I thought he said he wasn't going to have an assistant manager? Anyway, judging by those comments, it will be a former player of his.

thought Mourinho said the other day he was not gonna get a new assistant as he would like to keep the spot open for Carrick once he was ready?

He was when he was a kid. Maybe he's still got a slight soft spot for us because of that, but that's all it would be.

ps. The guy you quoted just wanted to use the 'Big Man' Utd joke. It was actually quite good.
Yeah, i did think that was just a joke and there was something else.
I'm a bit like a dog, i understand more than you'd think ;)

Walker 28 end of the month, Kompany 32, Otamendi 30, Aguero 30 in June, Silva 32, Fernandinho 33. fecking wake up.
What was the age of these players when Man City bought them? Then let's look at the ages of players Man City bought since Pep arrived. We can then look at Real Madrid and the players they've bought in recent past. Successful transfer policies are age based and rightly so. The older experienced players in your squad should be the players who grew old at the club.

Its probably a bet between writers, whích rumour can get RAWK to open their transfer forum during the active transfer window. What a weird run place. They must not like traffic.:houllier:

So it’s okay for Man City to have top players over the age of 28 but we should only make use of the likes of Rooney and Young. We should not be signing players like Sanchez and Matic. Got it.

If we had quality players like Aguero maybe we wouldn’t have to buy older players with guaranteed quality. People want us to chase this City team down but dismiss that it’s not a level playing field.
