What a set of useless cnuts we have wearing the red shirt. Smalling, Young, Valencia and Lingard are all absolutely shite and should be nowhere near our club.

People blaming Smalling for the first - which of our other defenders would have stopped that? He is by far, to an almost embarrassing extent, our best header of the ball in our defence. So if even he couldn't stop Kompany than who the hell would have? Don't get me wrong, he should have done better, but at least he can win some against Kompany. None of our others would.
If he's not blamed for this goal, he'll never be blamed for any other goal in his life then.

I'm talking about score line. One goal can change the game and we used to comeback regularly under SAF but this lot are a bunch of bottlejobs so we aren't going to do anything.
We'll do well to get a shot on target today.

    England:
    It’s on the board.
The board must promise they would release funds before Jose can move out the deadweights. Our rebuilding process has been too slow.
You make it sound like he’s been given peanuts to spend. He’s spent hundreds of millions of pounds.

Mourinho has failed at getting anything close to the best out of this group, which is something 95% of managers have to do when they join a club.

This idea that the whole squad needs replacing is bloody ridiculous.

Don't see how Jose is to blame for this. We've got no full-backs, Smalling and Bailly are acting like they hate each other and no one can hold the ball or make a simple pass. Jose could have sent them out there with the most perfect game plan ever and it wouldn't even matter when they're all hiding behind him.
This, exactly this. It's on the players, 100%.

All a bit frustrating at the moment. I expected a loss, I didn't expected to rolled over.

Why bother playing with a front 3? What have they done?

Humiliating, spineless, weak, lethargic, apathetic training exercise. A discredit to the club in all honesty. At least get hammered with some semblance of pretending to care about the fans that came to sit among their biggest rivals to get humiliated. Not a single player on the pitch gave a half worthy of the club.
    Yup.

At one point towards the end of the half, we were conceding goal scoring opportunities from passes played from behind the halfway line to Sterling/Sane.

    Utterly pathetic.

I don’t see how people think the solution is as simple as sell and then buy some good players. It is just not as simple as that.

It’s a different story when city are at home I can accept that but if Mourinho is supposed to be good at making his players defend better I don’t expect ours to make so many simple defensive errors. And if they do you don’t play them in big games again like you have with young and smalling and Valencia.

I hope Mou is throwing pots and pans around the room, because it is needed. Some of this lot don't even look arsed that it is their rivals they are playing and that they win the title if they win. Ridiculous.

Man City 9 shots on goal.
    MUFC: 0 shots on goal.
The crazy thing is that we are not parking the bus. We are trying to attack.
Can't defend. Can't attack. No passion. No energy. Players jogging around like it doesn't matter.

The defence is shit once again so porous and if they had their shooting boots on it could easily be 4/5-0. We haven't even had a shot at goal. Absolutely pathetic football. Anyone who thinks we are improving with this manager or 2/3 signings will make us champions next season are fooling themselves

Not sure what our plan is. We're not keeping the ball, nor are we trying to counter City.

We're playing silly 5 yard passes, which is exactly what City did against Liverpool and got punished.

People will moan about long balls, but if played into the right spaces, they will hurt City.

We need a change. I'd bring on Rashford for Herrera and go 4231. Get Rashford to stretch City and see if he can get some joy down the left.

If I was Mou, I would tell the entire defence to give their very best as this will be their last game with United.

Pogba is playing his own game out there, yet again. It doesn’t work in this team, with the very sluggish Matic and the limited Herrera next to him.
If mourino doesn't drag pogba off the field he needs his head testing. Pogba should never be in a man utd team from this moment on, he's had enough time to prove he's got tenacity and a football brain. He should perhaps consider being a model.

They're a better team than us though. Not better individual players, but definitely a better team with a clear philosophy. Probably going to take 2nd from us as well.
People can't understand this. They're better than us, so are Tottenham.

We've been consistently good at times this year, but never excellent. We don't have a level above 8/10 that these other teams can reach.

We just look like a confused lost team. I don't think we know if we want to attack or defend, we just sort of dilly dally around until we get pressured and lose it.

Kompany scored an identical header back in 2012, Smalling marked him back than also if i’m not mistaken. If you need any indication why we are so far behind, just take a look at that first goal. Spineless Smalling trying to mark an over the hill Kompany and gets humiliated.

They weren't schooling us till the first goal went in. City are clearly exceptional. So you have to be close to your best. And if smalling can't do the only thing he can do half decent then there is not much anyone can do.
We were at our limit just trying to get into the City half. Download the match and watch it again after. City get into our half with ease and when they do they look composed to create a attack. We’re the complete opposite and yet to have a shot.

So we need a new GK, LB, RB, two CB's, a MF to gift to Pogba:), RW, possibly a CF because they say Lukaku isn't good enough. Matic is a dinosaur, Lingard is shite, Herrera and Felaini too. A LW because Sanchez is too old and Martial is too young. A trequartista maybe...:) Oh yeah, a new manager, a DOF and an attacking coach too.

Why not? You think our current squad is good enough to win the PL and/or CL? Because that should be our goal.
We have spent over 600mil since SAF left and we seem still none the wiser.

    Mad isn’t it!

    Smalling is done under Mourinho.

The fact Smalling has played so often says more about our others defenders, than his ability.
And we conceded two goals in Old trafford from set pieces against them as well.

It was a nothing game until the first goal and again, individual mistakes add up immediately and United are thoroughly punished.
Couldnt agree more. Similar to the first game. Undone by yet another poorly defended set piece. So straightforward. The lack of concentration and effort is appalling by some of our players in these contests. Smalling looks like he is still on fecking holiday in Spain or wherever the feck he went during the international break.

The cnut should have stayed behind and trained hard to improve. Look at what happens now. I think his career at this club is over if we can buy a top tier centreback.

Don't even know why I bothered watching. We keep banging about how much worse we are than them man for man. How about the supposed leaders in the team taking some responsibility? I'd expect a whole lot more from Pogba, Sanchez, Matic, etc. They are letting Jose down big time. It was not long before Liverpool put 3 past these shite team ffs.

They will soon say Jose is negative....that he told our players no to make simple passes or attack.

They're better than us in every area, unfortunately. And it's not even their best side.

I think we need better players, but much more we need a coach who makes players better.

No they shouldn't as he might bring them on.
Smalling and Young are not Manchester United players anymore point blank. There's only one man ever that could compete for leagues and CLs with that lack of quality and he's in the stands looking like he's about to vomit.
