I don't believe he's even made the bench since the Jan window shut

Chelsea really have screwed him over

We've had two games since the Jan window shut. He played in the first one, today is the second and he's not fit (missed training).
Fair enough, didn't realise he came on against Huddersfield

I hope we are interested and can convince him to forget Bayern. He'd certainly start a lot of games for us.

Wonder if Ole needs a right winger?
Funnily enough, I was thinking we should be trying to see if we can get him across. I think he has potential to become a star and could be a good fixture for our team and squad. Would get plenty of trust and time.

From reddit, Ole talked to Hudson-Odoi after final whistle.

From that video it just seems like Ole is doing his usual of shaking the hands of every member of the opposing team with the odd word to them.

Chelsea would never sell him to another club domestically.

Why? He will have only one year left on contract and Chelsea have sold Mata, Matic to ManUtd.

Maybe things have changed now but with only 1 year left on contract, Chelsea don't have much options isn't it, if he wants ManUtd only.

We'll buy Sancho, Dortmund will buy CHO to replace him.

Probably but the my seem to be all about maximising return nowadays. They sold us their best DM and Mata.
Probably me just wishing.

Mata and Matic were surplus to requirements and on the downward spiral - they can't sell a potential young superstar to us - you wouldn't think.

CHO is a bit different to those, though. Mata was surplus to requirements, and Chelsea wanted to sell Matic. They don't really want to sell CHO domestically when there's a huge chance it'll backfire on them.

Mata was their player of the season for 2 seasons when they sold him. He wasn't on downward spiral.

Like I said they might have changed their approach as they had no problem selling Lukaku to other PL club and he was also young player with lot of potential. Before that they sold Sturridge to Liverpool as he wasn't regular player.

Way I see it, Mata was their player of the season and then under Jose he wasn't regular. When they sold him he was 24-25 years old which is young age.

I agree that they might want to avoid selling him to domestic teams but if he wants only ManUtd they don't have choice isn't it, considering he will have only 1 year left on contract. They will lose him for nothing.

In that case, then yeah, but I can't see him having his heart set on United and United only.

He's been highly rated for a few years now. When he plays you can see he has quality. Has that ability to beat players for fun. You can't teach that.

Huge waste of talent to be rotting away on the bench and no surprise why he wants out. When you are losing 2-0 and the manager decides to bring on Zappa-fecking-costa, then it doesn't surprise me why you want to quit the club. Even more so now.

Yeah, I think he has set his heart on Bayern move.
It's still a foreign country, in Germany, while not speaking the language. United could convince him that life in Manchester is better in term of adaptation than life in Munchen... weak argument maybe, but then, Rashford, Lingard and Smalling have to talk to him.

But they won’t he’s a youngster so it’ll go to a tribunal or clubs agree a fee.

He seems to like playing on the left though, no? We need someone on the right side of the pitch.

Yeah but then there is someone like Sancho who is getting so much hype and he was in similar position at City.

Also guaranteed to win few league titles, regular in CL and down the line he can come back to PL.

Must be soul destroying for Chelsea fans. Pedro and Willian are forcing him out.

Most expats of Anglo-American descent don't speak the language, even if they've spent the last 10 years or more here...it's simply not required to get by perfectly.

Why didn’t they sell him at the winterbreak then?

Love how Chelsea drip fed him a few appearences while the window was open, now he's back to the bench with no minutes

He's leaving on a free i'd imagine.

They'll lose him for a hell of a lot less than they rejected for him in January, stupid from Chelsea.

It seems particularly cnuty to not let a young player go to a major club like Bayern and then not play him anywaym especially when it's not like things are going great and they can't drop anyone.

If you were a highly talented youngster you'd have to make sure you didn't sign any long term contracts at Chelsea. Get all your initital training there and as soon as you're ready for first team football leave as soon as possible.
