Yes, Im not saying we should change all our squad but at least give some rest to one of the midfielders. He clearly doesn't trust Fred since he has opted to use Mata as change even out of position instead of Fred, and Pereira isn't even in the squad today so that says it all.
Fred and Pereira were both poor against Reading. Rightly they are not selected based on this.

I am going off what Ole said about the two players in training.
Come on man, Ole's talking like any normal manager would about his players, we aren't in Mourinhoville anymore, I'd go off what we've seen from them on the pitch in competitive football.

As good as we can be on the counter, I worry about us soaking up pressure without De Gea. If we let them pepper our goal we won't have a brick wall in the way like at Wembley. Hopefully we get a hold of the midfield.

No idea why he is making so many changes. Weird decision making. Literally his best chance of silverware and drops De Gea against a team that rivals us. I am fine with Lukaku and possibly Sanchez but this isn't the Carling cup

Dont know why you are bringing up Mourinho. He has picked both in a big away game, I have reason to believe what he is saying is true.

Its the FA cup not the UCL, we should be rotating players, and we should expect our recent 50 million midfielder to play in games like this, if he was good enough which he clearly isn't.
We have rotated players. That doesn't mean you put in Fred and Periera at the Emirates without match sharpness.

Lukaku and Sanchez have been coming off the bench and getting some match rhythm and this is their time to stake a claim for a 1st team spot.

Predicting 2-2 but now wondering where that will come from with Lukaku starting. Let's hope he scores a hattrick.

I imagine the coaches will get Alexis fired up for this too, would love to see him run riot tonight

Not against this quality of opposition. Against league 1 sides then yes but if we go out then he looks like a fool who threw away his best chance of winning something cause we ain't winning no champions league. Why does De Gea need a rest? Never heard of a GK getting tired

Surprised people care that much for the FA cup. I mean Bailly, Lukaku, Sanchez and Romero are not youth players.

This place is going to explode at Ole if he doesn't get a good result.

Some of the comments on here are utterly pathetic. You know who you are. Get a grip.

Sanchez & Lukaku need a good game here
yea, chances of us off loading either is slim given the wages they have, so best thing would be they have the game of their life and start the road back into the team.

I agree, rightly not selected because they are not good enough and we should move on from them.

I am a bit disappointed that both Sanchez and Lukaku are playing. I want Sanchez to get an opportunity with the rest of our new and improved attack, not next to Lukaku who I (sadly) expect to continue his poor and static form of this season. Especially right now I tend to think we need to try to get him to hit the ground running to regain his form and morale, and the best way to do that is with Rashford and/or Martial there. If he continues to struggle, which is more likely with Lukaku at the moment, then it makes it less likely it's ever going to work out.

Taking the next corner instead of Jones!
Every preview I've seen had Arsenal pundits speaking of Rashford's speed taking advantage of Arsenal's defensive frailties.

Hope Olly and the team have got this right. They are the experts after all!

Still nervously confident 1:3 United win!

I agree that rotation is needed but dropping De Gea is a bit odd, come on. He could have been the difference as he so often is.

I'm bringing up Mourinho because he shit on players all of the time, I don't expect Ole to say anything publicly other than sunshine and rainbows when talking about the players.

I wouldn't go that far. But you can't play that poorly against Reading and then expect to start against Arsenal.

Makes perfect sense to me to play Lukaku in this game.

Well I dont have a problem with him picking Alexis and Lukaku. Martial and Rashford cannot start every game.

The Arsenal defence lacks pace as well. We wouldve got more joy keeping the speed in our attack but it is what is. Let's hope it works out.

Change even out of position? Huh?

And yeah Andreas. I think he's leaving. This was an important season for him and he didnt get much of a chance under Mourinho and Ole hasnt thrown him in straight away so looks like time running out.

    Henry Winter on Norwegian tv:

"Their number one choice is Pochettino. Their number two choice is the Tottenham manager. Their number three choice is probably OGS"
Was that a blunder or did he emphasise that to suggest we’re balls deep in Poch or nothing?

Win tonight and Ole gets the job for me. That's a bold selection benching Rashford and leaving De Gea at home.

I would have thought it would have made more sense to play one of them this match, then the other against Burnley. Well, I actually expected both of them to only come off the bench this match, but I could easily see one of them starting. Both is risky, in this match in particular and also longer-term for Sanchez (as I do believe half the issue with him is confidence).

Can't actually believe what I am reading by some on here.
This is our only chance to win something and some are saying they are not bothered about it, play a weakened team, sorry but WHAT.
FA Cup deserves, no demands our strongest team possible.
    Even more so at Arsenal.

You'd think we've put out an u23 side going by comments on here. I can understand the concern over de Gea not bailing us out if needed but come on
