Mourinho is like a child as well as Pogba. Jose has never grown up.

But but but if Jose had been backed in the summer, he wouldn’t call Pogba a virus!

Sick of it all. Season is a mess.

This is why I think it's possible something may have been said at half time. Second half was strange seeing how well they came back in the first even by United's standards.

Jose put us in jeopardy at the start and the players recovered it including Pogba. I would've thought carry on as you were since we got to grips with the game but maybe Jose tried to rip into them.

Jose has been a virus since pre-season at least. Players also can be more professional, it's a soured dressing room.

Jose is not going down quietly, he will destroy the club by the time Ed found his balls to fire him. He will pick up fights with everyone

It's every one responsibility but Jose.
He never get a look at him self wondering maybe I'm doing something wrong. Never. It's always some one's fault. He is such a coward.

Mourinho meltdown in full swing! Pogba once again under the the firing line. He's our most creative player by a mile. It's not his fault he's playing under the wrong manager, in the wrong system and with players around him who have no confidence.

This is beyond ridiculous now. We've turned into Real Madrid in the dressing room, Stoke on the pitch. Any United fan that wants to still retain Mourinho is deluded as feck.

Are those verified quotes? I have a semi-hard time believing Mourinho would say that to one of his key players, regardless of how terrible he was last game. Everything I've heard Mourinho say publicly about Pogba has been generally positive whether it's his training or his cojones for taking penalties earlier in the season. There's no doubt his post-game comment about having 'genius doing the simple things' was a direct comment on Pogba but to call him a virus is pretty crazy, even for Mourinho.

It is his problem when he trots around the pitch, tries drag backs and loses the ball and generally stinks out the place though.

Im firmly of the opinion both he and mourinho both need to go.

Pogba is not the only problem. He stands out as the most obvious. Sanchez, Smalling, Rashford, Valencia, Bailly, Martial, Fred, Pereira and Lingard are others who have issues to a varying degrees.

Its actually a joke how he can be awful at his job, seemingly trying to get himself sacked and gets a massive payoff for it
Would love to see Howe given a chance. Won't happen though.
Howe? Really? What makes you think he will be able to handle a job this size and dressing room full of egos?

What has he won?

I like Howe but I think calling for him to be manger of Manchester United FC is a bit of a stretch. And a huge gamble.

Wouldn’t be too bothered if they both left our club to be honest.

Pogba does me head in just as much as Mourinho.

True, except I think Pereira hasn't been given a chance yet.

I can't remember why I joined this war.
Can it get any worse.....
This is exactly why I didn't want Mou here, I hate his football but even more than that I hate the god damn circus that surrounds him at every club he has been at. Can't wait until this muppet is out of the club. So fecking sick of him and yes Pogba can feck off as well if he can't be bothered to try and play his best football no matter who the opponent is.

Historically when players and managers fall out there's only one outcome. Woodward is just prolonging the obvious.

If he really said that, jesus. He and Martial have been saving him for a lot of the season and he has the nerve to say that? Nothing wrong with telling him off to perform better (behind closed doors), but to call him a virus?

They blocked martial sale when he had a year or so left on his contract, there is no way he is leaving until he has a year or less left.
Martial didn't get any better offers though because he's not as good as Pogba. He tested the market, realised he's not as big as he thinks and then came back. With Pogba, some mug would always take him e.g. PSG or Real, maybe even Juve.

Its obvious Mourinho has lost some of the players. I commented as much in the match day thread. Some of the players are just going through the motions.

Jose has fallen out with a number players and there's a clique which has developed at the club. Something has to give and the upper management has a decision to make as early as Monday. Carry on with Mourinho and let this get worse to the point where the virus spreads and causes more misery and financial loss by way of devaluing player values.
Absolutely spot on but the virus needs to be stopped at the source and my opinion is that a lot of this responsibility is with the upper management. Poor planning, one bad decision after another and prolonging the inevitable despite no sign of improvement. Unfortunately, the board have made it clear that success on the pitch is secondary to the business model and it will not be long before the sponsorship income starts drying up.

A team wouldn't be a mug to sign Pogba, far from it.

No club is as stupid as us. Jose should have been thanked and sacked at the end of the last season, and should have been sacked 5 times already this season.
Absolutely. There's no way he should have been United manager at the start of this season. As some of us suspected, history simply repeated itself this season.

Pereira was our best player pre-season and the first few games of the season until Matic came back from injury. Any wonder he's upset and not getting game time or even a squad place?

Got to the point where I can’t watch us under this manager, he has taken the enjoyment out of watching us. The style is shite, his interviews are an attack against the press, he’s never happy and now taking it out on our best player who cost this club £90m. How much longer can this carry on. It just wouldn’t be accepted at any other club.

Don't know why I've been quoted
But either way, Howe is a gamble for sure.
The same way Pep was a gamble at Barca, Zidane at Real etc

People would rather see Tuchel, Nagelsmann, Poch etc, but none have done anything as good as what Howe has done really.
Dortmund, Tottenham both took risks when they took them, they paid off.

We've played it safe and it's been a disaster

If this is true then Mourinho has fully expedited the 'dare you to sack me' phase and wants out before Christmas.

Please oblige him.

Pogba has been absolutely shocking at times but we all know 'that manager' that it's hard turning up for work for irrespective of your own professionalism. Sometimes irrespective of what you do it's impossible to work under those conditions.

Made me think of the scene from Inglorious Basterds.

Yep, we need an enormous clear out and suck it up in the inevitable loss on sales.

Pogba bears the brunt of it because the only thing getting in the way of him actually being a proper player is his immaturity. If he gets over that he will be huge for someone but it looks like that won't be us. It really is a pity that the lad is such a massive bell.

Jose needs to go too. It's just really hard to see the way forward from here. Sad times.

Good honest players like matic, fellaini and Mctominay. Maybe we will sign a few more from the championship in Jan.
Ive never been an admirer of Fellaini but at least Fellaini gives 100% and sgows he cares, I would rather him play than Pogba; Pogba seems to think that Manchester United revolves around him, that he is special but the only thing special about him is the price tag he came with. Its very easy to see why SAF got shot of him, Pogba is all about Pogba, the team and his team mates are there simply to provide him with a stage and supporting cast. It could be argued that Eric Cantona was very similar in that respect, but Eric produced the goods, time and time again, when we were struggling he dug in and pulled the team together, he had passion, desire, respected and helped his team mates, loved the club, the fans and respected everything Manchester United stands for. Pogba loves Pogba.

Trying to get fans to turn on then dancing guy isn’t going to work this time Jose. If he’s so disruptive... drop him Jose, you’ll be sacked sooner rather than lately. You need him haha

Depends on the team. He'd do well at PSG or Juve I'm sure. I think a team like Real struggling for an identity and rebuilding their squad would have exactly the same problems as us.
