Then this should cheer you up. Spoofex has returned with an update, apparently his source has tripled down on the fact that we are getting De Ligt and the deal will be completed this week, not announced but completed between the club and the player. Also we will wrap up AWB and Fernandes soon.
he means it'll be the third time it'll be done on "Wednesday"

Couldn't have done it before the U21's? If we seriously can't get deals done more than one at a time, that is awful.
He went on holiday before, then had a tournament.. when would there be time?

He can link up with us now, do a medical and get training. Perfect timing (apart from for the transfer fans ofc)

I can understand why United for the U21 to finish first, imagine you pay all that money and he goes and does his ACL. It was always going to be a waiting game plus how many times do players get transferred during a competition. I can't ever remember someone doing business mid world cup or euros.

Honestly not even too fussed at this point. Always looked obvious that we would eventually get this done at a massive price, it also unfortunately looks like we'll struggle to do anything past this (and at that point, not sure Wan Bissaka will change much on his own given his weaknesses).

Pickford during the previous U21 Euros.

Why does it look like we’ll struggle to get any more deals done, there’s loads of time to get deals done. At least 6-7 weeks if i remember correctly.

Yes OGS wanted them all done before pre-season but that doesn’t mean that we wont get any more done before the window closes.

I haven’t seen any reason why we wont sign anyone else.

No one else in the top 6, apart from us, I’ve seen actually sign anyone yet

If I was part of the CPR negotiation group, I would have absolutely waited until the tournament has ended. They could have used his perofmances to push the price up or justify the higher fee demanded.

Because we literally need 5 starting 11 players in and need to sell a good chunk of player yet we're struggling to do any of that. I'll be shocked if we sign more than 3 players to be honest, and that doesnt count as a good window. A proper rebuild addressing our issues is a good window. Addressing 1 or 2 of the 5 would a bit shit. I'd love it if we do have a good window, but all the reports are on the contrary at the moment.

I say right... we'll see if Simon and him are right if we announce today.

AWB today you say? Not likely. Simon Stone just tweeted that AWB talks still going on between us and Palace. ITKs have struck again

He looks like a 10 year old
About what I expected for some of these ITKs. Explains why they're so full of belief in their information and also so wrong. Can you imagine:

- 10 year old United fan asks the merechandiser at the club store who we're signing
- with only the intention of filling this kids heart with joy, hope and excitement the employee (an adult) quotes Indykalia
- kid takes it straight home to share with his friends on Reddit and gain some digital status

By people's attitudes towards these guys, you'd think that every single club is water tight and NO information gets out.

Why are we so quick to write off Man Utd signing people but at the same time so quick to believe it when our players are supposedly on the way out?

I'd say 3 signings would be a good window. We won't be able to change the whole squad in one window that's dreamland that is. Can't even count teams like Madrid and Barca when money is just being poured into the club like a kid in a candy shop

3 signings really wouldn’t be a good window, realistically we need about 5 players. James is unlikely to be a starter and seems more a signing for squad depth, Wan-Bissaka is a good start but we still have holes in RW, CB and CM (also striker if we let Lukaku go).

Our window will be on a par with last year I believe, although we now don't have Fellaini or Herrera to call upon this season so I think squad depth wise we will be worse and very defender heavy.

I’m pretty happy if it happens, the price is too much but rb has been a problem for years. Arguably every year post fergie.

Not that I'm a believer, but in my opinion journalists aren't much more credible.
