Arm out, Deulofeu is past, Luiz takes him out by knocking him in the back - no penalty. The view from behind where you can see it from the ref's angle makes it even more clear. Shooking. Then a couple of moments later our very own Ben Foster decides it's time for some NFL tackling. What a brilliant idea.

Foster :wenger: should be red though. Rugby tackle no attempt to get the ball and its a clear goal scoring opportunity.

Atkinson going senile it seems, how has the premier league allowed a 47 year old referee. All other leagues force retirement I think.

Why you worried about us? There is half a season left to go, I love knee jerk fans . If anything Pep can go out this window and blow another £100M.
Shut up, you're going to win the league, like it or not.

They did away with the last man rule inside the box iirc.

Red Card for Casemiro!
It's quite impressive how Chelsea stick to passing out from the back. The ball always finds its way out. Also, I don't know who comes close to beating Hazard to being the best player in the PL. Salah wishes he were as skilled or powerful as the Belgian.

Accusing someone of going senile, then forgetting that they changed the rule. How ironic.

Chelsea haven't had to work for this lead. Watford shot themselves in the foot twice.

Ie violent conduct, which it clearly wasn't.
Hazard going to score, puts ball past keeper. Keeper rugby tackles Hazard without ball. Red card all day long.

"Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offending player is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.) the offending player must be sent off."

It wasn't obvious. There was a defender covering.

Salah is more consistent.

Var giving a red there 100% imo. If foster stands on his line Hazard getting a shot off, clear opportunity. He rugby tackle him though. Red card.

Foster came out to try to play the ball, Hazard poked it away and Foster couldn't back out of the situation and ended up running into Hazard. To construe that as Foster coming out with the only intention to bulldoze Hazard is a bit rich.
