Not just Sarri. They replaced Bakayoko with Kovacic and Jorginho. Great job overall. Night and day from the slow low technical midfield from last season.

Kovacic, jorginho and kante really is almost a perfect midfield. Just compliment each other so well. Needs Kovacic to add more goals to his game and a bit of a long range threat to make it perfect IMO.

Hazard and Kovacic look very similar in the way they move, it’s weird.

So easy to confuse them

Rudiger is incredibly fast. Between him and Varane for fastest CB in the world.

Weird how Sarri knows his best team and perfect tactics after 8 games. Jose doesn't know ours after 2 years.
This is why I'd prefer Jardim to Zidane too. Managers who have experience working on low budgets can make the best out of any situation they are given. While I won't be unhappy if Zidane is appointed, it appears that Ed once again can't see past his nose in terms of analysing the best fit for our club.

The teams in the top 3 are an example of the job a good coach is supposed to do. All of them play good football and none of them needed years to implement it.
Agree but City and Liverpool needed years and money. City and liverpool were shit first year

He is not the same manager anymore and times have changed anyway
Times have changed in space of 18 months? Conte won a PL title in May 2017 ffs

Disrespectful comment. Their two previous managers both won league titles there.
Yeah they won titles but didnt bring the absolute best out of someone like Hazard. They won titles, yet were still hampered by defensive tactics. Hazard himself has said as much.

Fecking hate Henderson there. Crap pass then blames TAA for not getting onto it.

Liverpool basically foul everytime someone tries to break on them. So do City.

So effective.

Winning a title > getting the best out of Hazard but if Sarri can do both then no doubt they've landed the perfect manager.

I had Mourinho in mind  Did Conte's Chelsea reach 95points ?
They reached 90+ points, I don't recall the exact tally.

They have won titles under both Mourinho and Conte because they are a quality side with quality players, if they buy into whatever the manager is trying to do they are usually up there. Sarri is no different in that regard even though his philosophy is probably polar opposite to the previous two.
