My money is on either Madrid or PSG.
He's 29 so he's off to the highest bidder. Chelsea could use a striker, Real might need him although he'd have to fit Ronaldo. Atlético need him but can't afford him since they have a self-imposed wage cap. PSG have the money so not unlikely. Klopp should break the bank for him if he has to.

Bale was bigging up Bayern Munich recently and now lewandowski is talking about a swap deal. He'd certainly be a big upgrade on benzema. Could there be something going on behind the scenes?

Bayern unfortunately haven’t been able to do that and it’s been rumoured he’d fill in for Benzema but seeing how well off Real are now + with the Neymar rumours, I don’t think Madrid would have a ton of interest in chasing after him or at least as much as they may have had a few years ago.

Not based off of the showing when the two sides met in the CL, Lewandoski was terrible. Benzema I feel is underrated due to his low goals return recently, but technically he's very good and central to Madrid's all round play.
'Low' is under selling it. 11 goals and 11 assists in 46 appearances can't be good enough up front for Real Madrid.
I don't think he would be. Benzema does the little things that go unnoticed that frees up Ronaldo. He is to CR7 what Rooney used to be. That would change with Lewandowski...
Only City and Chelsea will be interested imo. Rest of the clubs either already have good strikers or can't afford him.
16 goals in the League over the last 2 seasons - Bale who has played a lot less in comparison has 23 goals.

He wants to win/compete for the CL, not Europa League so Chelsea is a no.

He's certainly more suited to Madrid because his movement gives Ronaldo opportunities to attack the box, but now that Ronaldo's powers are on the wain they maybe need to seek a more consistent goalscorer. In the semi-final and final, where Ronaldo could not contribute, they needed a lot of luck to get their goals and that won't always be available next season. So maybe right now Lewandowski may be better for them as he is a more natural goalscorer than Benzema.
From Bayern's perspective, Bale would certainly solve a huge gap at RW with Robben's abilities on the decline. Other than Real, Chelsea (swap with Hazard) would be a decent option for them.
I think even though Lewandowski is better than Lukaku, we will not be in for this transfer considering the age and fee. Chelsea seems to me the likeliest option.
Agree, this has come a year too late for us. Lukaku isn’t in the same calibre but was the best available last summer when we were desperate. Now we have to build around him for years.
Hopefully he stays away from the PL if hes not coming to United. He'll rip this league apart imo.
He is a big game bottler esp in the Champions League as evidenced by his poor record in the knockout stage against the big teams but he is still one of the top 5 strikers in the world and I'd take him anyday as he would score a shitload of goals in the Premier League. Not sure how much Bayern would ask for though but I'd swap Martial with him.
If we didn't have Lukaku sure. Too expensive for a spot we don't need to focus on right now. Hell of a player though and wish we got him a while back

He should have left Dortmund for Madrid rather than going to Bayern. He already had won the Bundesliga twice with Dortmund. I’m sure he’d look at that as a regret considering Madrid have won the champions league 4 times since then.

Gigantic downgrade for Bayern. Then again, they don’t seem overly fussed with being at the very top of Europe seeing how they’re still being extremely frugal in squad turnover.
They’d do no worse with Morata than they’d currently would with Lewa, I guess - a Bundesliga title + QF/Semi’s in the CL.

OP is somewhat misleading. His Agent merely announced Lewa's wish to leave the club, that doesn't make him "available".
However, if some club comes knocking with a serious offer north of 100m, the board will surely listen. We don't need him to win domestic trophies, and he's not been a game changer in the big international clashes either.
Why would we want an average striker like Morata when there's guys like Werner in our own league?
Getting Martial + 40-50m € in exchange would be fantastic business for us. I could totally see Martial replacing Robert 1 for 1 and eclipse him in a not too distant future.

Bayern did the best slow turnover of any team ever probably, still everyone without a clue only looks at Franck and Arjen and blurts out that Bayern misses that turnover.
But to stay on topic. if we can get a good replacement for lewa a sale is fine. Bale would be awesome, but we would still be in need of a new 9. Icardi, Griezmann and Dybala are unlikely. So we would have to go for Werner. So if -Lewa +Bale +Werner I'd be happy.
