fecking nerd. I love it
I thought nerds are protected here in caf. Leave him alone! :nervous:

I mean he fell off a cliff into a volcano, after bitting a dudes finger off, I don't think you get credit for being the saviour of anything by accidentally dying during an assault.
Well. If Gollum wasn't there. Sam would've been okay with Frodo dwelling on that cliff and taking the last shot of the ring, get high and get gud.

Those on the battle field would have been massacred.

I love those RAWK posts which begin like a historical biography & then tack Liverpool's activities onto the end:

'In 300 BC, General Zigazig Ah of Sparta celebrated total victory over the Teutonic tribe of Battenberg...but he forgot that the German warriors had a game in hand...and it was against poxy Bournemouth. Ok, it wasn't, but you know what I mean.'

Quoting this about other non-RAWK social media because of how beautifully ''real supporters'' is floated into the 2nd part.

Some of our fans on there are an utter embarrassment... I don't think real supporters take notice of social media nonsense these days - just full of extremities and drama queens.

To be truly honest, at no point up to now have I ever genuinely believed we would win the league this season. I've just never felt we quite had the depth or that true killer instinct that gets you over the line. We certainly aren't far off, but we have also been up against the most financially doped club in British football history. Despite those feelings, I've always hoped I'd be proved wrong, and I very well may be yet.

I don't think any of us even dreamed we would be in this position at the start of the season. It wasn't so long back that all we wanted was a team that could at least compete and give us some excitement. We now have that, and Klopp has managed this in pretty quick time. We aren't yet the finished article, but we are up against the wealth of a nation and a cheating club on financial steroids who pretty much are the finished article. Thing is, we are still neck and neck with them, despite having our blip.

I think the reason some heads have gone is that too many bought into the idea that if we had beaten them at their place and gone 10 clear, we'd have it sown up. We didn't manage it, but I still think far too many bought the idea that we were definitely going to do it this season when we were 7 ahead. There was always far too long to go in the season to be even thinking along those lines though, and 7 points is not a lot with so many games still to play. Look at Spurs. Not long ago they seemed dead and buried as far as the league is concerned. Now they are right in the mix. Early on, Chelsea looked good, but now they are well off the pace. Things can change so quickly. City were ahead for quite some time and their goal difference was way ahead, but we hauled them back, overtook them and cancelled out their goal difference. They have responded, and we have time to do the same. We are level on points with a game more to play. Who knows how it will pan out now? The real frustration is coming from seeing the lead dwindle, but I think it was always going to. Unless one of us implodes and lets the other pull ahead, this is going to be very close, and certainly not decided in February. There is a lot more to come yet. This could be the kick up the arse we need. This could be where City think they've done the hard work and get complacent. Who knows?

We've got what we asked for - a team that can compete. Nerves, highs, lows etc go with that territory. From here on in I think we just have to get behind the club and give them our all. We have nothing to lose by doing so, and maybe everything to gain. This is far from over...
Amen, brother!
eeer, huh?

We have games at Old Trafford where were historically awful coming up. The defence has gone and the attack hasn’t been there all season. If we don’t sort it out Saturday and onwards then we will end up in a battle for 2nd
Interesting you should say that.

Our last 3 title challenges 01/02, 08/09, 13/14 (feck me that's shit. 3 title challenges in 16 years before this season)

01/02 - Manchester United 0 - 1 Liverpool
08/09 - Manchester United 1 - 4 Liverpool
13/14 - Manchester United 0 - 3 Liverpool

Of course we fell short and ended up runners up in those seasons, but just pointing out that we've won their when we're challenging. Their 01/02 and 08/09 teams were a whole lot better than this one. Our current squad is better than both of those 2 seasons.
Ole! Let them win at OT!!!

Anyone panicking at the moment is a fanny.

Didn’t even watch City tonight. Don’t give a feck what they do. Had a lovely time watching Kirsty and Phil doing up a house in leafy Suffolk on C4 whilst enjoying a few beers. If they win so be it. We need to win this title rather than be handed on a plate by other teams failings.

We’ll beat Bournemouth on Saturday and the pressure will be back on City.

12/13 games to go is not the time to be shitting your pants about every little thing that doesn’t go your way
I don't think I've ever seen you write a bad post.

I never watch the twats either. I had Coronation Street on then The Undateables.

1920's Liverpool, rickets diphtheria pox and TB were the main threats, but the Liverpool forward line looked just as dangerous when in full flow.

Chelsea just lost 0-4 to who? Do we really think they’ll pose even a minor threat to City? We’ve got to stop hoping other teams do us favours and just focus on our games. Chelsea have no chance and I don’t really care who City play next. We just need to win the next 4 games on the trot and let City worry about their own fixtures.
Crystal Palace lost to Brighton and West Ham prior to beating Man City
Leicester had drew with Fulham and lost to Spurs and Crystal Palace before beating Man City
Newcastle had beaten only Huddersfield and Cardiff in their previous 10 games before beating Man City
Chelsea.....oh, turns out Chelsea have beaten Man City previously this season too.
Those teams were not as good as this one. The club in both cases were not in healthier places as it is now either. This team is much better than Rafa and Rodgers’ sides.
It's definitely not 'much better' than Rafa's side. A fully fit defence marginally better. Rafa's midfield was much better than this one. You'd probably take this forward line.
Ok maybe not much better but it is better. That teams defence and attack wasnt as good as ours now.The midfield was great but we have better depth now.
This. I'd give the TAA-Gomez-VVD-Robbo defence a bit more credit, but I agree with you.
Wouldnt have a single defender in that Rafa side over our current defence.
Arbeloa - Carra - Agger - Aurelio

This season is a better defence, but not by much I don't think. That defence conceded 27 league goals that season. The current one is on 15. We were up against much better opposition then than most of the dross served up in the league these days.

Just a point on how the media are liars and vindictive. Danny Mills said today we were 9 points clear.

Thats the third time in 2 days i have heard people say we were 9 points clear. They are deliberately trying to create a narrative to push their agenda.
Yeah it's utter nonsense we were never 9 points clear.
We were after the Arsenal game. 9 Points clear of Spurs who were in 2nd, but City played the next day. This is what the knobheads are keen to brush under the carpet.

- Oin was a dwarf from Thorin Oakenshield's company in 'The Hobbit'. Lazy, especially when you have Olo Proudfoot and Olwe of the Elves at your service.
- 5ollum because Ole looks like Andy Serkis' Gollum and 5 times, la.
- Ar-Sakalthôr, was once a King of Numenor, and referenced in Tolkien's Unfinished Tales. Why him from the 24 other Rulers of Numenor or any one of the 1200 characters that Tolkien made? I'm guessing it's because they went through the character list and found only this fella with an s, a k, and an l in the name. Why they never went for a wordplay on The Shire, is beyond me.

Even their exaggerated parodies fail to fulfill their potential fall flat on their arses.

Their squad better than 08/09? What? Rio and Vidic vs Lovren. Scholes and Carrick vs Wiyjyjynaldum (or something like that) and whoever else they have. And is Salah now somehow better than a 25 year old Ronaldo? I don’t even need to go on with Rooney, Tevez etc. Oh and Sir Alex vs Jurgen fecking Klopp?
These guys are unreal.

I actually missed that part of his quote..feck me he's deluded. Literally not one Liverpool player of 18/19 gets into our 08/09 team. Not one!

I thought he meant their squad now is better than their squad on 08/09 but knowing RAWK probably not.

Guardiola is pointing out that we have to go to Old Trafford?

Are City not going there or is he so certain that they already have those points sewn up?

Arrogance or mind-games?
Be weird if United end up deciding the title in favour of either their one true rival or their noisy neighbour.
