What do you lot think? I think unless a stupidly huge offer comes in Liverpool should break the bank to get him to sign a new longer term deal. Where would he go if he did leave? Madrid and PSG only options in my mind as I can't see Barca having room for him.

Not a chance no

When has a player ever arrived at one of the biggest clubs in the world, had a truly amazing season and then left? Even if the club we're referring to is Liverpool who do sell their best players. If he reproduces this seasons form next season then they may have a struggle to keep him in 12 months time but even then I feel it's more likely they'll get at least 2 more years out of him

No too early. Liverpool hold all the cards because he's just 1 year into a 5 year deal.

He blew his load too early unfortunately. Ideally he would have been shit and slowly got better, and then left just as his contract is running down. Like coutinho.

The money they'll get this summer won't be much different from next summer or the one after (unless he gets a serious injury or Torres like decline).

In fact he's being grossly underpaid at the moment going off this season's form so they'll convince him to sign a new 5 year deal to get him to market value, or else keep him for another two years on his cheap contract then sell.

I don't think so. I think most clubs will wait another season or two before making a move for him.

Has there been any links? And no, perhaps next summer.

No chance IMO. He doesn't have any reason to leave at this stage.

Doesn't seem very likely to me. One more season, if he performs like he did this season again, then the big boys will be all over him and I think he'll go, depending on what Liverpool win. If by some miracle they won the league, can't see any reason for him to go.

Would have to be an offer that is too good to refuse for Liverpool.

They are a selling club after all.

Coutinho had 4 years left as well.

Salah will go where he can get the most money. He would be out on his ear if he flopped so he owns Liverpool nothing.

No too early. If he plays anywhere close to the standard he's performed at this season I think he'll go to Madrid or even PSG next summer.

He might if they fail to qualify for next years CL

Can't see it happening but I say a prayer everyday! :D

Think he will stay for one more season.

Unless Real break the bank to get him this summer as they've had a dismal season in the league, and as you say, they fail to make the CL.

No, they'll hang on to him for another season I would expect.

Klopp will use this season to tell the players it's a platform to be competitive on all fronts next season. Then when they are out of both the PL and CL around February next season, Madrid and Barcelona will come knocking for their best players.

Ideal world yes. But if he does go they will get another season if not two out of him at least.

No, he will win them the CL this year and the PL next year. After that his work will be complete and he will leave. Just joking, he will win the PL and CL next year.

If the shoe was on the other foot and RAWK had a topic about our best player leaving, we'd call it petty, bitter... etc.

Happens a lot more to them.

Alonso,Torres,Mascherano,Suarez,Sterling,Coutinho etc

We have only really lost Ronaldo since the 80s.

I don’t think so. Yes we do sell our best players but all of those players (Suarez, Coutinho, Torres, Alonso etc) were at Liverpool for a minimum of three years before they moved on.

If he has another incredible season next year and we’re not winning anything then I think Madrid will come in for him.

If Real put in a 160M offer, then you can never say. But I believe he ll be around for another year at least.

Please, yes....

No chance he’s leaving, he seems to love playing for Liverpool and has a good affinity with the city and the fans. The only way he’s leaving is if he wants to move and forces it, which just isn’t going to happen because he’s clearly loving life at Liverpool right now.

Who would buy him anyway? Madrid? Why move to the team you’ve just beaten in the CL final? He’ll be at Liverpool for a good while yet. If we’re hoping for him to leave to weaken Liverpool, we’re gonna be out of luck. Better off hoping this season was a freak year he’s unable to repeat.

No - it's clear Liverpool are building something under Klopp and I imagine he'll stay for a wee bit longer. Depends who comes calling of course and how much they offer, but I doubt it.

Not likely. I can only see Real going for him, and they are long overdue for a galactico signing, but it's hard to imagine the sum that would tempt Liverpool this summer.
It'll probably be a Ronaldo-like situation — another season for him before a Madrid transfer. Hopefully he'll just turn into a pumpkin next year, but it doesn't seem realistic.

Firstly, Liverpool haven't beaten Madrid yet. Secondly, even if Liverpool wins the CL (excuse me while I throw up), they unlike Madrid won't be favorites every year or win two in a row. Thirdly, Madrid are more competitive every year at the highest level in both the league and CL, pay their players well and their city is very attractive.

The Arabs/Middle East people have a natural affinity for Spanish clubs. You see how City's owners try to copy Barca, similarly Salah and his mentors in his national team would certainly fancy Real.

The other day a Spanish journalist wrote about Salah, with doubts about his signing, suggesting that he was another Bale. Logically saving the distances he meant that he works well with spaces, but that perhaps in a hypothetical scenario in la liga he would find a much more closed game and that he would need to develop a much more combinative game

One more season. Ronnie, Bale and Benzema all likely gone by next summer and opens it perfectly for Salah.

I’d be surprised if he left. Would only happen if he got his head turned. He doesn’t really seem that sort of character and is in the perfect setting for him to flourish.

In current form, there is no doubt he will move. Not this summer, but the next, or even in 2 years. But I am not sure if he will sustain this level next season. Klopp's system suits him and so he will always be up there in terms of goals and assists, but whether he is a 40+ scorer every season remains to be seen.

Not this season but he already told people in Egypt that is dream is to move to Real Madrid. Maybe the season after next.

It's another thing if he can replicate this season's form next season though and if Real Madrid come calling then.

What if he has an outstanding World Cup? How would that sway your opinions on this? Didn’t Madrid buy James just because he was a star in 2014?

It'll entirely be on Liverpool's terms. If they don't want to, he isnt going anywhere. Doesnt matter what amount teams bid on him.

If they think this is a purple patch and he wont maintain these levels consistently in the future, then a crazy bid might tempt them.
Definitely no way he leaves for under 150m this summer. (isnt that close to what they got for Coutinho?)
