He's guilty of...being himself. What a terrible crime. That is the worst thing about it... some of those rival players are, despite being rival players, more likeable than Lingard.

Pogba gets it far worse and is that not a similar crime? While at least having some output on the field. He's guilty of...being himself. What a terrible crime.
Guilty of being a crap football player that's for sure. He's guilty of...being himself. What a terrible crime.
The players are the stars of a multi-billion-pound business; given that context, it's pointless moaning about salaries. At least when rival players make us a laughing stock, we don't pay them millions to do so.
How do you know?Lingard not so much, he takes everything for a joke.
Well that is ridiculous and exactly what we criticised Liverpool for with their defence of Suarez.Guilty of being a crap football player that's for sure.
if he was any good no one would care what he did off the pitch.
How about stay away from social media when they are performing hopelessly? The more i see them, the more i'm reminded by how rubbish they have been, yet they are going about posting brain dead cryptic messages like they're superstars. Surely you can see why it would wind people up?What do you want them to do apart from consistently try?
If they are not as good as other old players it doesn’t mean we can just abuse them. It creates a completely toxic atmosphere.
Yeah well, that's unfortunate too.Pogba gets it far worse
Still 21.Does Lingard consider himself a young player? He's not.
They recently posted about a charity event and got loads of shit about being “tossers” for example. Would you rather them not post about charity occasions? How about stay away from social media when they are performing hopelessly? You base this on what?
I've posted the answer to this question in this thread xHow do you know?
Way too high though.Judging by this thread, maybe it was to signify the percentage of non toxic fans left in the United fanbase.

There are immensely stupid people all over the world. I don't think anyone should have to adjust their lives to please them. How about stay away from social media when they are performing hopelessly? I think that Paul Pogba is actually himself. Even young Pogba was about those weird haircuts, dancing and all those other things he does. Jesse Lingard became JLingz the fashion icon and social media influencer out of nowhere.Pogba gets it far worse and is that not a similar crime? While at least having some output on the field.
They shouldn't stay away from Instagram just becuase your life is sad enough that you get wind up by Instagram posts. How about stay away from social media when they are performing hopelessly? Jlingz mostly looks like Jesse Lingard is playing a brand...
The state of this post. You don't know any of the lads personally and has done a psycho analysisI think that Paul Pogba is actually himself. Probably would have kept him as a squad player and used him a decent amount, just like he used the likes of O'Shea, Park, Brown, Fletcher, Phil Neville, Cleverley, Darren Gibson, Anderson and so many others over the years as squad players. Players who work hard in training and give their all on the pitch, especially those who came through the youth academy, those who don't complain regardless of the role they have... Yeah, Fergie loved those and you know he would've loved Lingard as well.Wonder how Sir Alex would have dealt with that muppet Lingard. Besides offloading him that is.
So from that you've concluded he takes everything as a joke?I've posted the answer to this question in this thread x
It really is quite hilarious, he has done nothing to warrant such a high opinion of himself and unfortunately now this seems to be spreading to Rashford which is a concern. While I think the criticism they got for the clothes they wore was unwarranted, This is the 3rd Social Media post involving Lingard in 2 weeks:
1) The 'we are the new generation' rubbish, when he has had a shocking season
2) The brand logo on the Manchester tribute post
3) This.
Lingard frankly isn't anywhere near the level of being worth this amount of rubbish. Can't wait till we get rid of him tbh.

Not really, i think it was in a interview somewhere once. Ill see if i can find it.What on Earth.
I have never seen a more mental post. You’ve just made up a completely fabricated account of both personalities that you have no way of knowing.
We've had a miserable season, this was bound to happen. Many fans aren't just dissapointed but angry as well. Tbh I don't like their personalities, or atleast the one they portrait in social media but that has nothing to do with what they do on the pitch and I have to keep telling myself that. That said, I'm old and bitter and most likely don't have a clue how important social media is today, apparently.I'm not about to tell people what they should think of Jesse & Marcus, good or bad. I just feel it's a pity that some United footballers get more criticism here than most rivals' players.
Commendably honest. We've had a miserable season, this was bound to happen. Many fans aren't just dissapointed but angry as well. Tbh I don't like their personalities, or atleast the one they portrait in social media but that has nothing to do with what they do on the pitch and I have to keep telling myself that. This. People who gave them stick for whatever they do off the pitch, how they dress and anything that isn't related to how they actually play should be fecking ashamed. Even on the pitch, they're 2 of our hardest working players. Rashford turned 21 this season while Lingard we all know is only squad player level. What's the point in giving him so much grief? People try to equate not being a world class player with just not caring or working hard enough which is the biggest load of shite ever.Yes. As you’re meant to be grateful for Lingard stopping and playing with some local lads after training. As you’re meant to be grateful (along with Mata) as being two of the players who do most for the United foundation. For Rashford going back to his prior school in sale after making it and holding sessions with at risk youths. For being two of the players who went to the hospital after the Ariana Grande bombings to work with the kids who have had their lives destroyed by the bombings.
They are local lads who give their all when playing for the shirt. Lingard has won us trophies and Rashford is our best attacking talent. The stick they get is disgraceful and you can speak about local lads with a lot more respect than most people show.
What makes you say that?
Wait, so it's ridiculous to criticise them for anything other than their footballing skill, and it's also ridiculous to criticise them for their footballing skill? So they are just immune to any criticism at all then?People can criticize them for not being world class footballers or not being quite good enough if they want, but personally think its ridiculous to criticize anything else. Both work very hard, both don't complain or cause any drama off the pitch, who gives a feck if they like to dress slightly different or like dancing or like using social media. Lingard especially only ever uses it in a very positive way and you know from his perspective, he's just a life long United supporter living the dream being a United player. They work hard on the pitch and in training, which is why they play regularly.
People are bang out of order to give them abuse like they have been. Never understood it but people love to abuse those who give their all but arent quite good enough, while those who have all the talent but only use it on occasion get a free pass. It's ridiculous really.
What on Earth.

Highlighted the stuff in your post about Lingard that have absolutely nothing to do with football itself. Nothing to do with training or playing (you know, the thing that any of us should actually care about?).Lingard is in his late twenties and hasn't done much in the game. Then he dresses like clown and comes across as an absolute moron. He stands for the mediocre times and represents everything that's wrong atm at United. He should be kicked out immediately, maybe Sunderland can find a couple of bucks. That's his level.
I am talking about the 0.012% post specifically. But, dressing like poundland Migos whilst performing as bad as they have been, they are bound to get abuse from people. They recently posted about a charity event and got loads of shit about being “tossers” for example. Would you rather them not post about charity occasions?

This. What a pair of tits. This is the root of the problem isn't it....they think they've 'made it'
Just being part of the '0.012' is enough for them...not interested in becoming part of the '0.0001' who actually win a PL/CL title
