Yeah like nearly half as many league goals last season. I rate Lukaku and he's one of the better forwards in the league, but 'offers much more' is beyond silly.
Ok much more was over the top. But if i had a choice i'd take Lukaku. He can create his own goals and i think he has much more room to grow. I doubt Kane would get anything above 20 goals in that Everton team like Lukaku did.

May I refer you to the 'I Don't Understand Our Transfer Strategy' thread.
There's having a dodgy transfer strategy and then going completely batshit crazy, this would fall in to the latter category. The fee this would cost you would be beyond astronomical, then you'd have to take in to account all the other costs (to move I'm guessing his wage demands would be beyond ridiculous) and it's obvious it just isn't happening, for so many reasons.

 I think Lukaku is great but even as a Man Utd fan no way would I put him on Kane's level.

The article says according to the bookies while it doesn't take much to shift odds in from big outsider.
Maybe a few Londoners fell for a mouth down the pub. That's all it takes
haha a couple of bets from 1 pub moves markets like that?!

Odds would be chaotic if so!

The only chance this could happen is where the top teams are looking to buy players from each other, and Lukuka is leaving us for a top European club in abroad

You never know, Real Madrid, Bayern, Barcelona, PSG etc are surprisingly quiet in the transfer market this summer

Lukaku AMR and Kane up top with Sanchez AML - feck mee!!
Lukaku as RM? Again, yeah right. First of all, he isn’t quick enough (fast yes, quick or agile, hell no) - secondly, his defensive capability would be like playing constantly with ten men. Two good crosses last season and he’s suddenly Beckham in his prime.

Eriksen? Yeah right - where would he play in a Mourinho-team? And who would he replace? Not even close to Pogba’s goal points pr. minute last season.
Off the right where he plays for Spurs, he has a great cross on him, and can also drift in as a a #10 the way Mata does, he's the kind of brainy creative player we lack and he works tremendously hard, covering a lot of ground, which suits Mourinho.

a) So can Kane. Go look at a season compilation of his goals, plenty are off his own back. The idea that he's some limited poacher is based off his England performances I think, he's not Inzaghi reborn.
b) Kane is 24. Lukaku is 25. What room to grow would that be? Kane has improved every season he's been at the club.
c) Already addressed this but Kane smashed it in his breakthrough season with us when we weren't very good, at all. Lukaku also scored less for Manchester United than he did for Everton, so the 'if he moved to a bigger club he'd score more' argument is clearly not always true.

So it's about 2 more than any player in our team

Eriksen on the right would take us to another level. That's not happening either but I would love to have him here. In fact, I'd take him over Kane.

Would be a waste, imo. He's decent out wide but was never as effective when he started there for us. He likes to drift but does his best work from central positions.

He is quick enough, doesn't need much defensive capability because he'd play as a wide forward and he's done a lot more on the right wing in the last 12 months than 2 good crosses. Clueless post

Those type of bets are stupidly policed. Its where the insider knowledge lays and they don't want to get stung.
Its not Utd win v Everton range where it takes thousands to move the odds and they expect big traffic .
Think about this bet. Do we think dozens or hundreds of people suddenly heard the news for this to matter?
Of course not, by definition this is a handful of muppets muppeting out

I just came up with with a Muppet theory. Madrid had a bid accepted and we found out so now we're trying to come in with a late bid a la Bale which will be rejected.
Point is, Kane to Madrid is happening.

He'd be able to do the same here, I mean we play Lingard and Mata out there and they hardly ever deliver a cross, they spend all of their time as a SS or #10, the difference would be that Eriksen is streets ahead of both and on the occassions he got in position to cross he has great delivery.
