Nobody forces his way out of PSG. Either he demanded a release clause(really more of a gentleman's agreement) as a condition for signing for them, or he's there until 2022
Short of him delivering a Champion's League to PSG, he's there until 2022. I wouldn't be shocked if Mbappe leaves before Neymar.

Of course that won't stop the Spanish papers from coming up with a new rumor every two weeks on his impending transfer, much like all of last year.

Remember when we said the same about Sanchez a few months ago. No one turns down a player like sanchez when he is available, now we wish we did.
and? a club of our stature should always be going for quality players regardless if we had some misfires along the way

He would be ruinous for Manchester United. It wouldn't be long before the antics began, and from there, just got worse and worse.

His talent is not in question, but he, as a character at a club who don't have big names or players out-performing him, is a disaster waiting to happen.

Doubt he'll ever player in England.

I don't get this guy. He knows really good players are doubling on him pressing hard and he still tries to dribble his way through when he could switch styles and pass more. I mean he's obviously got a tremendous ability as we have seen at Barcelona but his footballing intelligence varies from game to game. Last night he was trying to show off while his team needed a goal and his nonchalant show off short pass to Verratti nearly costed them the game.

Maybe he needs a manager to tell him.

I actually think he showed some improvement in his team game with PSG. There's still a lot of him running into 3 defenders and losing the ball, but there were other times where he was drawing them in and creating danger. He was solid in the first half and got frustrated in the second and showed his petulant side. Complains the referee disrespected him with something he said.

Yeah, Neymar still doesn't handle ref decisions very well. He was absolutely stunning in the first half yesterday, then absolutely horrible in the second half after a couple of questionnable decisions from the referee.

It’s one of his biggest problems. He easily frustrated when ref decisions doesn’t goes his way.

That's such a shame because collectively, his first half was near perfect. His left footed long pass for Mbappé on the first goal was marvelous.

I still believe Neymar was much better last seasons and he lost pace and agility due to his last injury.

Still an excellent player but 12 months ago he was so magical.

I feel the same.

He's definitely lost a bit of explosion.

I would imagine he would have recovered fully by now, so it might be permanent.

His PSG stint has been a let down in some areas.
You could accuse him of many things before but one this you never questioned was his attitude. For such a flair player, he had immense worked rate. The guy could run all day.

Watched him last night and at Anfield, for one good thing he does 4 selfish things. I might be laughed at here but I think he’s vastly overrated .

He’ll never ever come to the PL I don’t think he’d handle the physicality of it.
He was brilliant last night.

We all love United
Fantastic player. Not sure why anyone would brand him overrated. Any football club in the world would love to have him playing for it regardless of his antics

This is how PL fans delude themselves. Some believed too that Guardiola passing game will never succeed in the PL and Messi will struggle vs Stoke.
The current City team ripping apart the PL is made of attackers who weigh about 70Kg 150 pounds. The Neymar body style.

I am sure 4yrs ago some will argue a team made of those light weights will never succeed in the PL
Sterling, Sane, Bernardo, D.Silva, Jesus, Mahrez are about the same build as Neymar. Sterling is reputed to be a diver
Atletico that is even more physical than most PL sides have suffered many times

Neymar has played against PL opposition many times and ripped them apart, vs Liverpool over 2 legs I think he has 1 goal 1 assist. I still remember him tearing Bellerin(one of the PL defenders) a new one in a CL game some years back. Watch Barca 4 City 0 the 4th goal how he toyed with the entire City(A PL defence) before scoring

Can anyone post a gif of the Neymar vs Bellerin and Neymar vs City defence is that will convince the PL fans

Neymar is a weird player for me. For all his antics on the pitch, he's not that typical Brazilian lazy flair player. We've watched matches where he puts in a lot of work and genuinely works hard for the team. I just think he needs more authority around him to get the best out of himself. He was at his best at Barca IMO.

I cannot stand Liverpool, but can understand their frustration when that cheating little turd is allowed to get away with constant diving & feigning injury. Any ref that falls for this nonsense is pathetic.

The thing about Neymar is that he doesn't really avoid contacts, he gets kicked a lot but at the same time exaggerates too much. I have a bigger issue with Mbappé, he is a proper actor.

For some reason it helps some haters feel better to delude themselves into thinking he is not that good.

Also watch how he gave Liverpool a goal at Anfield as well if I’m not mistaken the winning goal. Brazilians even South Americans are different in the PL how many have just not settled compared to what have been a success.

You don’t expect much of him if you thought he was excellent in the 2nd half, does excellent consist of looking at the crowd when his team are in possession 20 yards away? He was also selfish at times dwelling on the ball instead of letting it go.

Neymar had nothing to do with the Liverpool winning goal it was Mbappe who lost the ball trying to nutmeg on a counter at he edge of his box

So trying to fire up the crowd thereby missing a pass is some sort of cardinal sin? It seems you are just throwing anything and hoping one sticks.

What next? His hair style

Premier League is overrated AF - and it favors size over technical ability.

Interesting point. My thoughts on the matter, around Barca's domination, was that they didn't have as tough a match week in, week out. As such, they were far more able to compete with much fresher and more confident squads. I still believe that too. If Neymar played in the premier league, he's be kicked and harried a lot more, pick up little niggles far more frequently.

Maybe I'm wrong.

Yeah, the third highest scorer ever for the Brazilian National team cannot handle the Premier League. The defenses of Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia, Chile etc got nothing on Burnley!

He is absolutely deadly on the counter. He just breezed past the Liverpool players at times and his final ball is nearly always on the money.

He is a much better player than Mbappe at the moment. Many don't want to admit it because Mbappe is the wonderkid and Neymar is unlikeable to the extreme, but everyone can see that his dribbling / playmaking / passing is simply something else. Mbappe has been disappointing in most CL games this season.

Neymar was just brilliant, which I wasn't sure was going to happen since he was a bit rushed back from injury. All this crying from Liverpool is laughable. They hacked the crap out of him, I'm not even sure Neymar actually had a contactless dive. He's so frail, and Liverpool's players are much bigger than him. Does he exaggerate the contact at times? Sure, he does; pretty much 95% of players do so nowadays. However, every time I've seen him down, the replay warranted it. The sore loser talk from Liverpool is quite enjoyable, I must admit.

LOL there we go again. Here comes the age old can he handle it on a cold windy night in Stoke when "lesser" Latin/South American players like Aguero, Silva have killed this league. I hope this is a wind-up or else you must be seriously deluded. He would absolutely rip the Premier League apart if he comes here.

Cheating is the thing I detest most about the modern game.
Even more, I detest it when people try to legitimise it by saying that because it is endemic and goes unpublished it is clever tactics.

Yep. That is what was said this morning about how PSG used this tactic (cheating) to break up Liverpool's flow.
Clever tactics.....really. Neymar rolling on the ground like a little girl (apology to girls) is pathetic to watch.

By and large football supporters hate cheating.
Just look at the trouble James Maddison got with diving last week.
Come on guys. You look really stupid.

On point. Amazing how people can convince themselves of the opposite just because they dislike Neymar. Mbappe is special Neymar impressed me more at his age. Not as efficient and mature but greater ability all in all.
