Jose after the Juventus game

The state of the anti-Mourinho brigade!!!!

I'm really sorry that things didn't go as per your liking today. Yes, we were supposed to lose, but Jose and the boys had other plans.

I like this reply.
The Jose haters would've been hurting bad yesterday. They were hoping for a loss and are desperate for our players to down tools.
If Jose wins a big trophy this season, some of these alleged MUFC fans (who I believe are rival fans, creating accounts on this forum), may need therapy. They moan when we win. They moan when we lose. They really are a miserable bunch and they deserve to be called out.
They claim to support the club, yet all they do is say our players are crap, they want the manager sacked and hope we lose. By definition, these are not MUFC supporters (even though they may claim to be).

Here's another one:

Childish troll behaviour, making it about himself after the players had pulled off a win against the run of play, completely uneeded.

Nonsense. Are the abuses he got from the Juve fans over the 2 games and example of mature behaviour?
They aren't there to be mature, they are fans, not professionals doing a job, fans of every club shout abuse at various managers, Wenger used to get much worse abuse in grounds all over the country and he never behaved like a petulant child the way Mourinho did.

Actually I have plenty of good things to say about our players if you check their threads, so there's one big hole in your horsehit argument straight away, but don't let that stop your drivel. I haven't hidden the fact I loathe Mourinho and hate the football we play under him and I want him gone regardless of results as football is about more than that for me, that's not a crime and I could give a shit about "fans" like you that question the support of others simply because they want more for the club than this toxic manager will ever bring.

Don't bother. Just ignore them and let them say and do what they want. I was in Turin last night in the away end. Just know that the loyal up-and-down the country home-and-away fans are solidly behind Mourinho (if not to a man, then at least the vast majority), and we matter the most as far as fans go, and making our voices literally heard. I'm sure that will boil some piss, but it's true.

Well he would be an expert on trolling and childish behaviour to be fair. Thing is Jose isn't a lying vacuous cnut in his defence.

Putting your hand to your ear in response to the vile filth is class behaviour. Confronting them or saying it back to them would not be.

Live with it

So much this. Best Match going fans around especially away.

Love the fact the cretins are crying over it.

I think I'm liking the anti-Jose brigade's reaction more than the Juve fans'.

Try doing your job with a bunch of stupid people calling you son of a b..., Mourinho pice of sh...., put the treble up your as.... for 180 mins. He acted with class considering what they were saying to him.

Cretins? I'm on neither side in regards to José's celebration as i couldn't care less, but those that do aren't cretins. I see you post a lot of insulting things towards those that aren't a fan of José and there's no need really. Relax. I don't see why, differing opinions n all, we can't all get on and remain pleasant to one another.

Instead of making it a great escape and enjoying the victory, he always make's it about him.

 Absolute load of bollocks.
Yup, absolute morons who say these Jose antics are for 'making it all about him' and players must be hating him for that. Shaw for instance liked Mourinho's "ask FA to translate" clip on twitter.

I remember the Newcastle win when he devoted most of his post match comments saying it wasn't about him and it was about the team etc and people still claimed he made it about him.

Anyone got a photo of it that's not a screenshot from the video? Need a new profile pic for Facebook.

He'll go if we don't get top 4 anyway. I too despise his football but it's the results that will decide his fate. Ideal scenario for me is to get top 4 and then part ways.

Wenger managed to do his job with fans chanting pedophile songs at him without responding, Fergie got abuse all over the country when we were dominant, he didn't respond either, especially when we'd won and the focus should be on the players, not the mangers petty spat with a set of fans over a club he used to manage, it didn't even have anything to do with his current job.

That's exactly how I feel, if we scrape into the top 4, which is a step back from last season, then hopefully the agreement is in place for him to go amicably, the idea that he can sneak the top 4 and remain here for another tumescent season is hard to stomach.

So what? Why should Jose, or anyone, have to behave like anyone else? We're human, we react differently, you can't say he should behave like others.

Juve fans gave Jose a torrent of abuse and he reacted, and I don't blame him. Just like I don't blame King Cantona for kung-fu kicking that piece of shite Palace fan who, in his words, apparently ran down from 11 rows back to shout 'Off you go Cantona, it's an early bath for you!' and then didn't understand why Cantona reacted. As if, he was abusive to Cantona and got lumped because of it. Good on Cantona and good on Jose for not taking shite.

I'm not sure I can envisage a scenario anymore where everyone on the Caf can just celebrate together. We've more agendas on the go than Rawk at this stage. Who knew a last gasp Champions League victory over Juve could be so divisive.

I always want the team to do well and I'm happy when we win but he's not the man for the club. Arsenal too won important games towards the end of Wenger's time but it didn't change the fact he wasn't the right manager anymore.
With the quality we have in our team we will always win games and score goals but the style and approach we have now isn't going to lead us to major trophies.

He ain't quitting, I feel.

I can't respond to you directly J K 27, because of your user name apparently.

Because they are professional athletes/managers who are supposed to be conducting themselves as such, and look how long we lost Eric for due to him being unable to control himself, there was nothing good about it. Players and managers get abuse at every ground, every week, you don't feed trolls and respond, your don't incite more.

Agreed, we have some talent that are digging us out of games at the moment where individual moments of quality, but as a team we are still poor in attack and all around uncohesive, Mourinho isn't the right fit with United in the bigger picture.

He ain't quitting, I feel.

Of course not, he wants that full pay out, no manager quits these days, they make the clubs pay full whack if they can.

Not particularly. You know what you get with Mourinho, I have no issues with that.
That's fair.

I just wish he'd drop the act and go full cnut. It's funny when its winding up the opposition and not our own fans.

That we can agree on! He can’t really go FULL cnut unless he wins something big though. Semi cnut is fine :D

I think it's weird that people can't see the difference in Jose acting like a tool when we're shit and Jose pulling those stunts when he the all-conquering master of a group that are winning all around them and are 100% behind him. The 'nobody likes us, we don't care' Spiel is only enjoyable at a top club when you're successful. When you're not, and your performances are a bit all over the place, it's boring and confusing.

I personally wish he'd shut the feck up and just get on with it for a while. But last night was special. I'll allow him that one. If we can't enjoy last night in our current state, we may pack it in.

You could argue in an artistic sense that Jose's performance was very Commedia dell'arte.
The sophisticated Juve fans should have applauded him for his cultural homage to their comedic traditions. :wenger:

He's creating an us and against the world mentality, the way it should be.

Ha. It was glorious, shame you couldn't enjoy it. These moments money cant buy!

More like Mourinho against the world. I really don’t like his desire to be centre of attention all the time. Instead of talking about how brilliant Mata’s free kick & how brilliant Martial was we’re talking about a off the field incident.

I'm afraid I have to disagree. For some reason we're focusing on someone who was provoked and goaded, rather than focusing on those who willingly provoked and then got upset when they got a reaction they were provoking to get.

Just because you're a fan it doesn't mean you can sing what you want, and I'm not talking about Juve fans particularly, I'm also talking fans who sing other atrocious songs up and down many grounds all over the world.

Why isn't Juventus responding to say we don't condone such chants? Utd responded to not condone the Lukaku chant, and that was a chant from fans about their own player.

Don't get the "paid to be professional" thing really. Managers and players are paid to play football. If it wasn't for some special characters football would lose a lot of its beauty for me, and the media. It's not just about good goals and dribbling but also emotions, rivalries, wumming. Not everyone can be a professional like Alan Pardew and even his boring ass came up with that dance at Wembley.

To J K 27

That's just the reality of the world, we are talking about blocks of thousands and thousands of people inside giant stadiums, you cannot control what they sing or chant, the Wenger stuff never ended no matter what was said and the same goes for loads of other players and managers who are loathed at various grounds. It happens every week and 99% of players and managers ignore it like pros as inciting more only increases the potential for things to kick off in the stands between the sets of fans or for them to get bans. We stole an incredible win at a fortress, he should have been celebrating with his players, instead he strides out on his own to follow his own personal ego trip as he has to make things about himself, all of that was about his past as Inter manager, nothing to do with his job as United manager.
