Please make it stop.
Ronaldo PlayStation mentality. He does it because he will nail one or two out of forty in training and banter with the lads that he can bang. The whole technique is arrogant as feck. "I'm going to hit this ball in a completely random way and hope for the best" vs someone else with actually thought behind their attempt.
Cardiff and Celta Vigo away is the only ones I can think of.Shockingly bad. The commentators always talk about hos fabulous fks. I genuinely can't remember him ever scoring one, has he?
Hmm can't remember any of them. Did he smash them like that or try and place them?Cardiff and Celta Vigo away is the only ones I can think of.
Who isn't good at free kicks either.Ronaldo wannabe
Ole should have stopped it a long time ago. Basic tactical decision. Please make it stop.
That is part of the problem.Shockingly bad. The commentators always talk about hos fabulous fks. I genuinely can't remember him ever scoring one, has he?
Even Ronaldo struggles with the Ronaldo technique.Has he ever scored using the “ronaldo” technique?
He’s dreadful
Because no one in management has told him to cut that bullshit out. If he was successful with it, no worries, but he sure isn’t.Even Ronaldo struggles with the Ronaldo technique.
I don't know why "Rashy" is even trying to copy it.
Hmm can't remember any of them. Did he smash them like that or try and place them?
Yeah, Pereira isnt bad, he can take a good freekick and cross. But Rashford is the 'star' nowOur free kicks are supposed to be an advantage to us, but teams can foul us knowing they'll just get the ball back so they know they cam just foul us with impunity.
Isn't Andreas a specialist? I know he never plays but I'm sure we had a few free kicks with him on the pitch recently and the punter took it instead, its infuriating.
There must be someone who is better at freekicks than him at the club.I think he's got good technique and power, but the accuracy is off. Practice practice practice.
This was apparently done last week (along with chats with Martial, Pogba, & a couple others), OGS sat down with them individually to offer a reality check to each.I love Rashford, I want him to reach his potential but it’s not just his free kicks, it’s his whole game right now.
There’s no doubt he has the tools to be a top player but I wonder if, in his head, he thinks he is already one.
Time for Ole to sit him down for a chat, maybe show him some videos of his play and free kicks, clear dose of reality needed here.
