Not sure he would want us. A diva he may be but winning trophies would be high up on his agenda, not battling with Watford and Wolves to finish 6th.
I'm not sure that we would be fighting for 6th if he was here ....

Now they've signed Hazard I can't see them signing Neymar.
After July 1st, Madrid can spend another €100m PLUS whatever they get back in sales and still be compliant with FFP. Some have alluded to them wanting to get Pogba done before then so that the next FFP window can be devoted to Mbappe or Neymar.

Where would he fit in though?

They've just splashed out on Hazard and Jovic. Plus they have Vinicius, Bale, Asensio, Isco, Brahim Diaz and Benzema vying for the forward slots.

PSG prepared to let Neymar go this summer.
Bilel Ghazi works l'EQUIPE, therefore he has absolutely no credibility.

There journalists are banned from PSG's press conferences but pretend they have news about what's going on in Doha...

I don't know. It's Perez in a rebuilding year. Seems like the type of thing they'll worry about later.

I worry that we will end up outsmarting ourself here.

If we sell Pogba and Lukaku quickly, for £130 mill and £60 mill, we will be able to compete for some of the top talents.

If we hold out for £150 mill and £80 mill there will be fewer options left and we will likely end up overspending on someone who would not have been our first choice initially.
We should get at least the amount countinho went for, otherwise no point.

Florentino's dick just exploded

We're gonna spend the rest of the window chasing neymar now :(:(:( and after we just signed his poor man's version(for a very relative definition of poor man's)
Hazard?

Tbh I think Eden is better by quite a margin.

I don´t think that Zidane wants him in the club, but above all, he doesn´t want to play here.

I'd take those prices too.

1) They seem to want out so pointless keeping 2) don't rate Lukaku and I'd be happy with 50m/60m 3) would hopefully boost our transfer kitty. I dont mind paying a little over the odds to get the players we want so should hopefully ease some purchases. But 80m for Maguire or 70m for Wan Bissaka.... nah, walk away.

How can Hazard be better than Neymar? Neymar is completely on a different level to Hazard. If Real Madrid knew Neymar transfer is possible, they would prefer him over Hazard.

Hazard has been whoring himself for Real Madrid for years and Neymar doesn't because he know there'd be more club who would be after him and he doesn't need Real Madrid for his careers.

I don't want him now. Feck it, if PSG won't stand for diva behaviour and will sell players like that we should just tell Mbappé to go on TV dressed and talking like conor mcgregor :drool::drool:

Why is there no talk of Skriniar if they are so keen to do a swap?
I’f forgotten about this FM legend myself!!!

Absolute no brainier if [I haven’t watched him this season] his form has maintained.

Honestly shows the state we are in when we’re not pursuing & offloading in such a fashion.

People are slating Pogba for being a diva and yet some of you would be up for buying Neymar?

Hazard is a model pro, his only problem is his inconsistency but at least he won't pretend to be injured so he can go to a birthday party in the middle of the season.

Sportsmail understands the France midfielder’s comments have not gone down well at United, who will not sell him unless they receive an astronomical offer.
A source explained: ‘It is safe to say that they are distinctly unimpressed with it, but as far as they’re concerned Pogba will be at the club next season.’

Neymar's attitude skews people's views on him, both 100% fit Neymar is a better player than Hazard hands down.
Yeah, his image suffered a lot from the diving or tabloid aspect of his life but he still is a phenomenal player. The thing is, people are constantly talking about his diva behaviour but in 2 years, not once did he, nor his dad, tell a single bad thing about the club. There's a huge stretch between his injury and his alleged nightlife but truth being told, there's not a single picture of him in a nightclub, nor any rumor of him not being professional in training.

On this other hand, Hazard is famous for not training hard, he even admits it himself.

It's a VERY classic Real Madrid move. They don't want to pay big transfer fees so they ask players to strong-arm their club. Man Utd need to be strong and ask for as much money as they can.

Its an absolute prickish move from him.

Any negotiations the club are in for players will immediately be impacted, with the selling clubs/agents thinking "woah,, so you're about to have a lot more money, and much bigger need?"

There is a simple response to this, how much did ye pay for hazard who only had 1 year left on his contract we’ll throw 50 on that and we might have a deal, the team that has his contract will always have the power.

It really annoys me. In work life outside football/sports, this would be considered illoyal, and you could probably even sue the employee for potential loss of immaterial value. However that is not an option in football. Imagine a court ruling against Pogba, voiding his salary for a few months , and also deeming him liable for a loss of transfer fee, lets say 150 million. Would stop this, honestly, unprofessional and self-serving behaviour. Players have a contract to adhere to. If you want to leave, let your club know and expect them to facilitate a solution that works for everyone.

Something makes me believe we need a total revamp of the contract system in football. Like, all players can buy themselves out of a contract for the leftover value in their previous transfer. For instance. Player A bought for 100mill on a 5 year contract. after 4 years he can buy himself out for 20 mill.
That would probably be fine, if it wasnt for the wildly fluctuating values of players, and this would likely put smaller clubs at a disadvantage as player B bought from a tiny club at age 21 is a phenomenon and suddenly ten times the player. They would never get compensated for the risk they originally took...

I`m realising this is derailing. Disregard, just needed to vent :P

Why anyone is surprised is beyond me. Fergie sniffed out what Pogb was like years ago.

imo its Madrid laying the groundwork for a transfer next summer.. They have spent plenty this summer.. They'll talk about it for a year... he'll stink the place out. They'll bid 100m.
