Well true, but that's true regardless of who we draw. We seem to actually still have motivation for CL games as well, it's mainly the Prem where our motivation has dropped off and complacency has set in.
If I had to order who I'd want to play (easiest to hardest) it would go: Porto, Ajax, United, Liverpool, Juventus, Barcelona, City, so United would still be a good draw for us and I think pretty much 50/50 if we play to our strengths and have everyone fully fit. At Wembley we should have scored 3 or 4 second half, United are in excellent form under Ole but you're beatable, we can get at you. Maybe if I had to pick a favourite it would be you, but that's purely based on current form, and that could change between now and the quarters.
I think if we drew any of Juve/Barca/City I wouldn't feel very confident at all. We already know what Messi and City can do to us, and whilst I think Juve are beatable they're still an elite side and Ronaldo would likely step up. We'd be big underdogs in any of those games.
For me we'd be big favourites vs Ajax & Porto, and I don't see that as me being arrogant, it's just that I think the portuguese & dutch leagues are far behind the premier league. That's not to say either wouldn't stand a chance, but I'd back us to go through most times.

That printed leak draw is dodgy as feck, the UCL logo doesn't really fit the official document like that. It's basically taken from Google pics after typing 'champions league logo' Why would they place it there anyway, the current one has a purple background too. Obvious fake but I'd take Spurs

Some guy make a Word document, printed it, put it on top of his desk, took a photo at a weird angle to make it seem like a leak and posted it on twitter while pretending to be a UEFA director or something like that... it literally happens every year ffs.

To be honest, I don't really care who we draw as Ajax. We have put up a terrific CL-run from the qualifications to RO16 and sincerely believe that we can defeat any remaining party if we play like we have been doing for the last couple of months. There is no team left that has set up a greater CL performance thus far than we have.
Don't get me wrong. We are by all means still the underdog party considering all the big-money clubs that are still left, excluding only Porto, but we are playing with a certain confidence and bravoure in the Champions League that will downright intimidate any team we'll face.
The motto "We Are Ajax, We Are The Best" might sound ridiculous to some, but Ajax' rich history has ingrained the club with such class and boldness that few sides have entrenched in their club-culture. I sincerely believe that these sentiments play a role in such games.
Whether we will advance to the semi-finals or not, we will sell our lives dearly against which team whatsoever.

Would rather get City than United. Even though we'd have a better chance against United. Getting knocked out by United would be painful!
Whoever faces Barca is gonna lose. That team will need a world class defence. City will get ripped to shreds and so will any English team. Juve is the only hope of knocking them out because they are very solid and now have Ronaldo who's on fire.

Well.. In case of babies, if man and women both only had brothers, chances of them conceiving a boy is greater than 50%. Even if the man had only brothers the chances are above 50% that it would be a boy.
It really feels to good to find out United in the QFs after so many years, like its just a fresh feeling and I want us to become the top dogs of Europe again. I know we are not there yet, and our win against PSG was full of luck, but I can see us competing there and beating the big dogs. I know we have beaten PSG and Juve this season, but we weren't dominating those games and both of them clearly missed plenty of chances.
So anyway, my predictions for the QFs draws are

Highly likely a load of bollocks but when it comes to UEFA and FIFA nothing would surprise me with those crooks, I’m sure they’d hate to see the majority of English teams getting through.

Actually pretty nervous for this, more nervous than our actual game tbh. Everything is possible now and with a favorable draw the path to the final could be wide open for the second year in a row. With all the fuzz around our title challenging league campaign, we could have a great shot at another CL final if the draw is kind to us.

The 'leak' is completely fake but if someone from UEFA saw it, surely they will try to avoid this set of draws to avoid controversy?
The best thing about this draw is that we'll know our potential opponents in semi-finals.

I don't think we're strong enough to beat either Barcelona, City, Liverpool or Juventus. We might even struggle against Spurs. Therefore, it's gonna be a shit draw for us anyway. Might as well try enjoy some of those fixtures and hope we don't get embarrassed.
