Jesus don’t come up with some wise weird ass logic to justify wanting Liverpool to win. Either you follow United or you don’t. If you do, it’s Real you want to lift the Cl no matter how much you hate Real, Ronaldo etc. If ever there is an exception to be made, it’s now. It’s liverpool ffs.

Feck Liverpool. Hala Madrid.

It is depressing watching them average 10+ shots on goal every game too.

What? Are you a United fan? If so, have you been one for a long time or are you started supporting us recently?

It seems bizarre to want Liverpool to win anything. They are the enemy. More so than City or Leeds.
Since I was 11 years old so 2002. What's so wrong about hating a club that consistently tries to take our best players?

Says who? Some wankers on a message board? I'm sorry for hating a club that consistently tries to tap up our best players and who have been more of a threat to us in the past decade than Liverpool have. feck Ronaldo and feck Madrid even more.
Hope you don't get promoted at all.

Sure, I’d rather a Real victory but let’s not pretend that in the grander scheme of things Real isn’t objectively the bigger shithouse of a club or that Ronaldo will be doing it for us.

Madrid are cnuts of course but any United fan who'll be for Liverpool in the final should hide his head in shame.

Nothing wrong with hating Madrid, but a lot wrong with hating them more than Liverpool.

You don’t have to scream hala Madrid. Neither be ecstatic. It’s not an ideal situation. But you’d absolutely want a Real win even if it doesn’t please you see them winning. The only important bit is Liverpool not winning here.

Madrid winning the Champions League (again) is a nightmare but Liverpool winning it is DEFCON 1.

How can you not understand the rivalry with Liverpool?

I take it you're not a local fan then?
I'm not and I do understand it. Maybe because they've been a nothing team for decades. I see Liverpool as a tier below utd, besides a couple of seasons they've never really been competing for the same objectives as we have, we were winning trophies while they were fighting to finish 4th, while Madrid have been more of a rival in the market and in Europe. I'd support anyone against Liverpool, just not Madrid or city for that matter.

I think many people fail to realize that Madrid are our direct rivals in terms of players we compete for, in terms of popularity and following around the world and the sponsorship deals. Liverpool are not as big as us, and they are not going to be as big as us if they happen to win the 6th CL. So I understand why many people want Madrid to lose.

Personally, I want Madrid to beat Liverpool (but dont think it will happen loooking at their performances)
Madrid are not direct rivals, we have to be the best in our own backyard first before we start talking about going against their CL record. Your point about players is just nonsense, they’ll get who they get and the rest will get whatever they get.
Liverpool are our direct rivals; historically.
What happens if they win the CL? Apart from “6 times la”?
They get a lot more money and players will want to join them. And I mean good players, who see that cheesy bollox can win the CL and be the darling of the country.
Their team will get better and we will have a tougher season next year
There’s a lot riding on Madrid beating them

This could very much be the very worst year to be a united fan. City walk the league smashing every record along they way, Liverpool (possibly) win the champions league playing a brand of fast attacking football we havnt seen since ronaldo left. And the possibilty of losing a cup final to the chavs.

Add all that to the dire football we play ourselves and you really have a turd sandwich of epic proportions :(

So bizzare that LFC supporters heading into a CL Final think, ‘yeah better have a login on redcafe and talk to our biggest rivals.’

All mental, hope Ronaldo scores 5 and does your stupid 5 fingers to the camera and then the wanker motion...
