No they don't. They're on a working holiday in the states. A bit of training, matchplay, and sightseeing.
I can't tell if you're serious or joking. They're preparing for the upcoming season. Their holiday was before this. Most players are trying to play for a position in the starting XI against Leicester. I don't think they're holidaying, esp not when they're on the pitch.

Interesting to see and myself too included how much tinted glasses we as fans actually see the game. Liverpool have absolutely dominated and it's been one end only. And how United fans see it as a decent and good etc. Imo United has been on the ropes pretty much. The only chance was the free kick which was taken well. If Liverpool had taken it's chances it would be 3-1 easily.

Like I said. Tinted glasses from both sides :smirk:
Seriously? Have you seen our team?

He should do, he's not a very good commentator (IMO)...

his voice doesn't suit it...his excited voice isn't good enough, he just sounds like he's had a nice bottle of wine...
Yeah although I miss the good old Paddy Crerand show :)

Preseason or not McTominay and Herrera have been poor these last few games so I agree with you. They're supposed to be playing themselves into contention for the opening match against Leicester. Pereira is looking more focused in preseason so what's their excuse for not showing more effort three games in?
Completely agree. Very impressed with the way Periera and even Sanchez have been doing. Preseason or not they've been putting everything into every single game theyve played so far.

Well according to who acored hes playing on the left in the 3 of a 4231 formation so not really in a defensive position.
Haha... Whoscored haha.

I'm not sure if you have access to the game but clearly Pereira is playing the Matic /Carrick role as he has all preseason

A lot of you are in for major disappointment. Pereira won't get many games next season. Mourinho will stick with Fellaini, Matic and McTominay as much as possible alongside Pogba. No guarantees he'll even play Fred regularly - look at the game time for Bailly and Lindelof.
I think you'll be proven wrong about the game time you expect these players to get.

That must be why McTominay got 10 starts and Herrera was favoured over him once he got over his injury issues.

Let me guess you tried to create a tenuous height link, and made assumptions to fit that link.
Jose does like tall players.
You can't possibly argue against that.

This is so annoying. Every time Sanchez is on the ball they just hack him down.

I think I saw him play in the last game, but every time he got the ball, he got shoved off the ball....very easily.
Physically, he isn't ready. It really was a case of a boy, playing against men.
He needs to improve his physicality, by a lot.
He looks a big lad, that's a shame. Only 18 though. Loan or reserves this year?

Utter garbage. Like he’s been sedated. Lost count of how many misplaced passes and getting bypassed so easily. There was a basic pass available to him one time to a player no more than 10 yards from him he ended up hitting it out of play like he was trying to convert an extra point in rugby.
Pleasing to hear. By all accounts he’s not been great so far during their preseason.

I think he'll establish himself above them both in the pecking order this season. Fellaini too. Pogba, Fred and Matic will be above him. You never know with Mourinho though.
@Walters_19_MuFc what do you think?
Based on pre season, and the fact Fellaini, Pogba and Fred most likely will not being ready, then i'd definately start him against Leicester.

Its then up to him to take his chance as he has done on tour so far. Give Mourinho no reason to drop him, even when all our midfielders are back.

Despite not being rated by some United fans, that's what McTominay did and got rewarded with 23 apps for us.

Only interesting thing is, Jose has played him as a holding midfielder. Is he a holding midfielder? Not for me. I guess playing him there shows off his passing range, but he seems much more of link player, and would much prefer to see him as a number 8.

In terms of pecking order, as you said, you'd expect it to be Pogba, Fred and Matic as our first choice. After that, then I guess it depends on tactics, style, etc. Be out of Fellaini and Pereira for me.

Jose has his favourites, who tend to get picked ahead of in-form players.
Hopefully, Jose will play Perriera, though.
Are you referring to Martial?

I was just thinking back about our squad depth in years under SAF. One of the reasons we were so good was it felt like even our substitute bench was always in good form. Like Solskjaer. If we had the same level of sharing of opinions as on the internet and social media then, I wonder if there would have been as much clamor for him to start.
