Everyone on here that over reacts to a loss makes me laugh. Today we played 6 players who haven’t been involved for the last 4-5 weeks and we were playing a very well organised wolves team that are 7th in the league and were at home. I know the united way is we beat anyone anywhere but sometimes fact of the matter is these results happen. So anyone ripping ole or the players maybe just sit back and realise that teams lose games end of.

I know he made some worldie saves but Romero fecked up at his near post so lost most his rating for me, still gave him a 7, would have got a 9. Says a lot though that he is our man of the match even though he let in that shot. Smalling, Shaw and Lindelof were average even with there mistakes. Everyone else was dire.

I just want to know if Ole has the balls to kick the players on their arses after a performance like that. All well and good picking them up, but can he be tough with them when needed? Sir Alex was an absolute master at that. He would have laid into the players after a performance like that. He was loved and respected but very importantly feared as well. Ole has to command that if he wants to be successful here.

Bad performance from everyone including him. Let's see how we perform in two weeks. One thing is for absolute certain - Rashford needs to be dropped. He has been utter gash for a few games now. If Ole cannot see that or make that decision, then maybe he isn't the right man for the job

Just bad all around, from the performances to the tactics. Why can’t we ease players back from injury? Clear today it really threw off our rhythm. We went away from everything that has made us successful, speed and attacking numbers. Consistently passing backwards allowed wolves to settle into their defensive shape and killed any counter attack.

I wasn't confident of victory like most, this team is still miles away from being comfortable in these sort of tricky away games.

Only good thing about this is that we'll definitely beat them at their place in the league now.
What guarantee is there? We need a win there more than we needed an FA cup win.

We need Champions League or forget getting good players to sign

Wolves clearly the tactical winner, we never really figured out how to get past their defensive block and really struggled with their attacks as well. Perfect match from them.

As for us I think Rashford looks a bit jaded and out of form. Against Tottenham he scored from an almost similar chance as the one he got early on in the second half. The rest of the team looked uninspired and static. I'd like to see McTom in for Matic the next match, maybe even Pereira for Herera.

I'd really like to get into that dressing room and ask each player one by one if they actually care that they just got humiliated like that. Because thats how they played today, like they just dont care as long as they pick up their obscene pay packet each week.

It's like they think after the Paris miracle that they just need to show up and teams will roll over and die for us like they do pool and city.

Overreaction maybe but that performance has really boiled my piss. The players need a proper bollocking, fined a months wages, and they need to hang their heads in shame because they have embarrassed the club and the fans tonight.

Fecking wasters.

Just looked totally off the pace with no energy whatsoever. I didn’t see much of the coaching staff on the touchline either.

We just looked flat and lacking in ideas with at least five players half-fit. Dropping McT and Fred looks a bad decision now and when Pogba is nullified he just reverts to his holding on the ball infruruating shite which ruins any speed in our attack.

Wolves played well but not amazing. They just shut us down. Shaw for the second was an embarrassment. First his feeble hook into the box then crumbling to the floor when defending for their goal.

Overall deserved loss and we need some players back to full fitness because clearly Matic, Ander, Rashford, Martial and Lingard are not.

On the plus side, I'd much rather we'd lost to Arse in the cup and won in the league, so if we can do it that way round here I shall be content.

Had bags of possession but did nothing with it. Matic sat way too deep and Pogba was unable to get things going through the middle. Too many niggling fouls spoiled the game too. Again, all our attacks come down the left with the right wing little used. Makes it easy to defend against us if the opposition only have to worry about twi thirds of the pitch. Ole has his work cut out for him this summer. He's got a few years of neglect and poor transfers to put right and I'm wondering if one window will be enough. Also, if we don't get top four, will he still get the job? It cost LVG and Moyes.

Devastated after that. Haven't felt this bad since Ole took over. We had a real chance in the FA Cup and blew it big time. No creativity, no work rate, no energy, no fight.

Yes hilarious. But if this happened under Jose it wouldn’t be pretty in here
I think Ole has earned the right to have a couple of off days thus far. As for Jose, he was afforded a lot of time and patience before most started turning on him.

Worst performance from Ole and the players since he came. The BBC idiots are trying to paint some romantic picture of Wolves performance but that result is on our ineptitude, from the manager starting 4 players that weren't match fit while leaving energy and bite on the benchj, and then the total lack of creativity outside of Pogba was exposed as we had all of the ball for nearly 60 minutes as they had zero ambition beyond the counter, and we created feck all.

Went through the motions, no risk and no desire. Team looked clueless and unfit. The Arsenal Chelsea games look pointless. We have give city a great opportunity to win the lot. Worst performance under Ole, shame to go in to an international break with this but it's about getting ready for the next game. Bad night, questions need to be asked from some of the players.

Small point, but it was disappointing to see Ole and the coaching staff on their arses all game. While I agree with doing your preparation in the dressing room, it has to make some impact, particularly during such a lethargic, tepid performance if your bosses are geeing you up/giving a bollocking.

I honestly think we would have won if any of
Pogba, Martial or Rashford had a less than terrible game. Possible pass for Rashford based on age and if he's carrying an injury, but the other two were wank.
Serious work needs doing in summer and I worry it won't. There's no way Lingard starts this many matches if he wasn't homegrown.
Ugh.

Shit match, and we'll go out to Barcelona.
Citeh cup double/treble, Pool win the league and we hire a manager based on the inevitable bounce that comes with sacking a sociopath and installing a legend.

I'm just going on The Caf
Absolute shocking going forward, sluggish and brainless in possession. Ole needs to wipe the floor with some of them in the dressing room, Martial and Pogba especially.

Worst performance since ole took over Rashford looks right off his game Martial was at his frustrating worst, Lingard a shadow of his recent self and the version of Pogba that looks very ordinary showed up again .
I think they have missed a golden opportunity to get some glory and silverware.
A very defensive bench didn’t help our cause with no one to turn to with the forward firing blanks , we mist always have forward options on the bench even if it’s one of the kids

Disgutted.
It was clear to me for awhile now that this SAF-esqe run we’ve been on, was absolute overachievement.
The team isn’t there yet, some of the players are not good enough.

Anybody else think that if Neves was playing for us, and made that tackle on Lingard while on a yellow... that somebody might have mentioned it?

Too many players com8ng back from injury. When I saw the lineup I thought “really..?”

Should have had some more legs in the middle. Didn’t see Pogba able to go forward and influence.

I would have made our first sub lingard and pushed Pogba further forward.

Live and learn

2 shots at goal (1 of them goal). This was not on Romero. We were terrible, yes we will strike back but we are not winning anything this year. Hopefully we get the 4th in the league. So disappointed...

I’m not too bothered but I hope that there is a reaction for the run-in. It’s all been a bit too much and top 4 is critical.

Matic and Shaw particularly we’re firing balls into Martial and Rashford for no reason, just play the simple pass ffs. Pogba was holding the ball too long, and Ander passes back too much. We just looked off and rusty which was weird considering we had time to rest after the Arsenal game.

First half I can take, second was absolutely pathetic, no grit, no determination, not from the players, not from the coaching staff. Where were youth players, why so late with substitutions?

Dig up stupid!
Did OK for half hour but very quickly ran out of legs.

Looked devoid of ideas and we were completely anonymous up front

Even when behind we offered little urgency.

I'd say this one falls heavily on the the shoulders of OGS - and say this knowing will get endless crap for it because he has done everything right so far. But, this and the Arsenal game, he didn't seem to have the any will to change things till after we conceded. It was clear we were not a threat with at least the way we were setup, Rashford was useless up front, Martial was doing nothing on the left, Lingard was not an influence at all in that floating role. He had options all around to switch it up to at least give Wolves something else to think about but, just sat there and hoped rather than influencing it with some tactical changes.

Don't mind losing but, not like that - not when we didn't even really try, players and coaching staff.

Hopefully this is the wake up call all around, 8 games to go in the league and we cannot give another performance like that.

Wake up call I think for Ole and the coaches, just shows how well he's done with the squad so far. We didn't really have a clue how to break them down with the players we had available, very slow build up, not a tremendous amount of movement. I still feel that Pogba should play further forward, in the point of a diamond, he has the guile around the box to conjure up something. Wolves were brilliant by the way, they looked like a team who new the system, new their jobs within that system, and kept working for 90 minutes. Martial and Lingard certainly looked off the pace, although Martial looked better later on, Herrera did ok, but was getting annoyed, Rashford looks like he needs a break.

They were the better team, more organized and wanted it more, hope Ole takes notes and go back and beat them in the league. That what matters now.
