LVG would be proud. Tons of aimless possession with absolutely 0 movement and chances created.

Not too down on that half. Not the best, but this was always likely to be a tough game. Wolves are the best of the rest in the league and are treating this as a massive opportunity.

We need to stop losing the ball in dangerous areas. If we’re coaching our players to take corners like this then it needs stopping. So high risk for little reward.

We’ve had plenty of the ball, but look blunt creatively. Martial ain’t running for much, Rashford is being greedy, and Pogba below par.

Martial might need to be pulled for someone who is going to trackback on Doherty.

Terrible tactics? We are trying to control the game. Wolved are very well drilled and our front line isnt match fit yet and are having a poor game so far. Questionable team selection? This is by far our best eleven.
If the plan is to control the game we're failing badly at it

Shades of LVG. The possession game with Dalot high up on the right isn't really effective for whatever reason. I'd just play a lot more direct next half and press hard if we want to get anything out of it.

I'm not against playing yourselves into a game, but that's been piss poor by United. Basic football has been forgotten, passing, corners, attack and defence are not upto speed. Hope for better next half.

Scrappy half, players returning from injury look understandably rusty. We aren’t looking very sharp in the final third.

I think it’s been even. Both teams lacking that bit of quality in the final third.
They should have scored with that Jota chance. It's not like they've dominated us, but I still think they've clearly been better and their game plan has worked.

    Bit of a non-event really.

Even the broadcast is shit, they keep showing pointless close-ups even after the action has restarted. Not that there's anything to miss but still.

Pedestrian and sloppy. Rashford needs to stop thinking he's ronaldo. Need to increase the tempo and can't afford to lose the ball infield when so many players are forward they'll punish us.

He’s been shit. His weight of pass is awful, he seems incapable of playing a first time pass, he does sod all defensively and rarely shows for the ball. He is completely pointless. Fed up of carrying passengers in defensive midfield.
I very much disagree. If we remove him we lose all possession in midfield. Who would you rather have in his position currently from our squad?

Weather isn’t conducive to being quick, intricate or any way that we’re currently playing.

Ole put the frighteners on them and hopefully we’ve got the wind with us this half.

Time to bring Lukaku on. Our front three look clueless

God I wish we would start to coach our players some fluid attacking football and not be dependent on moments of individual brilliance.

It would be good to put on Fred for Rashford at half time.

Playing into Wolves hands so far. They don't make it easy but it's all far too slow and pedestrian. Still think being made to break teams down is an achilles heel for this side.

Hopefully Ole gets into them at half time as the game is on a knife edge at the minute.

Hopefully a better second half for us. Some of the forward players need a rocket up their arse.

    Not bad otherwise.

Our front 3 is just surrounding the box instead of actually getting into the box and making harder to find space. Need to bring Fred in and switch to a diamond.

United not incisive enough, too slow in hitting the box, and are fortunate not to be behind.

    Pogba - too wasteful
Lingard - as good as non existent. But ofcourse he runs right
Rashford - still in poor form. What was that shot?
Matic - lack of mobility kills us. Needs someone to drive us forward.

Too many below average performances out there. Wolves been the better side defending and going forward.

Someone please slap Rashford and tell him he's not Ronaldo. He continues where he left for, atrocious decision making again. Lindelof shaky and Lingard being painfully average as usual.

In the first 5 mins Rashford had a chance to cross to Martial and he was too selfish to pass.

Well...We are controlling possession. That is how you control the game. The problem is, The front 3 are quite obviously lacking match practice/fitness and therefore the possession means nothing because the attacking outlet is failing.

Pogba and Rashford don't look arsed.

The rest of them are playing too cautious.

He has been shot too often for me . If he had a brain he would be up there with Ronaldo .
Hopefully Greenwood will have the talent and brains
Rashford is gash, we need an upgrade upfront if we want to win serious stuff
Reading these posts one would think Rashford is a championship player. Are players not allowed to have bad games? He's only 21 and has already achieved things the vast majority of players his age can only dream of. The top clubs in Europe and in England would snap our fingers off for Rashford.

what's with the short corners though? We literally created a chance for them by messing around at the corners!!

Martial, Rashford, and Lingard in attack are all disappointing. Even more disappointing when you remember those three are 450k/wk on total wages.

Pogba is not as involved as I would like and Martial is cutting a very easy ozie figure. Frustrating half.

I was really thinking we could convert Dalot to a right wing and bring in a new RB in the summer, but this game makes me reconsider.

Rashford needs to be less self indulgent.
    Martial needs to wake up.
Pushing up at corners, leaving us exposed to their counter is not cool. Especially when our corners are pony

Pogba I think has been good.

Rashford has been headless for a while now, needs to play with the team or seat out.
