What's with the 5 minutes being added in every match? Russia trying to get their money's worth from the world cup?

Always seems to be 5 mins so far this world cup.
Mainly due to VAR. Just didn't understand only 3 minutes in the Germany game when there was a Mexico injury every other minute in the second half.

Is Embolo the guy who everyone was raving about before the euro championships 2 years ago and then was utter shit?
He was not shit, suffered 2 serious injuries since he moved to Schalke, cruciate ligament if i remember well.

This has been a cracking tournament so far.
For the competitive level yes, but the actual quality of the football has been rather poor. Hopefully we can retain the first and improve the latter.

England will probably look pretty good against Tunisia, only for us to turn absolute pants against the first good team we come across. All the other top teams will probably turn it up in the bigger matches.

Why did Firmino not start in place of Jesus? He’s clearly the better striker.

Such a wierd game, you’d think Brazil would score 5+ goals while watching the first 15 mins of the match. Then they decide not to turn up in the second half. Neymar reminds me of Sanchez losing the ball last season

England and Portugal seem much less unlikely bets after these first matches.

Have to say the ref's been very lenient with his cards in this game.

Amount of cynical fouls the Swiss have committed...

Ronaldo always had that obsessive hunger though.

Neymar is too busy with his shitty haircut.
You can't bully Ronaldo, sure he goes down easily at times but he can bulldoze defenders.
Neymar falls down under contact no matter where he is on the pitch, there's that little difference that gives Cristiano that little bit more.
