I honestly think it looks like we're saving ourselves and trying to hold on to the lead. No intensity to our play whatsoever.
Chelsea's playing at crazy pace. Hard to match that intensity, they're not losing the ball in bad ways and you're winning, so you don't want to take more risks by pressing them higher

I thought you’d try and blow them away again and end the tie tonight. But guess that’s probably not realistic on the back of a Christmas schedule!

True, surprised at Chelsea's intensity but I guess they were very wary of a repeat of the league game at Wembley. Clearly bang up for it.

Spurs are absolutely gash again, the power of forwards very efficient in the final third.

The whole Spurs backline under no pressure, is this what they meant by Sarri Ball?

Sarri saying that Chelsea don’t need a striker is surely a bit worrying for them.

I’m sure they’d be after one for the right price, but they have nothing through the middle. Goals well and truly dried up.

Kante trying to get on the last line and bumped off like a child by Sanchez. What is this.

For all this pressure Chelsea have put on Spurs, I've not really felt like they are close to scoring

Not exactly a positive change that from Chelsea

Watching this match today I really feel like we could catch one of these two in the league. Maybe just a bad day for both of them though.

Is my question as well. Here I was hoping the Tottenham players had to run a lot, but noooo.
No runners, no physical presence. 3 Spurs defenders basically free at any time to clean up any loose balls. Just a weird setup.

Chelsea purposely not passing it to their liveliest player for the last 20 minutes or so? Other than that cross before he got subbed.

One has to wonder what the PL table would look like for Utd if Mourinho was sacked sooner.

Is Sarri going to last at Chelsea?
I'm not sure, Sarri will need time to get the players he wants for his system, this current Chelsea team doesn't really have the kind of players his Napoli team did. Whether they're patient or not remains to be seen, if he finishes outside the top 4 then who knows.

Chelsea lose this 1-0 and they'll beat my spurs at home to reach the final.

For all their possession, Chelsea have barely looked like scoring.

They have been awful in the final third.

This ’Sarriball’ is insipid. Even LVG could get this set of footballers playing better stuff.
It's properly dull. We've had a stinker yet they're barely actually threatened us despite having a vast majority of the ball. It's all very comfortable, and whilst a proper striker would go a long way for them I don't think it would suddenly make their football super exciting. They are totally reliant on Hazard to create any dangerous situation.
