If we keep Fellaini and don't replace him with a quality midfielder that's a proper head's gone.

Jose is desperate to keep him though..........

Pep looks to be finalising Jorginho and we are begging Fellaini to stay. Without changing our approach and mentality we will stay a long way behind in regards to challenging for the league

So far it looks like Martial is on his way out, we are desperately trying to get Fellaini to stay on, and Young could play 50 games next season.

Scenes when we replace Carrick with Fred, Martial with Willian, and announce our transfer window is closed.

This. If the other lot sign Jorginho and we hand Fellaini a brand new contract then to be honest 1) I'm done and 2) it's a PR disaster, something we have been absolutely brilliant at since appointing Moyes (vomits)

The club seems to have no care about how we are perceived by top players (which will start to catch up with us when they have a choice between us and City of who to move to) and by fans (younger ones deciding who to support) - it's sheer idiocy given how much they're fussed about the commercial side of things.

Why can't we press on and get our Midfield transfer targets signed up already? Then with the Fellaini contract, if he signs then fine we have a plan B. If it's not enough for him then we've already got the quality and numbers we desperately need in midfield.

It's from Le10 Sport, they are not reliable.
IIRC RMC, Canal+ and Le Equipe are the reliable French sources.
But it's good to see us getting linked with a few RBs.
Sidibe, the Atletico guy, Hysaj.
Nothing concrete so far maybe we are looking at a RB

The press have cottoned on that we want fullbacks, so we are now being linked with every half decent one possible.

That's Sandro, Ghoulam, Meunier, Sidibe, Rose, Tierney, Cancelo, Kurzawa and probably a few others I've missed so far

This lad any good? I see he's 6 league assists which is nice.
Apparently very good going forward, not very good defensively, can get caught out of position but again really good in the final third.
I remember our Ligue 1 expert JPRouve saying that there isn't much between him and Caf favorite Meunier, so

Why they change priority from De Gea may i ask? Just curious, not that i want them to of course
I don't know, although in that brief talk they talk about his age, 25 and about the fact that they do not want someone to take Navas place. I imagine it will be a matter of money. I do not know if De Gea's age has anything to do with it. I would say money, continuity of Zidane and maybe a medium-term plan to get Luca Zidane a place, but only my opinion

If you throw enough sh*t at the wall, some will stick!
Don't know who the real targets are? Link them to every single potentially available Fb and when they buy one, 'Ta-da, told you so!'

Is Luca Zidane really that talented? His big bro Enzo was released right from Madrid?

Cheers. Ya Meunier would be my first choice but if theres nothing between them I'm all for it. Especially since Sidibe might be more attainable. He's a year younger too.

He has his good moments, but too many flashy errors. At the moment I would say no, but surely his father will insist, as when he named Enzo captain of Castilla.

Would prefer Meunier myself with him being a United fan, also he has a good understanding with Lukaku, which would help him slot in easily to the team.
But he's not available, especially as Alves tore / injured his ACL. At his age, that could be a career ending injury.
So I'll be happy with Sidibe, who is probably the next best option available.

He can also play left-back just as capably.

"the arrogance of Luis Enrique stops his signing for Chelsea".
The article says that there were no good feelings during the negotiations for his demands and that the same happened with Arsenal

They'll probably sell Ramsey. I'd take him at United to be honest.

Its no wonder they're going for someone like Arteta with a £50m budget, that squad needs real investment he cant do anything with that, a tier 1 manager wont take the job.

I said when Wenger resigned we'll see the real problem at Arsenal and that's the board.

I would too. He's the energetic type we need in there.

He offers a better goalscoring threat from midfield than anything we have currently. He's a no risk signing for me

Very well put. It's the Arsenal culture that holds them back. They are happy with top 4 finish. End off.

50 mil pre sales? who do they want to buy and sell then? not much value in their squad.
Going by reports they can probably get rid of Bellarin for a good fee. They can also get rid of Xakha (or at least they should).

Ramsey has just one year left at Arsenal and so far is refusing to sign a new contract.

I can see Fred coming and then Fellaini will still only play a bit part so I hope he decides to go, and we can bring in another midfielder ( Savic I hope).

Martial will go but I don't believe he will go to Chelsea for Willian. He could go to someone outside of England. We would still need Full backs and an experienced CB.

This summer will be Mourinho's most important Transfer Window of all. He has 4/5 positions to fill to keep up with the rest. City will bring in more enforcements to make them even better, and Chelsea and Liverpool also.

Valencia and Young are getting on and need to be replaced with proper full backs.

An experienced CB is needed and we need replacements for Carrick and Fellaini ( I Hope). We could also do with a tricky right winger.
