn't at all knee jerk on my behalf, been feeling this way for a long long time. Obviously I respect anyone's opinion who goes against mine. I haven't enjoyed watching us for a long long time. I started supporting United for the style of football they played (family full of Liverpool fans) and it's been a while since they've entertained me on a consistent basis. I should have mentioned that I'm done with jose, not the team (and I still am with Jose). I'll support United no matter what the results, or the style, but i suppose I'm entitled to disagree with the direction the club is going. As is any fan who disagrees with me of course.

Anyway great fight back win, great character shown by the lads! Enjoy!

Sorry, we couldn't complete your request due to a temporary fault.

Please wait a few seconds (count to 10?) and try again…!

I can't remember which poster in the match day thread wrote, at 2-0 down, he'd predicted beforehand we'd win the game 3-2! If you're reading this: Well done! Anyway, 2nd half so much better as always when we play in a high tempo.

Happy with the result and the last 30 odd minutes. The substitutes changed the game Mata and Rashford brought energy into the team.

Matic's goal was great but De Gea's save was actually the greater. United need to do anything with all cost to keep De Gea in this summer. We can not lose him.

Now, if we can just start games with the same intensity we showed after going 2 down.

Now I hope to see the same fighting spirit when Klopp’s losers come to town. If we play like we did in the first half we will get humiliated and badly Liverpool is no CP

The moon gave me flowers for funerals to come.
Delighted with that even though we were crap first half we really needed that win and what a winner from Matic our super Serb.
It seems we can play if JM lets the lads loose although palace were defending deep.
Really hope we get a quality centre back and Smalling is moved on.

Well done, lads! Just like in good old times
However, we simply mustn't repeat that kind of performance from the first half against Sevilla, otherwise, they'll see us off next week.

Credit to Jose for going for it with the subs. We also looked woken up before the changes when we went two down, the fight started to appear.

We should be spanking Sevilla. I hope we can be more positive.

Edit: I think we know who did the panic buying of all the bread and milk in Alderley Edge the past week.

Our first win from 2-0 down since 26th Dec 2013 away at Hull. Similar goals(Smalling header and Rooney volley like Matic).

What a cameo by Mata. Everything he did was good. Avoided stupid passes to keep possession several times, but also had many clever ones. Really fluid and mobile too

Just saying I finished work and turned the game on in the 85th minute.

I'm not claiming credit, but I'm not saying I don't deserve some credit.

Dark side of the moon.
HELL YES.

This comeback felt like the old United. We might have been shit the first half but that comeback and that persistence was brilliant. This was the first game since Fergie left that I felt that we were fighting for till the end. It was brilliant. In the second half our players had a hunger to keep going that I haven't seen in a long long time. It was great to watch.

Also Lukaku was immense in the last 20 mins.

Fantastic.

Great performance reminiscent of the Sir Alex days.

We were poor in the first half, they scored two against the run of play. Palace played above and beyond their capabilities.

Spot on subs by Jose and we showed unbelievable character to win the game, especially in an away game with a raucous home crowd. We had Palace boxed in for the majority of the second half. Also, DDG - what a keeper.

Hopefully this will quieten down the negativity merchants and Jose Out fanboys. A couple from the numerous posts during the game:

It’s depressing how much worse we are than arguably 3/4 of the other top 6. The arrogance of the “still 2nd” crew a few weeks back was astounding.

I think Liverpool and Tottenham will finish above us, just a case of the least worst of us and Chelsea for the final spot.
enough is enough, Jose out

@BluesJr @Rajma

You along with many others were an embarrassment to this forum and to the club I love tonight.

Feck off and support someone else you spoilt cnuts.

And wait until full time next time.
People need to stop being snowflakes and tell others how to support the club. I spend fortunes traveling and singing my bullocks off when I’m at the stadium but it doesn’t mean I’m blind to what’s happening on the pitch.

I’m emotional and rightly slagged the team off because the team deserved it as we’ve seen that too often and rightly can give the credit for coming back along with stating the obvious we’re not suited to being conservative and it drives me mad, if you call that spoilt fair enough as I don’t give the flying but don’t tell me how to support the club.

Let's talk about what's important now.

James Tomkins looks exactly like how you'd imagine someone who has the name James Tomkins to look like.

For most of the game we were utterly shocking. But the final 30 min were Utd of old in terms of pushing men forward and going for broke. Still, we won’t win titles with our current defenders, with Bailly on the mend I hope we can find a partner for him and decent full back options.

Losing to Comeback Winning!
Rubbish first half (team of bottlers) and second up until their second goal.

Then our players start to feckin waking up.

Mourinho made a lot of significant changes.

McTominay's second horrible game, keep this up and rightly criticized harshly.

See! Pogba can play well in 4-2-3-1.

Mata is the critical one for me, with him we can keep possession up field in Crystal's half.

Mata's movement unsettle their initially solid defensive shape, a-m-a-z-i-n-g.

Can our players stop playing with the ref and focus on stopping the opponents first and foremost, only then call the ref, annoying.

Sanchez is very frustrating, as does Pogba and Lingard when they're not in the mood to play proper football.

 Everyone's happy right when Shaw is getting ready to play.

Smalling and Valencia are poor, but made those goal and assist of redemption respectively, so forgiven.

David de God the saviour again.

Matic is poor but redeem it with the winning goal.

 COMEBACK WINNNN!!! another one, that's more like it, get in.

The good thing about next game is at home, our home form is usually better.

Did I get reported for this?

I started to scream and swear (that's how I celebrate goals) but quickly stopped cause my wife and kid are sleeping. :D
I screamed at the top of my lungs, spilled my bear all over the sofa and woke the the missus up in the process. She came down, saw the sofa, freaked out and then refused me access to the bedroom tonight. Now I have to sleep downstairs. On the bear-stained sofa.

True story. :nervous:

Listening to Gøran Sørloth, Alexander Sørloth's dad, and he touches upon what many of us say. We have a lot of quality in the team but don't have an attacking pattern or an identity. Almost like play happen by accident because good players are bound to click from time to time.

Great morale boost going into the Liverpool game. They should be bouncing off the walls from now until Saturday.

Had a decent feeling after 1-2 and indeed we got our comeback win. Want some lads (Pogba) to show more ambition and desire.

Outside of the last minute goal elation, I feel a bit... flat. Weird, but hey ho.

So much wrong with that performance and the result only serves to paper over the cracks.

Even the attitude. Between minutes 80 and 90, after the equaliser, we just pissed about. 87 minutes in and Sorloth and Benteke were simply still beating everybody in the air while we struggled to string a couple of passes together.

Lukaku's attitude is tremendous, and Mata made a difference. But the rest were absolutely horrible, in just about every aspect.

I find it very disingenuous that lots of people are now assessing their merits as a supporter based on what is effectively a last minute winner. The groupthink would be hugely different without an individual wonderstrike from Matic.

The major plus point is that Champions League football should be just about secure. In part because Chelsea make us look a little like City by comparison.

That was incredible. The unreal save after our equaliser and then the last gasp winner. It was a perfect narrative from our point of view. Lots of things to be concerned about, but they can wait until I'm done celebrating that comeback.

Absolutely dreadful for the first 55 minutes. Seemed like we needed to go 2 down before we woke up. Couldn’t pass the ball at all.

If it wasn’t for De Gea, we wouldn’t have had the chance to come back, but credit for keeping at it. Sanchez was dreadful, so too were Pogba and especially Smalling.

I'll be honest, I didn't think this team had it in them to come back from 2-0 today.

Chuffed with the victory, but we need to improve.

Mata made a big difference when he came on I think and Rashford caused them problems. Credit to Jose for the substitutions.
