People can criticize them for not being world class footballers or not being quite good enough if they want, but personally think its ridiculous to criticize anything else. Both work very hard, both don't complain or cause any drama off the pitch, who gives a feck if they like to dress slightly different or like dancing or like using social media. Lingard especially only ever uses it in a very positive way and you know from his perspective, he's just a life long United supporter living the dream being a United player. They work hard on the pitch and in training, which is why they play regularly.

I think that Paul Pogba is actually himself. Even young Pogba was about those weird haircuts, dancing and all those other things he does. Jesse Lingard became JLingz the fashion icon and social media influencer out of nowhere.

Probably would have kept him as a squad player and used him a decent amount, just like he used the likes of O'Shea, Park, Brown, Fletcher, Phil Neville, Cleverley, Darren Gibson, Anderson and so many others over the years as squad players. Players who work hard in training and give their all on the pitch, especially those who came through the youth academy, those who don't complain regardless of the role they have... Yeah, Fergie loved those and you know he would've loved Lingard as well.

We've had a miserable season, this was bound to happen. Many fans aren't just dissapointed but angry as well. Tbh I don't like their personalities, or atleast the one they portrait in social media but that has nothing to do with what they do on the pitch and I have to keep telling myself that. That said, I'm old and bitter and most likely don't have a clue how important social media is today, apparently.

Even on the pitch, they're 2 of our hardest working players. Rashford turned 21 this season while Lingard we all know is only squad player level. What's the point in giving him so much grief? I find it embarrassing that the club is represented by these clowns who get away with murder because they're 'local lads'. Yes they are clowns and their attitude suspect because who would respond to criticism by posting cryptic brain-dead messages? It shows a weakness in them. I wish they would show their talking on the pitch, but it seems like all they are good for is acting big on social media.
