Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
People will criticise Watford but they’ve not even played bad. City just put in arguably their performance of the season, they’d have hammered basically any team today.
Really?

I think Watford have been shite (and City decent).

Poor tactics, negative, individual mistakes, late subs. Waste of a cup final opportunity.

The good think about this drubbing is that it just helps to highlight for future generations the big asterisk next to anything they win.

English football has got what it wanted. Manchester United completely fecked and now they have to watch City win everything for the next 20 years.

Watford are disgusting and should be ashamed of themselves for not even putting a fight in a fecking cup final.

Look at City and how relentless they are. Would we even go for the second if we were 1 up?

Didn't the likes of Kompany, D. Silva, Fernandinho and Aguero all play in the 2013 final?

I think for all the wealth that's the difference in mentality. Man. City were awful that day and Wigan fully deserved the win. Winning the league they could've easily tried to win this in third gear. Mind you maybe this is them in second gear.

Difficult to see how their standards will slip considerably in near future.
They spent the best part of a billion before Pep and it was always their intention, as early as 2012 to get him in. So they changed their whole infrastructure to get him in place. It's unprecedented and no other manager can or will ever be afforded that luxury.

It's good planning but the moment they hired him any idea of them becoming the 'story' or romanticism attached to their story died out.

Losing 6-0 in a cup final and only two yellow cards, Watford are mugs.
Shame it wasn’t 10, would’ve never happened if they were managed by Big Sam or Pulis.
Absolute joke of a performance.
Nice suit though...

1 - We use it as a defence mechanism because of years of being abused for it. Is that ok for you? There's no horrible intent and if that's the best you have for us then we're obviously doing pretty well.

2 - Not a fan of Levy, but holy shit the abuse you're giving a chairman for spending within a clubs means. He's actually built us up sustainably without being a huge crook funnelling money in to the club via your torture endorsing owners. Honestly sat here grinning at the fact that the fan of a club owned by a tinpot dictatorship is trying to pass moral judgement. Your club is literally a plaything for a bunch of horrific people who commit horrific acts and use you to try and deflect attention from said acts. Well done.

3 - Yeah, it's called building up a club the normal way, which requires hard work and doesn't give you instant success and trophies. You have trophies because you're backed by a state and you're parading it around as if it's some huge achievement which couldn't have happened to anybody else. There's nothing special about the way you gained success, it would be like praising your friend for winning the lottery. You don't have to worry about spending because you fake revenue, hence why you might get banned from Europe.

4 - There's vitriol because clubs like you have ruined football, not because I care about or respect the trophies you've won. Of course I'm angry that clubs like you are allowed to exist and cheat the system, what sane football fan wouldn't be annoyed about that? The playing field has been torn up and burned to the ground, look at this joke excuse for a final. English football is a mess because of the ridiculous advantage you hold over everybody else.

5 - But holy shit, at least you and PSG still can't do shit all in Europe. That's still hilarious, what is it a couple of billion spent between you now? All those petrodollars not quite leading to the biggest prize in club football, long may it fecking continue.
1 - A defence mechanism? For real, even though tons of jewish people said it offensive and even Chelsea asked you not to do it at their ground, where you told them to feck off.

2 - Spending £0 is all you can afford? please you know even with the stadium thats not true. Levy is a brilliant businessman but he's a tight bastard.

3 - See Villarreal for how thats going to work out. You might when a trophy here or there (hell I hope you win the CL) but sustainable trophies is impossible for clubs outside of Liverpool, United, Arsenal without huge investment. We'll see when this whole Spurs thing pays off with consistent trophies. It's not done anywhere else in Europe why would it with Spurs. As a football fan and for your more reasonable supporters on here I'd like to see it work actually, but I know it won't.

4 - So you do care? Why did you say no one cares when you do?

5 - Can't do shit? Fair enough we underachieved but we were an inch from the semi's and probably final this year, not too mention the 50/50 handball on Llorente. Underachieved? Absolutely.
If we never win it I couldn't care, I'll enjoy it if we do. If Uefa feck us out, I won't cry I actually said they should if we're guilty. If we go back to League 1 I still won't care because its only football. Unlike your good self I don't get wound up, angry or overly excited about it so digs like that are pointless. Anyway we're about to life the net spend trophy... sorry an actual real trophy so I gotta get back to the match.

This is ruthless from City.

The thing is City completely deserve this margin of victory and they've missed quite a few simple chances- ones you'd expect them to finish. Additionally, Kun did not even make an appearance.

The worst thing about City's success is having to keep hearing that overrated shite Wonderwall.
