Rashford must score 1 should have 2 and could have 3.

Burnley scored 2 goals out of 3 chances. Can happen. I think it's good that Ole gives chances to everyone. Good for the spirit.

That the game was draw was about Andreas and especially Rashford not scoring.

Not going to criticize Ole for making the changes, sometimes you have to freshen it up and you have got to show trust and belief in the players. If Rash had scored that sitter early doors we probably win at a canter and on balance we just had awful luck tonight. We might expect to win every game but we have no divine right and it was just not to be.

Loved the positive mentality and fight to get something out of the game, Shaw and Lindelof still getting better and better under Ole and Pogba is showing his worth. We now know that Pereira just does not have it at this level and needs to be on his way by the summer at the latest and all the good vibes in the world can't paper over the fact that we need 4 or 5 quality players to compete week in and week out with the likes of Liverpool. I expect a busy summer transfer window, we didn't go crazy this year and seem to be sellers in January so the war chest should be there to address the obvious issues.

That was vintage United. I'm delighted at the fight back. Burnley came for a point and defended resolutely. It's so good to see us attack with everything we've got again. Ole's got my vote.

Very odd. Burnley are a very strange team who are just odd. Should never have been two down against them go begin with.

First major blunder by Ole. Firstly the team selection was woeful in key areas. He already executed a solid formula for beating teams through swift counter attacking, why throw a spanner in the works? Mata starting over Sanchez is a head scratcher, given the latter's performance against Arsenal, and pushing Rashford out to the left for the sake of Lukaku made as much sense.

Also, I understand giving Pereira a chance, but Herrera has been one of the most crucial players of the seven game run and he's not even subbed in once we're losing? And Dalot offers a lot more than Young, whose primary characteristic is lobbing in poor crosses, yet he was also left on the bench. The selection lacked our important players and we lacked creativity as a consequence and the changes were made too slowly -- Ole's slow reaction time is not a good sign, hopefully just a blip.
I’m not sure how you can play a counter attacking system against a team that plays the way Burnley did tonight tbh

Great comeback but Ole should now know putting blind faith in some players will take away any opportunity of him getting the Utd job. He picked the wrong starting 11 today and I thought late in making the changes.....

Well I guess crap things happen. Burnley were immense in their defense today and their keeper pulled off some great saves. I was a bit disappointed about the shots on target.
Pereira made a costly mistake and had yet another ok game otherwise. I am not so sure what is his future. But then I don't blame him for a mistake. Things like that can happen.
Rashford however is not supposed to miss those sitters.

Think many players made mistakes and so did the manager. But kudos to the fighting spirit and an awesome come back.
Guess we can now call it an unbeaten run. It was fun till it lasted.

Not a great night, but a lot of positives for sure:

1. Some players clearly shouldn't be playing in certain positions.
2. Some players clearly shouldn't be playing for Man United.
3. Some players clearly shouldn't be playing football.
4. Great comeback, Old Trafford was bouncing towards the end.

Next game I'd just like to see that Ole has learned some things from today and not include certain players in the starting XI. In fact, let's not include them much at all (unless forced to) until they're sold this summer.

On to the next!

I did not see the game, and I mentioned that many on here were dismissing Burnley on pre-match threads. The Premiership is actually quite open in many ways. Look at the results tonight... teams coming back, walloping goals in... you can't predict too much, and we as fans, cannot get too beyond ourselves.

We have a limited squad. Burnley are fighters. And grabbing this result shows great character.

But we need some players. Quality players.

Young can't cross a decent ball
Rashford was not focused
Mata was absent for many minutes
Pereira wtf

Today we needed Herrera !

We had specific errors in defense that generated the goals. I think we put a lot of emphasis on the aerial game and the long balls today. Sad but I trust that we will reach the 4th place. Great comeback btw.

Andreas offers nothing but this result is down to OGS. He was known for rotating too much at Cardiff and he did the exact same thing today. Very naive. We get it Pereira is a nice lad who worked hard in training. Big deal. Why was Young not rotated, Dalot can't get a start no matter how poor young is. Real silly decisions by Solksjaer today and the result is down to him. And Rashford missed an easy sitter at the start of the game. We could've gone 1 nil up. Will the fans blame him for that as much as they blame Andreas. No. I wonder why..

Not sure why people are criticising Mata? Looked great when he was central! On another day we score 8... c'est la vie!
Easy target for some reason. He wasn't that bad. You'd think it was solely his fault we didn't win.

We have to better on our finishing. Every once in a while you're going to hit a wall against a club like Burnley (see City's result today) but with a bit better finishing in the first half we could have put this cnuts away and never allow them to get their heads up.

But the real story of this performance is the positive -- that we came back from 0-2 down very late to scrape the 2-2 draw.

We can't really blame the team selection with the way the fixture list is the coming month. 2 games a week, and mostly top teams aswell, at home vs Burnley is one of the few games where players can be rested.

Burnley gave their all, and Heaton channeled his inner Shay Given vs us, sometimes we can't win even if we deserve it.

Quite interesting how they could push in the back without getting freekicks against, but our lads couldn't. And they could kick our players all over the pitch, without getting booked, that Barnes dude should have had a few yellows.

Couldn't believe the amount of Ole haters in the match day thread, what a fecking joke.Heaton had a De Gea match but we came back at the death and got the two goals.

Beat Leicester and we're back on track again.

Looks like a team that will make the game harder than it should be. Mata and Pereira should be nowhere near the starting 11.
Saw it coming before the game. Ole got clever with the line up and we paid the price.

We spent the game throwing aimless crosses into the box which Burnley lapped up.

Ole previously tried two systems with rotation with players complementing each other's style. I get it. This time he tried third and looked like completely disfunctional mismatched players thrown in the mix without a plan, hoping it to work somehow.

Not good Ole, not good.

I said this before - Don't ever start mata, ever, in any system. If you want to give him some play time because you somehow feel obligated to, then bring him when we are leading comfortably.

We actually played well and were on top the entire game. The only problem was lack of finishing. If Pogba and Rashford take their chances in the first half then we win easily and probably if perriera doesnt make that mistake we also probably win. It's one of those days where you make mistakes and those are what punish you.

What a finish. Can't win them all.

Burnley excellent though. One of the best defensive displays I've seen in the league in years.

Ole missed a trick by not playing Lingard and Herrera for this one. You cannot get outworked by Burnley, they'll always be tough to beat.

If we still have Van Persie, he would have volleyed that chance Rashford wasted.

Poor finishing cost us this game.
Blimey. Rashford is no Van Persie, not many forwards in Europe are. Rashford has been outstanding recently, outstanding. You can't have this reactive approach to our players, it's not a helpful.

At least we know where we are lacking with our squad options. It's a good comeback but a shite result nonetheless, given Arse's win.

Taking the next corner instead of Jones!
Nice comeback – felt confident we'd always get something! This fight-back never would have happened under The Grinch! I was actually disappointed that we didn't sneak it at the end.

I fear that it was maybe a bit of naivety with too many changes from our best line-up added to a perfect storm of a weakened side, overly aggressive opponents and a ref seemingly too happy to let too much go.

Anyway, we can't be unhappy with that! I know that we have to rotate but I think we need to remember to keep a bit of balance as well. Fred must be fecking awful in training if he can't get into the rotated starting team in front of Periera.

Didn't like the Mata negativity in the MDT but that's the MDT for you – the footy brains there probably spent the second half dishing out on Ole like they're experts. I wouldn't know because I vacated it around 40 mins to call the Samaritans

Pity we didn't pick up all three points but if that one single point gets us where we want to be at the end of the season I doubt anyone will be complaining!

Onwards and upwards!

Hopefully the last time we see Perieira in a United shirt, did feck all except gifting Burnely a goal. And i dont mean to sound like a fanboy but i dont see any wrong with the line-up. First of all, those fielded today should be comfortable handling Burnley at home and second we have a pretty tough program now and we need to rest some players.

Crap result, but its just one of those games where their defense and keeper play like world beaters, our attackers forgot how to finish and they score on the only two chances they have, which really came from nowhere + some daft defending

Great comeback by the lads, never give in, never die, Solskjaer reacted and Pereira will learn from tonight. Thought it was gone but they proved otherwise, 2-2 will do me tonight.
