Now that we are out of top 4 Liverpool had better not win the league. I mean isn’t that we sacrificed?

No CL football as expected. We need top class management otherwise another 6 years of top 4 battles can be expected.

That has got to be one of the most embarrassing performances I have seen from the team. I'm usually very patient with regards to the teams development and results, sometimes you are beaten by an absolute top side or you go away to quality opposition who run themselves into the ground and get a bit of luck, that is forgivable. Huddersfield are rubbish, sorry they are, they run around a bit but simply have so little quality, their position and results this year show that. So to put in such a horrific display of football coming from a side full to the brim with internationals on huge contracts is unforgivable.

Everything was wrong from the players today, the attitude was horrendous, the concentration was non existent. Sick of watching Pogba, who is one of my favourite players in the team, who is on paper the most talented player in the team, hold onto the ball for far too long, lose the ball in stupid situations and put in no effort to track back. Why we gave Jones a new contract is beyond me, he is a decent player but not good enough for United. Rashford was so poor, I can almost forgive him as he is blatantly still injured and has no business playing football right now. The only player who comes out of that with any credit is Scott who did work very hard today and deserved a goal.

I don't know how much blame is to be put at Ole's door. Some of the results are understandable, he shouldn't be marked down for losing to Barca, City or drawing to Chelsea, but there is no hiding from the the fact that results are dire. I'm not really seeing much wrong in terms of style of play or tactics, I feel the intent is good. I still think the players are unfit, lack skill and in some cases not putting in enough effort but I don't blame the supporters who think that we hired Ole too soon.

Going forwards, this team does need to be dismantled completely and hope it reflects in the Cardiff game. This collective reeks of failure and mediocrity, it needs to be ripped apart.

We have no business in the CL, so can't feel too pissed about the prospect of our inclusion in a mediocre, European, club, tournament, next year; especially given that we are most certainly a mediocre European ( Brexit not withstanding ) club.

Really disappointed. We should have these two games to end the season well. But the whole team just looks so clueless

I think that's basically what seems to have happened. And somehow, it worked for the first 3 months. Then it stopped working.
Basically, he worked on the players' psyche.
Nothing of the sort.
The lazy gits just pulled their fingers out for a few matches then reverted to type.

The only way I would be in any way understanding of our recent form would be if it came out that Ole has been working them to the absolute bone in training in a long term plan and has forsaken the end of the season even when we still had a chance at top 4 and were in Europe.

Thing is though if that were the case I would've expected to see certain patterns and habits improve in our play even if the players struggled physically, but even very basic things have taken a real nose dive and if anything it seems like as soon as we had a glimmer of anything to play for the entire mentality collapsed.

Our captain marvel wants to come back next season and 'go again'! If he is lining up in the team in any game next season it will tell you everything you need to know about the shambles Utd are.

We desperately need to move away from expensive mercenaries wanting to only play CL football, and really half of the 25+ squad needs to go to make room for some youngsters and new signings.

Who in their right mind would go to OT next week to support these players after not being able to beat one of the worst teams in PL history?
Those of us who are going to to go every single game we can whatever the situation. The same reason teams lower down the table have a good followings every single week despite not being in contention for anything for decades at a time.

Absolutely pathetic again. Huddersfield are a terrible Premier League team and we just strolled about apart from the start and the end when we needed to win AGAIN.

Fear for Ole big time to be honest.

We've won 2 in 11 games?

Over 11 games this must be our worst form in about 30 years.

I can't ever remember anything this bad in my lifetime watching Utd.

Never thought a campaign would end as pathetic as Moyes. That Huddersfield side is one of the worst premier league sides ever, says so much for us at the moment. Least United can't ruin anymore weekends for a while.

Today might be the worst I've ever felt about United since Fergie has gone:

- Looking like Ole just doesn't have it. Him high fiving Rashford at the end of the game didn't sit well with me. Rashford has been an arrogant disgrace for months, he shouldn't be enabled by Ole to act like that.

- No faith at all in the Summer recruitment plan: Ole says there will only be 2-3 incomings which is nowhere near enough. Plus with no CL we are limited to what players we can get. We will buy bad anyways.

- Woodward and the Glazers are just parasites and we will never be a top team again while they are here.

In all the previous years no matter how bad it got, you couldn't help but feel we would get it right eventually. Now today for the first team I'm in defeat that we won't. A sad, sad day.
I have to agree to all of this, specifically Rashy thing, my God it disgusts me how Ole treats him like he is Ronaldo, he is shite and he might be worse than Welbeck too, His body language is absolute disgrace, him being manager favourite is telling a damn lot about the manager. Things go from bad to worse here and I think it reached the bottom.

That’s it!

Play the kids in the last game. Herrera and McT should start
Mata played intelligently
Pogba- last match
DDG- send to goalkeeping classes
Shaw- fat camp and sprint training with Darren Campbell
Matic- goodbye
Young - see Matic
Jones- bell end. Swap for anything at cash converters

Every negative word can be applied to this team. Spineless, toothless, cowards, no heart, useless, bottlers, muppets...
Cant say no talent because they have it but whats the point of talent without heart. Maybe they all need a trip down the yellow brick road

I’ve never disliked a United squad more.

No effort, not massive amounts of ability, nothing.

Ole is also failing to motivate them which is being massively overlooked

Only 4 more years of Jones. We need to cherish this limited amount of time we have with this fantastic footballer.

I'm actually convinced after watching that, that some of the players have fallen out with Ole or Phelan, it just has that same feeling as the last games of Jose again, when some of the players had clearly stopped playing for him.
I think it's just the quality of the players mostly, although Keane said something similar to what you said. If you have Rashford up top as a striker with Sanchez supporting him then you're in trouble.

The English core of this defence is rank.

Pathetic. Don't these cxxts realise theyre playing for their futures at United, or do they simply not give a shit and would prefer to go elsewhere? Well, Id prefer to see every single player who started today, with the possible exception of Rashford, Lindleof, McTominay and DeGea, go elsewhere too, but who in his right mind would want them? This bunch of players have to be the most useless, lazy, uninterested, uncaring and most over rated in Uniteds history, let alone being the most over paid. Ole has got a job on his hands to rebuild the team and he will need every bit of help from Woodward, the Glaziers and the directors he can get. This is the most down and pessimistic Ive felt about our future since we were relegated in 1974.

Why pay the Glazers money? You are part of the problem by doing that, but hey

I sincerely hope that this game has made it crystal clear to Ole that we must clear out players that are simply not good enough for a club like United.

We are stuck in the past. Playing academy graduates even though they are not good enough and appointed a fan favourite ex player who may well be out of his depth. I love Ole but lets be honest he has nowhere near the experience to sort this shit out. 10 games in next season and he'll be gone.

Well said my friend especially about Woodward and our wonderful owners.
I feel absolutely the same.
Being a Manchester United fan is rapidly becoming depressing.
