I feel for him. He is being made an absolute scapegoat for it. The parents saying he should be held accountable are unreasonable. Would they have cared for his family had he died in line of fire?. Accountability rests with the shooter, NRA and the fecking stupid amendment and nothing else.
It’s a tough spot to be in. I feel for the guy, but at the same time, to be in that position assumes the responsibility to have to act should a worst case scenario happen. Him not acting means even more families lost someone than if he did act.I feel for him. He is being made an absolute scapegoat for it. Very true, he is human after all. My take is this, if you are trained for a job that requires you to carry a lethal weapon at all times and you think you have the balls for it an incident like this should cause no hesitation. Wrong man for the wrong job unfortunately, very common in our society.Losing his job should have sufficed.
The cold hard truth is we are selfish creatures and our self preservation instincts kick in in those situations. It’s very easy to say he should have done this or that but then again it’s not our asses on the line.

Feel free to post them.Showing only blacks been killed or arrested by police? About the other races? ...
You might be able to tell his Hispanics from blacks by their name, but you definitely can't look at a name and say "that person is white, not black".209 Unknown (but for the names mostly are Hispanics or whites)
Mate, if you've got the info and vids then just post them, this thread is for all police injustices.Showing only blacks been killed or arrested by police? About the other races? Media is really a very dangerous tool in the 21 century.
2019 so far:
From Washington Post
394 people killed by police
84 Whites (no Hispanics)
49 Blacks
44 Hispanics
8 Other (Asians, etc)
209 Unknown (but for the names mostly are Hispanics or whites)
From Fox news
44 Police officers killed in the line of duty
That's the reason so many people gets killed by police, too many officers killed so they over-react and in some cases criminally when they engage someone.
yeah plenty of white people have the last name black and black people have the last name white. now if you've got some skulls on the other hands...Also just to add, you can't tell shit about skin colour from a name alone.
That's not really better, that's mostly the same. The only difference is that we now get to hear the guy who got punched saying "or what?!" repeatedly. What did people think he was doing there? Discussing Game of Thrones? He was clearly mouthing off, and while that might justify trying to control the situation, it doesn't justify punching him after pushing him away, and without him making any aggressive moves in response (except saying "don't touch me, man").Different camera footage of the incident from @Eboue post above, and a conversation between the two involved af the end.
I never said it was better or worse, I was just adding an updated video with the rest of the footage currently available. That's not really better, that's mostly the same. Yeah I realized, that's why I edited it to not imply you were defending him.I never said it was better or worse, I was just adding an updated video with the rest of the footage currently available.
The situation was managed poorly, but you really think it was just by coincidence that the start of that video was cut? Officers are responding to reports of shots fired and the dude runs across the street, fists clenched, and starts barking in the coppers face, completely unprovoked. Who the feck does that in a situation so evidently tense? The copper reacted spectacularly bad and I hope he gets reprimanded for it. Still, the video was made to look as though the copper just fancied a swing on a poor innocent man.The bodycam footage doesnt make it any better. I'm confused how you think it does.
Was it cut or did the bystander just start filming then? Either way it doesnt matter because that's not the point I'm making. The police used unnecessary aggression and poor situation handling in the first video and the videos skizzo posted dont in any way change that fact. The situation was managed poorly, but you really think it was just by coincidence that the start of that video was cut? Still waiting for your comments on why you think it’s alright to make the comments you did on previous pages.Still waiting for your comment about 20% of your coworkers being outed as racists.
No worriesYeah I realized, that's why I edited it to not imply you were defending him.
I don't know what comments you are referring to or why they are relevant to the article I posted but ok guy.Where did I say it made it better?

Ok fellaI don't know what comments you are referring to or why they are relevant to the article I posted but ok guy.
Black Hispanics are also a thing, and you generally can't tell them apart from white Hispanics based on name. You might be able to tell his Hispanics from blacks by their name, but you definitely can't look at a name and say "that person is white, not black".
Just keep clocking in every day surrounded by violent racists.Ok fella
20% wouldn’t really cause me to be surrounded.Just keep clocking in every day surrounded by violent racists.
He didn't say it did, but it didn't stop your usual, passive aggressive bullshit. You and I both know it was cut, but let's pretend it wasn't, hey?Was it cut or did the bystander just start filming then? Either way it doesnt matter because that's not the point I'm making. The police used unnecessary aggression and poor situation handling in the first video and the videos skizzo posted dont in any way change that fact.
I dont know if it was cut. Maybe the person only started filming when they realized this was become a big deal. But again i dont care and even if it had been, it would change the clear fact of yet another case of police brutality. Weird for you to become so focused on whether or not it was cut when you also has nothing to say over the investigation that revealed 20% of police officers to be violent racists. He didn't say it did, but it didn't stop your usual, passive aggressive bullshit. You and I both know it was cut, but let's pretend it wasn't, hey?
