I live in Liverpool and went to Anfield for the game. I hugged lots of random Liverpool fans who had no idea that I was dying inside me . I am a masochist it feels like
You're a bigger glutton for punishment for I am, that's for sure.

Did you consider not doing that? :houllier:
I did but frankly I had two options . To stay home & be miserable or to enjoy the game with a good atmosphere. I hate Liverpool with passion but I chose to get pissed in a good atmosphere

Didn't get the chance to, was busy stalking Kinsey Wolanski.

You can praise Liverpool all you want, just don't expect other United fans to do the same and say we need professional help for not doing so.
I'm not asking anyone to praise Liverpool. If your entire world is collapsing because of a f*cking football match... Then you need help. That is not being condescending. That's being a caring human being.

Good night everybody.

I think you're the one who's being overly dramatic here.

She has gone from 300k followers to 750k in less that three hours, I don't think I need to hype her up any more than that!

Not a classic but the you don't care if you win.

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Couldn't bare to watch Henderson lift the trophy though.

Taking it a bit far. I will shortly go back to not giving a shit but I still won't praise them. My world isn't collapsing because of it, it's just shit that they're so much better than us right now. It's natural to not want to praise your biggest rivals moments after they take their CL tally to twice ours. You go ahead and praise them, I don't care. Just don't say that I'm fecked in the head for being upset about a rival doing really well.

@Damien, where do you live? I'm asking cause if the fireworks.

In situations like this I'm glad I don't live in England and hardly now a scouser.

Look I'd be thrilled if England won anything but to come onto a United forum (with many many Irish and Scottish United fans) and tell people that they should be happy is the very definition of wumming. You know that you couldn't do the same with Corinthians and Sao Paolo fans, for example.
My team isn't one of them. I couldn't care less.
By the way, some people delight so much to watch a great squad's performance that they set their differences aside and just appreciate the spectacle. Of course, it's much better when our own teams are the responsible for that but, if not, we are still blessed to take delight in witnessing this moment as a football fan.

You're just wumming at this point. Go post on a Liverpool forum instead of gloating on here.

I live in Liverpool and there have been a few fireworks and noticed a lot of hooligans who are a bit drunk but nothing major

Weakest Champions League ever
Worst final since 2005
Worst final ever

Am I doing this right??
Close enough.

Next time try directing a derogatory comment at Liverpool players/staff/associates, either individually or collectively, it's all basically the same thing.

Oh, and mention luck. And diving. And shell suits.

Yeah.

You're either the most naive person I've ever encountered or a very lazy WUM.

A true football fan wouldn't be blessed to watch that dog shit final.

Really bizzare fights among United fans in this thread . Should be asking questions of the owner and CEO about why we are so far behind both these teams rather than mocking each other for being smaller fans

I expect a chaos till morning and looting.
Maybe but I have come across so many great Liverpool fans across the last few months and I am happy for them . As long as it's just a little celebration notn causing much harm it's ok

I was at Anfield and it was pretty bad for the 1 mile outside the stadium. Pretty alright otherwise

Why wumming? Can't you see the difference between a football fan or something who is provoking?

Besides, I'd think the same if Manchester United were in Liverpool's place. I'm not even a Liverpool's supporter, I just like good football.

Just to put things in perspective, during the game I got news about a business friend passing away. It was shocking because just 3 months ago he was in a meeting with us, full of energy and very charismatic. And now this 45 year old, at the peak of his career has passed away leaving behind a wife and young kids. So in comparison, Liverpool being gifted their 6th European cup is just not as bad as it seems.

It would been much much harder to take if we were actually competing with them in the league or lost against them in the final! Because we are so crap, it doesn't even bother me. Just shut everything down till July and not go on social media for the next couple of days is my motto! I actually congratulated my liverpool supporters work mates after the game, cause one thing I know about that vermin, they like you to bite, and take great pleasure from it!

Then you wouldn't celebrate that travesty of a football match.

Goodbye.

Then we'd have endless debates on what's worse, a City quadruple or Liverpool making it 6.

(It's a City quadruple of course)
Yes, City quad would have been worse. Christ what a load of absolute shit football is now for United fans. City and Liverpool dominating everything.

This was a pretty shitty football match, though, even without even counting for results.
