Feels like a fitness issue, this.

Rashford's looked like he's been lacking in the fitness department since the Liverpool game, Matic doesn't look ready for first team football yet, and neither did Herrera, Martial and Lingard tonight. With Ole's system requiring quick transitions and a high press, having five players looking unfit just won't cut it.

Pogba was poor, and he's not looking like he's going to grab a game by the scruff of its neck when the rest of the team is static. He needs movement around him to be able to combine and create space, and tends to revert to dribble-everyone-all-by-himself-mode when the rest of the team isn't on song. In essence, with more than half the team not performing, how are we supposed to beat the seventh-placed team in the league?

Thought we started okay but we allowed them to grow into the game and ultimately it was a very tame performance from us. Lacking in energy/effort. Our attackers were very ineffective, Martial in particular I felt was constantly losing the ball. This was our best opportunity to win a trophy this season, so to out in a performance of that quality is very unacceptable.

Very disappointing. Possibly too many players coming back in the same match but the overall performance was poor.

Sadly this leg of an unwelcome potential quadruple has opened up for the Berties.

Tough game to watch. Nothing worked. Wolves were well drilled and handled everything that came at them.

We looked tired and unorganized. Possibly allowing too many players to come back all at once had something to do with it, dunno. Whatever it was, Ole has a couple of weeks to figure it out and hopefully finish the season strong.

There are games where Pogba is responsible for 100% of the creativity and you only need to mark him out of the game to make it impossible for United.

Ole should have stuck to the winning team against PSG, then change if they lost, the team spirit and morale was so high, why change it, let them have another go.

Didn't mind the Arsenal result because of the performance but this was a proper throwback to the dark days under Van Gaal and Moyes in terms of how utterly impotent we looked.

Surprised he did not bring Fred on. He always has a lot of energy and its something we needed tonight.

In the 2 games when we have played Wolves this season they have completely outplayed us.

The league might suggest we are above them but we all know who the better team is.

France - can't win anything with Swedish turnips
Even first half but poor second half.

Had no answer to Wolves playing so deep, Martial and Rashford so little to feed off, one of the few decent balls in and we score in the 95th minute.
Too slow and no invention.
Poor matches from Lingard, Matic and Lindelof who was lucky not to get the red card.

Thought the two better players, Romero and Shaw both made mistakes for Wolves 2nd goal.

We didn't deserve to win, probably worst match under Ole.

So he should ahve used Fred,Mct or Pereira... not much of an excuse

Back to normal post SAF performances. Been that way for a while actually. PSG aside.

Been scraping results.
Agreed, PSG was different team, Rashford, Lingard, Martial have been poor/without form for a while, and it starts to catch up, we had a great run but things could start to look real grim real soon .. again

I think we played too many players coming back from injury. Matic, Herrera, Lingard and Martial were all really poor today. Not even close to match sharpness. The bizarre thing is, the only time that Rashford had some decent service, he actually scored. Greenwood should have been available as a sub for Martial. I can really see City doing the 4 cups now. We helped them by taking Chelsea, Arsenal and PSG out of the way.

Hugely disappointing & realistically blown the only chance for silverware. Shocking sluggish performance with no ideas whatsoever. No desire to pick yourselves up & hit the oppo.

Bad day, no progress from Arsenal. Diamond with Lingard behind the front 2 didnt work at all
Completely different to the arsenal match. We were unlucky there, but put some good moves together. There wasn't a single good performance from our outfield players today, they were incapable of making the most routine of passes for 90 minutes and overcomplicated everything in tandem with that.

Those corner routines were ridiculous, and ended up costing us, dragging fullbacks completely out of position just so they could pass it to someone else five yards further down the wing instead of putting a ball into the box.

Our worst performance probably after Liverpool and West Ham. There were almost no positives from that match. Rashford has had as many poor games as good games under Solskjær now. Pogba was ineffective. So was Martial but he's playing 90 minutes after coming back from injury. Lingard I was told had come back from injury but was nowhere to be seen.

We only scored because it was the 95th minute and Wolves rightfully thought they had done enough. Didn't even bother to press Shaw for the goal.

Solskjær made a similar mistake as in the 1st leg against PSG. Too many players starting that weren't match fit. It was just so lackluster and shite.

Completely outplayed, verging on humiliation when Wolves were knocking the ball around towards the end. Pogba and Rashford (despite the well taken last minute goal) both poor. Martial and Lingard off the pace. General lack of energy throughout the team. Looks like the effort against PSG has taken it out of us. This will be a test of OGS's ability to lift the team after two successive comprehensive defeats. Hope he can but at the moment I'm thinking God help us against Barcelona.

Captain Pogba, Lindelof, Lingard absolute garbage. Shaw was one of our better players yet he fecked up and cost us the game. Rashford was bad yet had some good moments and came up with the goal. Ole paid the price for being too slow to react today. Lingard should have been out at half time yet he managed to last up till the 86th minute.

Mourinho out. This was awful. Oh, wait....
Players out. This is on them.

Seriously, this was knock out game. Best chance for trophy. Against fecking Wolves(they are solid team but still...). I am so pissed. You can lose in league like this, bad day can happen but in knock out game it is unacceptable.

I'd have preferred McTominay ahead of Matic, but the others aren't going to contribute much to Ole's system either, so he's in a bit of a shit spot here until the transfer window where he can bring some more players suited to his system in.

With so few good squad options to just walk in and perform in a system, sometimes you just need to let players play their way to match fitness and hope you pick up results along the way. We didn't today, that's life. Yeah, tonight fecking sucks but (past weeks) United weren't beating City to the title anyway.

Tactically wrong. Very Lethargic. Too many players thrown in after injury.

Worst performance under Ole easily.

Felt Shaw and Dalot, got totally left exposed with no protection in front of them and no real wide men to push Wolves' fullbacks back.

Martial and Lingard pathetically poor today. Rashford was incredibly wasteful, in spite of his goal.

Such a depressing match :(

Once again, OGS is too slow to react with subs. 30-40 minutes too late.

Rubbish. Pogba so disappointing, Martial presumably injured in training and never made it on to the pitch.

Vital we see how Ole copes and we respond though - all managers can win well.. If things are going to come off the rails I'd much rather know this season rather than next. Not that I think things will - he's generally doing great - but if they do..

Our problems weren't magically fixed by a new manager. Shock horror.

Ole has some things to learn but a lot of this is just structural issues with the squad. People lapped up the new manager bounce so they could say they were right it was all just the manager

Knew when we drew Wolves it was always going to be a tough game and today showed that.

They sit back and counter. Would have been nice to see us sit back and hit them on the counter, but today we kept possession without threatening.

People will start saying Ole's honeymoon period is over. Bull shit! We've had two very tough back to back away games.

International break has probably come at the right time in that we can regroup, get some of our players back and go again.

Here, there, everywhere...
One of the worst, if not the worst, performance of the season. I don't think there is even one player who comes out with any credit here. Even Romero, who made a couple of good saves, was feeble for their second.

- I don't know what Rashford's instructions are, but all he has done the last few games is do stupid tricks and take nonsense shots. Thinks he is much better than he actually is.
- Another big game, another shoddy performance from Pogba.
- Martial would have rather stayed home and made more babies.
- the midfield two were atrocious. That Smalling made the most useful passes in the game says it all.
- Dalot is not a very good defender.
- Shaw's attacking output leaves a lot to be desired.

The honeymoon is well and truly over. Out of the FA cup, will most likely get thrashed by Barca in the CL and will be 6th if Chelsea win or draw tomorrow; and will likely remain there for the rest of the season given our fixtures.

The style of play has been regressing constantly. The wheels seems to be coming off. Very disappointing. Ole's needs to get them back running again; they are falling back into the old bad habits. The fixture list post the international break is scary.

Entire team played like they were on tranquillisers, no energy or fight, just hopeless. The sort of performance that could finish our season unfortunately.
