Boring game. Congratulation to England but I think semi will be the stop for them.

I’m watching this in Croatia and this is exactly how people feel here as well. They don’t seem too scared of England.
Our midfield should the key imo but England has Kane, he can score from anything. It will be an open game. Englands has been very good defensively.

I'm happy for him. Was a great player for my club in the 90s and obviously got all that abuse after the penalty miss so this is his payback now.
He also got loads of abuse when he got the England job, too. I thought it was a great appointment, better than anyone in the last dozen years. The English press are feckwits.

Of course it's lucky. It's literally the definition of luck  But there is nothing wrong with it because it's nothing England can influence. So it's a pointless discussion anyway.
The so-called better teams weren't knocked out by bad luck, they were knocked out because they weren't good enough. So the fact we've played Sweden and Colombia is nothing to do with luck. You need to go and learn what the literal definition of luck actually is.

Lindelof effortlessly turned by worst player in the World Cup there.

No, it is not. Spain and Germany wouldn't have made it more difficult, considering that those teams were worse than teams England is eliminating.
Spain losing to Russia doesn't make them a worse team than them. The favourite doesnt always win. Of course England would have had it more difficult against Spain and Germany. That really isn't open to debate.

TBF England were really boring in qualifiers. He also had this wierd obssession with Jake Livermore for some reason. World cup semi final seemed million miles away. Done great last six months as used friendlies to great effect e.g. Walker in back 3.

World Cup should be decided based on the names of countries, not on actual performances.

You're right. Which is why Liverpool were the second best team in Europe last year

I understand the criticism for Sterling's missed chances but he's made some great runs that have consistently caught the Swedish defenders out of position. To call him a useless player is head scratching stuff.

Justice served with the free kick. If that slight touch was a free kick we might as well make the sport non contact.
