This is probably the first time Atleti has the edge over Real. They have a better squad that them and are favorites to win La Liga. Scoreline will end 2-0 in their favor.
They don’t have a better squad and both Barcelona and Madrid are rightly the 2 favourites. The gap is definitely a lot closer though

Atleti keeping Griezmann and adding Lemar while Real losing Ronaldo puts them over the edge. I can't see Real winning La Liga depending on Benzema and Bale keeping himself fit for the whole season. Barcelona were very lucky to win the league last year. They are mediocre and depended much on luck rather than quality.

Their squad from last season before adding Coutinho, Malcom, and Arthur was mediocre. They had plenty of lucky results such as away at Sevilla, Real Sociedad, Valencia where they look like certain to lose before Messi rescue them. They won't be as dependent on him as last year but he will still play a huge role in their attack.

Odriozola has picked up a small injury recently and is out for this game. As far as the attacking option goes. If it's a cheap player who accepts his role as a sub then it would be fine. But this squad is absolutely strong enough to win titles. It's time for the Bales, Iscos and Asensios to step it up. This is their make or break season!
