The club wont sack him to appoint an interim manager. They wont give it to Mckenna and Carrick so early, so will stick with Jose. Money wise and no clue who to appoint really. I bet they have no clue who they want in the summer too, hoping someone pulls a name out of their arse and we go again

United twitter page is quiet. Usually they have all the post match reactions but they haven't posted anything since FT.

Exactly. It's why the calmer posters have a been more balance. There's a lot of twaddle about how this is worse than Moyes, it's not. We've lost away at Liverpool, we've not lost repeated games at home to mid and lower league teams as per Moyes.
Some posters go the other way saying Jose going will do little - amazing! The manager sets the whole tone of the play, and we have a dreadful one.

Sanchez and Lukaku bosses league goalscoring charts not long ago. Pogba and Martial are generational talents.
Yet you wouldn't know it at all.
Technically it’s worse than the Moyes season. It’s the worst start for us in the premier league era and we are closer to 14th place than 4th place.

Yes Casillias. Not your biggest fan but the more people we have shitting on Jose the better. No man deserves failure more. Takes 100% credit for every win and 0% blame for every loss.

Once a winner he became the man he hated most and a true specialist in failure. Will be delighted to see the back of the twat.

I noticed that actually. It is odd. I'm surprised they haven't got "Glory Glory Man United" playing as you visit the account like an 90's website

"we'' be in the top 4 by Christmas
Top 4 will be very hard
We'll definitely come top 6

….Top 6 will be hard.
Oh bollocks.
So, in another month, it could be fighting for 8th place, then 10th.

What I don't understand is that his current strategy of parking the bus is not working. With this in mind, why doesn't he change tack and just go gung ho from minute 1?
If he is to get sacked, then it will be in a blaze of swashbuckling all out attacking football. If you score 4 goals, we will score 5.
He has nothing to lose by doing this. The fans will certainly love the high scoring games.
At present, he is parking the bus and losing, which is boring a lot of fans.
IMO, if he does want top 4, he'll need to re-hire Rui Faria, who will fix our defence, which in turn will allow Jose to rely on parking the bus and succeeding.

It's weird. Even after defeats they usually post the manager and players reactions to the game. Maybe they can't be bothered with the replies or something.

Got around to watching the post match discussion with Neville, Keane, Souness etc.

Neville really does sound like a clown now.

He’s claiming the contract extension was a mistake and he said so at the time? Don’t remember that.

He’s genuinely comparing Mourinho to Guardiola like as if there’s not a major difference in style and entertainment from the two.

Lost the plot.

Someone just said on Reddit that they knew Jose was going to be sacked tomorrow and the twitter team are preparing for it. The post was quickly deleted.

3 years ago at this time a lot of fans wanted lvg to be sacked so that we could get Jose in December to get a shot at the top 4.

Woodward didn't do it then. He is now in the exact same position. Don't think he has it in him to make this decision in order to save some stupid amount of money.

Manchester United is a joke now. We have traded places with Liverpool.

Don't get our hopes on mates.

I think they just feel the fans won't tolerate any shite about how great David saves were like they usually post in these shite results.

I thought it was a good debate.
I think he meant it was a bad idea giving JM a contract if the board gave him a new contract and changed their minds by deciding not to give him money for defenders. It has left JM high and dry with players he wanted to replace but is now stuck with them as he couldnt replace them. This was bound to rock the apple cart between those players and manager.

Hypothetically speaking but if the board decided to back JM again, how many players would he (Jose) actually want to sign ?

It was Roy Keane saying he deserves another year due to his reputation.

Doubt the quiet social media is due to anything but keeping negativity to a minimum. Anything posted now will be met with a barrage of anger. Best to leave it for today.
Yeah lots of fans keep posting 'don't post' to the poor twitter Admin guy or girl. Bless. Maybe they need a break from all the replies..:)

I'm pretty sure around the time LVG was sacked the social media accounts were also strangely quiet. It's strange because all the match reaction stuff they usually post on Twitter is mostly available on the club website as well.

The problem is, at this time when LVG was having his crisis period there were loads of leaks about Mourinho being our next manager. At this time, nothing, zero leaks about who the new manager will be. Do they even know in the board ?

When he has players like Pogba, Fred, Mata and Pereria available, I cannot understand how they are not picked ahead of some of the current players. They play a game here and there and are then written off. We can barely keep the ball and technical players available for selection.

Taking Dalot off was also a mistake.

Only two trophies matter, and they haven't won one for 29 years, and the other 14 years. Playing sexy football in the first part of the season is entertaining for their fans, but they haven't won anything yet.
Amazing how many United fans are creaming over liverpool tonight.
This pointing to trophies won is deflection. You cant control the results, just the process. Klopp has took them from a mess to seriously challenging for both of the big ones in the very short time hes been in charge. That would suggest the process is working.

The past 26 years before he joined them are nothing to do with him in the same way Jose's previous successes are nothing to do with us.

Its pathetic how Jose's apologists claim superiority due to him winning the same trophies we scoffed at when Houllier was winning them all. I couldn't give a shite about the Carling cup and would have been as happy if we'd just finished 4th and not had to bother winning the EL.

They will not sack him until they have the next long term manager in place. It's obviously not Zidane or else he would be here by now. They must be going for Poch which can only be done end of season.

This is his 4th season. That's not very short, but the rest stands

He is just a hypocrite clueless manager. No matter how bad Lukaku plays, he never criticizes him and yet, same standards never apply to Pogba. Pogba has been trash do not get me wrong. But everything that Jose does is to prove a point to someone. I just can’t stand him.
I thought this was bit of a tinfoil hat theory at first but it really does feel that way now. Especially his use of McTominay, which seems like he's a pawn used to stick two fingers up at the rest of the team, especially Pogba. Like he's saying "Give me more. Give me everything, or this no mark plays instead."

His team selections just seem to be to make an example of particular players. Our top scorer and record signings on the bench. Young full back playing fairly well hooked at half time. Fred and Pereira can't get a sniff. Darmian is now back in the picture despite being useless. Fellaini is our supersub matchwinner. Matic and Lukaku are his foot soldiers so they are invincible too. The defensive combinations are crazy, as if he's showing Ed how badly he needed a centre back despite ignoring actual centre backs in the squad.

He's not picking his best teams or truly trying to win games. It's just a big point scoring exercise at this point.
