Top teams don't capulate in the biggest games of the season.

Losing 3 0 without a wimper at Anfield.

Choking winning the league today.

The players and manager are all there just for the ££££.

No guts. No players who've come through the ranks and bleed light blue.

If other teams had pressured them earlier in the season it could have been a contest.
Mate that is utter bullshit. They lost to Liverpool because Klopp possesses the Kryptonite to Pep's style of football. It had feck all to do with "crumbling in a big game".

And today we simply wanted it more than them. Today they had little to lose outside of mere pride. That is why Pep even made changes. They like all watching were simply caught by surprise by United's second half and by the time they got to grips with it the game was done. You can not dare to use those 2 games as an example to declare them chokers and mercenaries. They've already won plenty of bigger games this season against similar teams. Heck even vs the same opponents. The league table also NEVER lies.

Absolutely brilliant.

Shower of blue bastards. They'll always be in our shadow the twats.

Pogba, Sanchez, de Gea phenomenal.

We know they can do it, they just need to be more consistent.

Fair play to the lads, balls like King Kong to come back like that after a putrid first half. So, so sweet to ruin the party like that - Ole! Ole! Ole! Sit down muppets

Hopefully this works in Liverpool's favour for Tuesday. It could work against us too.
Obviously City are going to throw the kitchen sink at it from the first whistle. If they get an early goal, it's game on, but the away goal could be key. It's set up for a great match.

What to say lads. After the 1st I was ready not to hear, write or watch anything football related for a week. Now I'm prepared to read this forum till 2, 3 AM. It was such a rollercoaster. Didn't see that 2nd half at all. Players proved they indeed have guts, pride and spirit in them.
Don't know what Jose said in the dressing room but it so worked. And it was a beautiful sight how helpless City players were.
I'm so happy right now and proud of our boys. I'll have such a good week. :)
Kudos to players and Jose, it was a joint effort. I'm glad they didn't win it vs us.

Special mention to City. It was so beautiful and rosy when they were destroying everybody left right and centre. But as soon as things don't go their way they become a dirty, ugly team. Small minded, always were and will be for some time in the future. 6 goals in 2 games, no hope in hell they'll go through on Tuesday.
I have to laugh at the claims they're the biggest PL team ever seen. Fek them.

I feel sorry for Martial. He’d walk into any starting 11 bar Citys and maybe chelseas and he just isn’t getting game time.

Did anyone see him at FT celebrating?

Second time in a month we've come back from two goals down.

I've been massively critical of Mou for his style of play but the spirit in the squad must be good, mustn't it.

Did Sky get a shot of SAF at 3-2 or was it just when we 2-0 down and playing like death?

Jose managed to really rally the troops at HT. I was really surprised, because United seem to have been done for Jose himself has not done it in while. Turning the flow of the game i mean. There was some first rate plays from United and maybe a glimpse of how Pogba and Sanchez can fit in.
But ultimately that win while amazing kind of resembles our wins against Liverpool at home and Arsenal away. In all these three games while we have won, our overall level of play have been rather average and we won mostly because we were much clinical. Especially today and at Arsenal, both times opposition missed a huge amount of chances. While i am happy for today's result i can't shake the feeling that this style, our wins against big teams this season is simply not sustainable way of winning.
In none of these wins, if we count also Chelsea's one, Spurs, others, i can't remember a single big game where United won and it was "United was better, end of story".
Today was United better in the second half - end of story! Hope you can see that. We've lost or drawn many games where we have missed many chances. In fact, last season was all about United and missed chances. It's a part of football.

It was a good evening for the club and the players. Hopefully this will give them the confidence and experience required to have a title winning season. Let's enjoy it and move on. Complain about the club, manager, tactics, way of playing etc. tomorrow.

That's what you call a derby! Good to actually see some passion and that the players actually give a fu*k. It's made my weekend.

This is the one negative for me. Hopefully he starts next game.
If we end up selling him we need to insert a buyback, or we let him go on loan.

@BluesJr

Sorry we shat all over your parade today.
Some of you guys need to pick a new target

Haven’t been on here much recently due to personal stuff but I couldn’t be more delighted with the win today, especially after that first half. Taken away all the shine from City’s title win imo, and when they go out of the CL next week they’ll be satisfyingly deflated.

We never start games like that though. Mouriniho needs to trust the players more and set them free. We wait till we’re a goal down to start attacking. I’m not asking for us to be completely one dimensional like Liverpool but there’s no excuse for what happened against Sevilla. We need to start playing like that from the off more often.

showed again that we have character, came back strong vs Chelsea and City. To come from 2-0 away against by far the best side in the league, to win, while they are looking to tie up the title, is something I don't think we would've managed in our hey day. Its a special result and we'll enjoy it for the moment.

That was one of the most stunning comebacks I have ever seen from us and when you consider our history with comebacks, that's really saying something. Sensational!

God it feels good doesn't it?

I left the house as soon as the half time whistle blew cause I was that pissed off. Pogba was done for me and I was fed up of shite defenders like Smalling.

Come back just in time to see Pogba's first and then everything afterwards. We actually showed some bottle after convincing the world all season/the past four or five seasons that we've got none at all. The game spiced up and it showed that whilst they do little niggly fouls all game every game and get away with them, if you stick at City they don't like it at all and it all kicked off.

Young should've been sent off, Pogba arguably too (cause I can't stand the 'taking one for the team' hacks that players do when someone is running clear) but then City should've arguably had someone off too when it kicked off. At least the second half was a proper derby.

Dave saved because he's the best keeper I've ever seen and we won and denied them their pièce de reéistance by winning the title in the derby. They'll deservedly win the league but we've shown something today and that's enough for now. Should be ashamed of the first half but so well played in the second. Comebacks are so much more satisfying than dominant wins, that's a proper United victory.

Gotta say though, I know he assisted Pogba but the question still remains, what is Sanchez doing?

Wished the camera turned to SAF at the final whistle , he was looking pretty gloom when united was 2-0 down.

They arent fans. People really do suck these days. We want it all now and nothing is ever good enough.
I had to compare comments from the same people at half time and at full time. From Mourinho out to Mourinho magic. Absolutely shameless.

Don't know if anyone saw this, but during the post match celebrations, Pogba went very close to the away fans and gestured to them not to listen to the bullshit in the papers/media. He made a talking motion with his mouth and then shook his head/hand.

Then he shares a hug with De Gea and repeats "numero uno, numero uno"

Good to see the players are passionate. Anyone slagging off Pogba should watch the video below. Starts at about the 57 second mark.

Love the way he calls out to DDG and pays his respects - "Numero Uno, Numero Uno, Numero Uno"

Strange match.

Bailly + Smalling with one of the worst central defensive displays for a very long time.

Valencia asleep too often. Young lucky not to concede a pen for hand-ball early on. Matic terrible.

Herrera performed well; easily our best player in the first half. Brilliant chest assist for Pogba's first goal.

Pogba and Sanchez came alive in the 2nd half after awful first half. Super header for Pogba's 2nd.

Lukaku terrible throughout.

De Gea great save at the end. Woeful clearance got us in trouble for their 2nd goal.

Somehow we won 3-2 with a lot of help from Sterling.
Nice post. Glad you enjoyed the win.

Great result. Terrible first half and a decent second half from the team. It just shows that we can compete if we try, but something is holding this team back. We should be able to go toe to toe with any English team right from the start, but it seems we leave it until the second half to put in any effort to try and win a game.

This'll do wonders for the relationship between the players and fans - particularly at OT.

Will be warmly received next week against West Brom.

Have to disagree, given he assisted two of our goals and created the other with his pass to Herrera for Pogba's first. I thought he, like Pogba, was outstanding 2nd half.

I agree, it certainly seem like that many times this season. I think it's down to the mind set and confidence of players. Like iv said in many posts, we are not a bad as alot of people make out on this forum.
