fecking joke. Sell any one of them for all I care. Start over with younger players. Could bin Pogba, Lingard, Mata, Sanchez, Herrera (hurts to say but since he has agreed with PSG..) Smalling, Jones, Young, Rojo, Lukaku. DDG head has gone too. feck this squad.

If Europa League is what it takes for the club to wake up and realise the need to spend big on top quality, then that’s perfectly okay with me. Bet Ed would think we wouldn’t need much investment if we reached the Champions League anyway because OGS is a magician and Jones and Young can name their prices in that head of his.

Very wasteful I must say, particularly Lingard and Lukaku.

If we want to be a very good team then we can't have 7 of that starting 11.
Thought that myself, the list of players I’d like to keep out of our first 11 is actually smaller than the feck off list.

Controversial opinion: I wouldn’t be that arsed if we lose DDG and Pogba in the summer.

Didn’t watch the match, how was the general performance?
Performance was good, don't listen to all the negative morons on here. Wolves were absolute shite and we were unlucky as feck. Missed five clear cut chances and got a red card out of nothing. All Wolves chances came from clear mistakes from our players. No way we deserved to lose that one.

We should enjoy losing against Barcelona... our last Champions league games for a while probably

Very difficult to explain how we lost. Totally dominant for 25 minutes. And again turning the screw until we got down to 10 men. And after the send off still the more attempts. They literally had one chance and took it. So frustrating.

Should have been 3 up by half an hour. We actually did beat ourselves tonight. Wolves were tidy as we expect but not really up to much.

Missed chances, handing them two goals, pogba as bad as I've ever seen him. Cant blame Ole for any of those. The tactical set up was good enough.

Worrying times. We need our form back and we need it fast.

We didn't play that bad and controlled large parts of the game plus we should have been 2 or 3 up before they scored a goal that was a gift from our totally shit defence.
And the rest of the game is history.

I've said it on other threads but we need 4 top players in and 3 of them should be defenders.

Lack of quality in the squad really started to make itself felt once again. It's beyond bizarre how some of these players are still lining up for us years after it became apparent they've no business at United.

It's knee jerk to say players who've served up shit for 6 years now aren't good enough isn't it.

We just dont seem to be able to beat wolves. Great first 20 minutes, best start to a game for a while. Wolves looked awful and there for the taking, then we let them back into it and lost control of the game. Once they scored they took control and they are very solid in defence. We still had enough chances to get a result.
Top 4 is looking dodgy now but the fact we are even in the fight for top 4 is credit to ole and we should not loose sight of that.

Any player distracted by contracts or whatever else can leave now.

Not much blame for me for Ole. Young and his stupidity - should have been replaced already but Mourinho loved him. Lukaku again missing chances in a crucial match. De Gea completely distracted. Play Romero.

Feel bad for Fred as he started very well.

Well done to McTominay I'd keep him playing for the rest of the season.

Very obvious where we need to upgrade so shouldn't be difficult in the upcoming transfer season.

Otherwise, we'll just have to win the CL:D

I was for Mourinho leaving, and I still believe it's the right decision. Ole has done a superlative job thus far, however, Mourinho's criticism of the players holds some merit in light of the schizophrenic performance levels put out by the current squad. How these players can go from direct, incisive and dangerous to indirect, indecisive and calamitous is beyond me.

Young's sending off did unfortunately change the game a little. We were by no means good with eleven men, but with ten men, coupled with our infamous zombie-esque off-ball movement, we had no chance.

McTominay did himself proud. All those who said dropping him for Matic after performing so well beforehand, were right.

Individual errors cost us big time. Fred, Young and De Gea.

Very poor going forward too.

Wolves are horrible to play against.

I thought we were unlucky to lose that, Wolves didn't do much at all and we had chances, but it was again quite a poor performance despite that. So many loose passes, one which led to Young's red, and our play was far too slow at times. It wasn't why we lost but I was surprised Solskjaer took Lukaku off when we were on top but struggling to create, he's probably our biggest goal threat and more of an option to get on the end of crosses, but that being said this one falls largely on the players several of whom aren't good enough and another few of whom weren't good enough tonight.

Very very poor.
The mentality of these players baffles me.

Serious overhaul needed.

When MCtominay is arguably the best player you know things are bad.

Didn’t think we deserved to lose that one. Played well in patches but was punished for missed chances. Should have been home and dry in first 20min, then stupid mistake from Fred let’s them back in it. Then when on top and given the chance to retake the lead we go down to 10 men. Ridiculous really.

Struggling for form now. With Arsenal flying and tough competition from Spurs and Chelsea, top 4 might slip away.

Hope, We Lose
On the plus side we found our replacement for the player our previous manager spent so much time and effort trying to hold onto

Roll on next week, got embarrassed by a f tech Barca. The chuckle brothers and Young can't be relied on. That there okay stuff needs to stop, it's like groundhog day. Bad performance by too many again. Doubt we'll get top 4 now, shame. When your on top away from home you need to be clinical.

We haven't got a striker. Lukaku technically is our only striker and he veers to the wings alot. When he goes off I can't see us scoring unless from a set piece. We need a poacher badly. Hernandez from 2011 would be ideal

The players just have no game management whatsoever. Never have under any manager since SAF so it’s quite difficult to blame all of them. There’s such a lack of intelligence in how they play games.

I have always a bad feeling in the game when we are sloppy in finishing. It's our fault if we cannot make it into the top 4.

Looking over my shoulder.
Our strikers and lack of finishing cost us then game. You cannot miss 4 sitters and get away with it. The defense was vulnerable. Smalling had a bad game, but ultimately our attack let us down.

The honeymoon period is well and truly over. A must win game turned into a defeat. We really do have a broken team, filled with average players that have no place in this club anymore. Yet, they are awarded with new contracts.

Absolute garbage tonight, and the top 4 is gone for this season. Absolutely no way we are getting it, and it all started with the Arsenal defeat.

The board has to take a good hard look at our squad. Last season I was fuming at our fullbacks. I was gobsmacked when we entered the new season without buying a proper fullback. This can't continue another season. This summer will be massive for us and will show the owners and the boards true intentions with this football club. Ole is in for a ride.

Score one of the chances we had early and this would be a completely different game. Instead of that we give away a goal and our captain gets himself sent off. It is what it is.

It shows that we have feck all depth, which would be difficult but not impossible to address in the summer, but now that we might loose Herrera for free and likely won't have CL football to offer (which also might have an effect on us losing players) this just became daunting.

Hopefully everything goes well and we're back in a couple of years or we manage to get top4 this season, but after the last few seasons, I'm not optimistic.

I used to say this and say it now, we will never be the dominant team playing counter-attacking football.

Wolves are a good team, but we gifted that to them today. We had numerous good chances today but blew them.

Really frustrating game to watch.

This is a really bad result and the performance isn´t good enough yet again. We are going to play in the EL next season because this team simply is not better than that as we lack quality players in to many positions. We need to win every last game in the league to secure top 4 now and this means beating city at home. The players have let the club and fans down this season in the league and they have nothing to hide behind in terms of excuses as it is simply too many poor performances over the season.

Not worried about this season, top 4 is gone I think, has been since the Arsenal game and our general form. I can't help but wonder what next season brings.

This loss is not on Ole since I felt that he learnt from the last wolves defeat and had a proper plan for this game which the players nearly put it to perfection at the start . But one mistake led to a self implosion of major proportions with the players missing sitters and our 2 most expensive players having a mare .
It isn't on him, but he now has to just tell Young to go, sell Pogba unless he shows some resolve for the rest of the season, get a striker with some resemblance of a first touch. The task he has is gargantuan.
