literally no chance of making up like 6 points hey
It's actually pretty much done. Will need to go on a long run and I can't see it. Still needs to be sacked and a caretaker takes the job, but only CL I'll be looking for now.

Welcome back Europe League.

Hope you're enjoying this, lads.

Wish you were right.

The squad all needs to be sold, they're all clearly sucking Pogba off and don't deserve to play for us. Part of me wishes Jose digs in, makes it to January.. sell that wannabe gansta to Barca along with his brother from another mother Martial and we can start to instil some fighting spirit back into the squad. First thing we need to do is get in Willian to sort out that right flank and throw whatever money it takes at Inter to get Perisic, so we finally get some proper width and support to Lukaku.

I think we also need a new centre back, Maguire is looking like a no brainer to shore things up. If we get them three in - we will finish top 4 and in the summer, I'd bin everyone bar De Gea and let Jose build his own team without restrictions. It has been a shitshow, him having to deal with bad purchases by Moyes/LVG and not being allowed to get rid of them.

Stay strong Jose, the real United fans are with you mate.
Should Madrid have sold Ronaldo & Ramos when Jose took a dislike to them? Should Chelsea have sold Hazard when Jose took a dislike to him? Ask Real & Chelsea fans about that.

I think, I’m there now. West Ham have played well, but that’s no excuse for our poor performance. If it’s the players downing tools, they need to go as well.

If we have 6 giants ...use the giants. Playing on the counter with 2 quick players is just stupid. But then again...so is Mourinho.

I am pro-jose. But he's lost the squad today. I don't expect the board to sack him till top 4 is gone but this is over. Not one player out there gives a shit.

The guy isn't suddenly using 352 because it randomly popped in to his head last minuite - he is doing it because whilst he was here - that was the formation we should have been using to build on for 3 years. He is using it now because he has no other options anymore but to revert back to the natural composition of the squad.

Worse thing is -
  • he expects us to be good at it whilst playing with no false 9/AM - who joins the CM's to the forwards - so we are poor attacking wise
  • we play with a midfield that is ultra defensive in Matic, Fellaini & Pogba when he has the option for CM like Herrera, Fred & Pereira which again allows attacking ability rather than adding more defensive players to an already defensive formation
  • He has played a CDM at CB but has him on the right side of defence rather than the middle - a player that is needed again link the defence to the midfield
  • Has the whole team still falling back & playing counter attack!

What is it now Jose fans? Jose is completely clueless.

If Jose had his way he would have sold Ronaldo and Ramos at Madrid.

Sir Bobby didn't Jose here either. I bet he is not a real United fan either.

This is starting to remind me of LvG's tenure. Jose isn't the only one to blame for this mess just like LvG wasn't the only one but it's a results business and the manager needs to take responsibility for it. Can't see him being sacked any time soon so Jose needs to turn this the feck around and get us top 4 then we can see what's what at the end of the season.
A lot worse...under LVG we at least had the ball

The season is already done, absolutely no chance of making top four already.
No there is no chance on winning the league. But before we kicked a ball today we were 3 points off forth, so there is a chance if we act now. No chance if we keep this fraud in place though.

If I was Woody I'd try to make history here, making Mourinho the first manager to be sacked at half time. Oh Sorry, wrong thread. He's great lads!

Sorry Jose, it seems that not even your trusted players are trying for you now.

You've been the best we've had since SAF but I think times up

No guarantee the next one will be any better though

I do agree. I think a lot of people will be extremely disappointed when a new manager comes in and doesn't bring us back to the top, exactly because of what you pointed out.

But today Jose's team selection is atrocious, it has to be said. No energy in midfield, playing McTominay in a back 3 when he's already got Fellaini in the side.
I agree, the team today is ridiculous.

But anyone who thinks that changing our manager to any other manager is the right move is wrong IMO. We need to keep Mourinho until at least 2021 and just let him sort out the post-Fergie mess. I don’t trust anyone more than him to get us into a new phase of our history.

Problem is, you can't sack 22 players and buy 22 new ones just like that.

On our recent performances I’d say 6 points is the best it’ll get and the gap will widen dramatically in the coming weeks/months.

Literally zero signs of progress.

If a move is going to be made to sack Jose it will need to start with Carrick. He’s close to the players. They will be in his ear and Carrick will need to go to Ed and lay it out. I think Ed is too numb to see it for himself. Question is, is Carrick the type of person to undermine Jose like that? I’m not so sure he is.

1 more thing. I'm not sure I've ever seen another manager at one of the top sides who was so shit scared and went into so many games with midtable sides with defensive tactics 5 at the back and trying to just hold on.

Can you imagine Sir Alex or Guardiola going to 5 at the back against the 17th placed team in the league? Sir Alex would be more likely to field 3 or 4 strikers. Mourinho is fielding 3 DMs

Maybe I'm a masochist, but I'm here to see actually how low we can go under this guy? He didn't manage to relegate Chelsea since he was fired before it could happen, but maybe he'll finally achieve it with us?

I mean, a relegation isn't that bad. Pogba would deffo be gone, so will all the other half-arsed, pussy-kneed fecking time wasters we have on our books currently.
