That save by De Gea .... match winner ...
Mate that is utter bullshit. They lost to Liverpool because Klopp possesses the Kryptonite to Pep's style of football. It had feck all to do with "crumbling in a big game".Top teams don't capulate in the biggest games of the season.
Losing 3 0 without a wimper at Anfield.
Choking winning the league today.
The players and manager are all there just for the ££££.
No guts. No players who've come through the ranks and bleed light blue.
If other teams had pressured them earlier in the season it could have been a contest.
Obviously City are going to throw the kitchen sink at it from the first whistle. If they get an early goal, it's game on, but the away goal could be key. It's set up for a great match.Hopefully this works in Liverpool's favour for Tuesday. It could work against us too.
Today was United better in the second half - end of story! Hope you can see that. We've lost or drawn many games where we have missed many chances. In fact, last season was all about United and missed chances. It's a part of football.Jose managed to really rally the troops at HT. I was really surprised, because United seem to have been done for Jose himself has not done it in while. Turning the flow of the game i mean. There was some first rate plays from United and maybe a glimpse of how Pogba and Sanchez can fit in.
But ultimately that win while amazing kind of resembles our wins against Liverpool at home and Arsenal away. In all these three games while we have won, our overall level of play have been rather average and we won mostly because we were much clinical. Especially today and at Arsenal, both times opposition missed a huge amount of chances. While i am happy for today's result i can't shake the feeling that this style, our wins against big teams this season is simply not sustainable way of winning.
In none of these wins, if we count also Chelsea's one, Spurs, others, i can't remember a single big game where United won and it was "United was better, end of story".
Not to mention all the press that have been wetting themselves over them all season. Well done lads, awesome 2nd halfWe have taken a huge dump right on Pep's and City's faces. Hahaha.
This is the one negative for me. Hopefully he starts next game.I feel sorry for Martial. He’d walk into any starting 11 bar Citys and maybe chelseas and he just isn’t getting game time.
Did anyone see him at FT celebrating?

Some of you guys need to pick a new target
We never start games like that though. Mouriniho needs to trust the players more and set them free. We wait till we’re a goal down to start attacking. I’m not asking for us to be completely one dimensional like Liverpool but there’s no excuse for what happened against Sevilla. We need to start playing like that from the off more often.Second time in a month we've come back from two goals down.
I've been massively critical of Mou for his style of play but the spirit in the squad must be good, mustn't it.

Need a gif for that, anyone? @GifLord
I had to compare comments from the same people at half time and at full time. From Mourinho out to Mourinho magic. Absolutely shameless. They arent fans. People really do suck these days. We want it all now and nothing is ever good enough.
Love the way he calls out to DDG and pays his respects - "Numero Uno, Numero Uno, Numero Uno"Don't know if anyone saw this, but during the post match celebrations, Pogba went very close to the away fans and gestured to them not to listen to the bullshit in the papers/media. He made a talking motion with his mouth and then shook his head/hand.
Then he shares a hug with De Gea and repeats "numero uno, numero uno"
Good to see the players are passionate. Anyone slagging off Pogba should watch the video below. Starts at about the 57 second mark.

Nice post. Glad you enjoyed the win.Strange match.
Bailly + Smalling with one of the worst central defensive displays for a very long time.
Valencia asleep too often. Young lucky not to concede a pen for hand-ball early on. Matic terrible.
Herrera performed well; easily our best player in the first half. Brilliant chest assist for Pogba's first goal.
Pogba and Sanchez came alive in the 2nd half after awful first half. Super header for Pogba's 2nd.
Lukaku terrible throughout.
De Gea great save at the end. Woeful clearance got us in trouble for their 2nd goal.
Somehow we won 3-2 with a lot of help from Sterling.

also the ones who still dont think its good enough after a comeback win.I had to compare comments from the same people at half time and at full time. From Mourinho out to Mourinho magic. Absolutely shameless.
Have to disagree, given he assisted two of our goals and created the other with his pass to Herrera for Pogba's first. I thought he, like Pogba, was outstanding 2nd half.Gotta say though, I know he assisted Pogba but the question still remains, what is Sanchez doing?
What's that about?
I agree, it certainly seem like that many times this season. I think it's down to the mind set and confidence of players. Like iv said in many posts, we are not a bad as alot of people make out on this forum.Great result. Terrible first half and a decent second half from the team. It just shows that we can compete if we try, but something is holding this team back. We should be able to go toe to toe with any English team right from the start, but it seems we leave it until the second half to put in any effort to try and win a game.
