In the latest episode of the United Hour Podcast, Nik (@Rood) was joined by comedian Ali Woods to look back at the best and worst moments of a rollercoaster season with the annual United Hour Awards.
Has Ten Hag been sacked yet? We're not sure and we hope not, but it's looking more likely as the days pass.
Who should replace him and why is it taking so long to make a decision?

I want to drop Alonso too but have a feeling he might come good again and is a differential at this point. Might keep him until I use the new year WC.
Son and Kane doing the business. Was tempted to captain Kane but Sterling was always the obvious choice.

I went for it. Fraser and Alonso for Pogba and Lovren.
I just feel with the run up we have the feel good factor now is a time to get on Pogba at 7.8million. I wouldn't be surprised if he reaches 8mil+ in next few weeks.
Tempted to get a United player as well but not sure who to drop from midfield:

Hazard and Richarlison will stay all season and both have great fixtures coming up. Son will called up to the national team but that’s not a for four game weeks or so and he has excellent fixtures till then.

When’s the best time to use the triple captain? My mate tells me that some game weeks there’s two games that count so to use it then?
Which 2 of Pogba, Martial, Lingard would people bring in...? Could get all three but probably overkill and a -4.
Think the safest option is to go with Pogba. The guy looks fresh now, and he can score & assist, whereas Martial or Lingard are more finishers. Obviously Martial can score a brace easily, but I see Pogba scoring (penalty perhaps) and giving assists too.
It's not an easy choice, but I would go for Pogba at the moment. Don't forget guys that on the 29th we'll be given another Wildcard 2 use!

I knee jerked Son in and now I’m worried he won’t start Boxing Day
I would replace Laca or firmino with Auba

Harry Kane saved my arse this week. 61 with Sterling captained and 20 on the bench. Chuffed with that. Watch him and Auba get benched on Boxing Day now
Pogba and Martial will easily be the most consistent long term. Lingard is a streaky player though and loves Decembers.

Typical sod's law I left Pereya on the bench for his 12 pointer. If i'd switched him to Martial I'd obvo have played him.
Kane is hard work though. 2 goals at a tough away game (in theory!), minimal returns from some of the" "easy" homes.
Can't take him out home v Bournemouth now, so will probably revert back to a few weeks ago and have

I am tempted to integrate Son into my team but don’t really know who he would replace as the rest of my midfield consists of De Bruyne, Mane, Richarlison and Fraser who are all good value and have played well. Maybe I will do Mane for Son which would get me £1.1m to use on some upgrades.
I don’t have free transfers for this week as I used one to sell Hazard and get De Bruyne but I think I might still go for Patricio to Alisson upgrade which I have wanted for a while. Liverpool play Newcastle at home next which is basically guaranteed clean sheet and would earn me the 4 points back. I will probably wait though.
Mane, Patricio and Michael Keane to Son, Alisson and Van Dijk is tempting I must say. Pogba instead of Son is very tempting as well, he could be getting proper good numbers.

Son will be out for a big chunk of January due to the Asian Cup, wouldn't bring him in now.
I don't mind the defence at the moment, will probably swap Lovren for TAA when he's back, as having multiple Liverpool defenders softens the blow of each clean sheet

Lovren can be upgraded to VVD and Kolasinac to Doherty. Better no?
With defense I more look at teams covered - he's got Liverpool covered twice, City and Arse.
I agree that Lovren will need upgrading when Matip / Gomez are back, but Kola to Doherty is debatable, if Kola keeps playing.
Given the strength of his team overall, it's a fine defense. I'd probably look to go Lovren - Doherty when Lovren is dropped, as I doubt he has the funds to do Lovren - VVD given the strength of his midfield / attack.

I am including Patricio to Alisson upgrade even though I haven’t done this yet - either this GW or the GW after I’m doing this.

I would upgrade Mitrovic but there’s nobody to upgrade him with - I would take Rashford but we have a rule in our league that prevents me from doing this as too many teams have him already. Aside from him there’s nobody that would be a significantly better prospect to get points than Mitrovic.

Is it worth having both Richalison and Anderson? I also have Mane, Hazard and Frazer so I can't play all 5, unless I drop one of my strikers, Wilson, Auba, Jiminez.
