I can't believe a coaching team of Ole, Phelan, Carrick and McKenna are out of their depth coaching wise?

I love Ole, but I honestly think the club needs to think of the bigger picture at this point. It's a big gamble to continue with Ole, I don't think the board really understood how bad this squad actually is until now.

Do we stick with a risky option in Ole or do we actually bring in someone experienced with rebuilding a squad? Safe or risky? You surely have to go with the safe option at this point, not sure you can really afford to mess this window up.

But if we do bring a new Manager in we have to continue with the plan of rebuilding the squad this Summer. No more of this bullshit "im going to analyse for a season then rebuild". Do it straight away.

It's the players, not the manager...

No no no...

It's the manager, not the players....

So sick and tired of football at the moment. No joy whatsoever.

I think it's a combination of everything.

Keep the revolving door of managers going and enjoy the new manager bounce a few times per season.

I'm thinking it was the players putting in extra effort after Mou was sacked, don't think Ole had much to do with it
So it's not the players fault they're not giving the same effort they put in when they actually looked like a proper United team?

Spin the wheel again, can't put such a crucial rebuild in to the hands of an unknown who has had us in relegation form. Sorry Ole but I'm sure he knows he'd make that decision if he was boss.

Sack.

I was so so wrong on both him and Poch. No shame. I'll admit it now than waiting for more evidence.

Throw whatever money we have at Poch and let him rebuild the squad in summer.

Bad thing is, Ole does not really have any top level experience, and United dont have a top level team to let him make harmless mistakes neither.

Do we have any potential replacement?

I'm now thinking that the early form was a combination of players want to prove Mourinho wrong and coaching of Carrick/Mckenna.

I worry that this summer might set us back even further.

Think the last month or two will be in the board’s mind and may not back Solksjaer fully in the summer and we’ll find that our team will be very similar to the one we’ve seen struggle this season.

Sack him and put Woody in charge of transfers while we sort out a DOF and new manager? The club is already a mess as it is.

Under a tree.
I confused what is he supposed to do without a transfer window? Theres too many fanboys of the players who refuse to acknowledge there a massive amount of trash in our sqaud that no manager could turn them into a top team again

I'd probably say sack him but there's so much wrong at every level of the club that it wouldn't matter what manager we brought in, we'd still be shite until there's a massive overhaul from top to bottom.

He's not the problem but he's not the solution either. Sack if we can get Poch in.

Wow. That has to be, for a variety of reasons, probably the worst season in the (or my...) memory of following Manchester Utd for more than 20 years.

Ole is, whether he likes it or not, now under pressure, and all eyes will now be looking at him. Because that team, squad really, stopped playing for him. And some of the reason for that MUST rest with him.

I do not want to hear this nonsense about them all being 'great lads'. He has been saying since he arrived, and look at things.

Sack - but no manager is going to succeed here as long as Woodward and the current structure are in place.

He's not the problem but he's not the solution either.
This is exactly how I see it.

I want to see what he does for the summer. He doesn't need to spend £200m, but he needs to have the balls to move at least 5-6 players on.

Does it matter? Club is run by clowns. They're going to feck it up regardless.

How do we rationalise the incredible form of his first 10-15 games? I’ve never seen two spells of form so polarised.

The wins away at Chelsea, Arsenal, PSG, even Spurs were examples of astute tactical plans executed clinically. Make no mistake that we displayed title challenging form for that period of the season.

How do we suddenly look so rudderless and is there any hope of returning to our best form next season?

Imagine attributing that early run of form to anything other than an emotional bounce. And then imagine watching how poorly Ole’s had us playing for nearly two months and saying we need to give the guy hundreds of millions and a couple windows.

The players have played under 3-4 managers and some of the same ones are still stinking the place.

If they waited he wouldn’t be manager now that’s a fact.

So do they stick with him to save face, putting us (a multi billion pound organisation) in even further trouble or do they admit the mistake and move him on?

What a fecking mess. I love Ole but I’m just not sure he’s capable of the job being asked.
