Can't understand people criticising Mourinho for leaving Pogba on the bench.
Pogba had shown huge disrespect to the club. He is far more interested in his image than performing on the pitch for United. Doesn't matter who the manager is, if that kind of player attitude is tolerated it will be a disaster.

Do you honestly believe SAF would have tolerated Pogba's antics? No, Pogba would have been sidelined and Gill would have backed SAF in selling Pogba ASAP.

That is the major difference between then and now. Gill/SAF had a mutual trust and understanding. We don't have that now. And it will be the same whoever comes next after Mourinho.

You need white handkerchiefs at Old Trafford! Haven't you guys learnt anything from us?
I've got a ticket for a match in January. If he's still there I will take my white hanky. Don't care if anyone looks at me funny like. Will have it out waving. Look out for me on TV:lol:

Rubbish. The person you're describing is Mourinho and not Pogba.

I know everyone is going to blame Mourinho for everything that is wrong at this club so I am gonna put this simple fact that everyone can agree.

THESE PLAYERS ARE SHIT AND SHIT PLAYERS WILL KEEP COMING TO THE CLUB AS LONG AS IDIOTS ARE RUNNING MANCHESTER UNITED. NOT EVERYTHING IS ON THE MANAGER!!!.

If you can't see this simple fact, you people are beyond saving.
Yeah your right it's the players fault that mourinho had 270 million pounds worth of players on the bench but decided not to use them. It's the players fault mourinho tries to kill their confidence. It's the players fault that mourinhos tactic was to sit on the goal line all game.

We need someone who is attacking minded and is great in man management. Those were the main two main assets SAF had and what went missing in Moyes/LVG/Moaninho. Id suggest Pochs, Zidane and Favre
Only if we had some good attacking players... They are all either midle table quality or championship level.

It's got to be the compensation. Why oh why would you give him a better contract when he's shown in his last two positions that he gets his contract extension and then he quickly implodes? That was as clear as day. Why would the board fall for that con? I really don't get it with so called educated and 'smart' finance people. Such a terrible decision!
Our board fecked up. The problem is that they wont suck it up and correct the mistake. Big ego and pride.

I’ve always wondered whether there was something in Rui Faria leaving that has caused this the whole thing to unfold. Faria isn’t exactly in a manager role at the moment and it wouldn’t surprise me if he popped as Jose’s No.2 at his whatever Jose lands next.

If that does happen, that confirms it to me that there was something up. Possibly a falling out between the board and Jose, and Faria was made an example of and Jose had to be made to work with Carrick and McKenna?

Those players have been even worse so why start them? their price and rep means nothing if they play terrible.

We do have decent attacking players (Mata, Pogba, Martial). Unfortunately Mourinho can't use them correctly

He didn't say that now did he. let the media do this type of things ....

He said that he thinks we will be 4th.
We aren’t finishing 4th and I'd be surprised if we got 6th at this rate. We’ve not played well in months. It’s not just a small dip we’re having, we’ve been shite all season.

Repeat after me.

He will not be sacked until top 4 is mathematically impossible

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho on Sky Sports asked if he can "fix" their current situation: "What do you mean by fix? Win the title? Of course not.

"We can still finish fourth. It's not easy. For sure we are going to finish in the top six. Best we can get is fourth. Now we look to the fifth and then later the fourth."

It’s got to get a lot worse for him to be sacked before top four is gone. It’s pretty clear that the board won’t throw away money, and chances are even with a new coach we won’t get into the top four anyway now.

If there was a target available who we could give half a season to settle in then it would make sense. The trouble with that is having no time to train the players on new tactics, so it would pile on more pressure if results weren’t there.

If we’re happy to chuck 50 million at someone like Fred, then why not just give Spurs as much as they want for Poch at the end of the season.

So we have played all top five teams once now and got a magnificent total of 2 points and some are still thinking we are in with a chance of gate crashing this pack.

Reality check, with our present form we are more likely to gate crash the relegation group. For myself I am finding it difficult to watch this team anymore (after not feeling like this in sixty years of being a Utd fan) even worse I fear for them every time they take to the pitch whoever they are playing, be it City or Cardiff, our next opponents away.

I can not watch Jose on telly now for fear of throwing something at the TV. I thought things would look up under him but how wrong could I have been?? He is supposed to be a defensive coach but most of the defenders appear to have gone backwards under him.

Fred and Sanchez as well.
Exactly. Sanchez, Pogba, Rashford, Fred, Martial, Mata. I am not saying we've got the necessary quality to win the EPL. However, we've got enough talent to do far better then we're currently doing.

Last 25 PL Games:
Goals For ¦ 29
Goals Against ¦ 34
Goal Difference ¦ +5
Wins ¦ 12
Draws ¦ 6
Losses ¦ 7
Win Ratio ¦ 48.0%

The real decline started near the end of last season.
Started in January imo.
