You're speaking bollocks based on pure conjecture.
Pure conjecture? Of course!
But saying that this does not say anything about Westbrook is pure conjecture as well!

Are you here to actually discuss or throw around superlatives that make you feel big.

Conjecture? Bollocks?

Westbrook isn’t the athlete he was, that’s a fact - it’s unfortunately the side effects of age & multiple surgeries.

2 players in their primes have left his team to play with other stars? again, a fact.

He shot 42% from the field & 29% from 3 this season. [see, ‘talents fading, 100mph], below is a mid season piece from The Ringer, I cba to find more pieces but his ability is fading but i guess that’s conjecture.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....18167155/russell-westbrook-shooting-struggles

I then finish saying he’ll “likely” be unfairly scapegoated.

Anyway, we’re done here. If you don’t agree with me that’s fine, in fact I enjoy that but don’t act the big boy on a forum cause someone disagrees with you.

I’m not going back & forth with you, your ‘post’ is an idiot.

I agree look....once is an accident two is a pattern and three well....

Westbrook is an amazing athlete but other stars know they simply cant win with him KD knew it and PG13 knew it.

Westbrook is good enough to be the 3rd best player on a championship team but not the first or second IMO.

Maybe its time he leaves OKC. It is not possible but he would fit like a glove in the Lakers.

See my rebuttal.

I agree with you btw.

We’re ‘fans’ of different sports on a forum discussing varying points. The whole basis of what we do is to speculate based on our opinions etc.

The guy, or should I say his post in this thread, is quite simply a fool.

I made some statements & instead of engaging he has abit of a rage at his keyboard & uses a word he believes he knows the meaning of.

Westbrook has always divided opinions though.

So are GSW, Clippers and Lakers all going to face off in Western Conference - sorry noob question..
Yep, have to go through each other on the way to the final. Nuggets, Rockets, even Jazz will be good too imo.

And then East isn't half bad either - 76ers, Bucks, Nets

Blazers. No reason to have Nuggets and Jazz in there but no Blazers.

Apparently you can’t have this opinion in here.

You’re speculating he could be the 3rd best player; don’t do that or someone will quote your post & reply with a sentence that doesn’t actually address any of your points.

That is such crap. We were 2 minutes away from beating the 73 win Warriors. Injuries ruined every other post-season run basically. Of course you could win with Westbrook.

I'm the most ardent Westbrook defender there is on this site and while I disagree slightly with your views, I also agree in other instances. You're more than welcome to have your view though. It's fair.

That’s all I ask for, discussion.

I like Westbrook as it goes I just think his flaws are now outweighing his strengths.

Where next for OKC then? Can you build a winner with Westbrook?

I think it does.

He chose OKC last season, then asks for a trade a year later; leaving one star for another.

Also, what do you expect PG to say on twitter. ‘I hate playing with Westbrook’.

I wasn’t on about Westbrook as a teammate - I think this speaks volumes in regards to his play style & the enjoyment [or lack of] playing in a system with him.

Westbrook’s talents are fading & he still tries to go 100mph for 48mins. His outside shooting this season was horrific & his star is diminishing.

Everyone speaks well of Westbrook as a man but multiple ‘stars’ have now left him.

I agree though, the narrative will likely be about Westbrook’s character which doesn’t seem fair.
He got his max añd his wish to go back home. It's down on the management and it's not Westbrook's fault.

I think you can but it's getting harder and harder because he's declining and the Thunder have been locked into the tax. The best bet is to rebuild and trade Russ.

This is an incredible indictment of the OKC management and Westbrook and also the greater Oklahoma City area and frankly the entire state. Does anyone want to be there? People seem to always be falling over themselves to get the hell out of there.
If you've visited Oklahoma you'd know why. It's a shithole state with fecked up politics, constant construction, ridiculous weather, and on and on. The best bit about driving through the state is it does not take very long to leave the state in either direction.

My thoughts exactly.

I think Miami would be a trade partner for Westbrook but it’ll be a who blinks first type of deal.

Listened to the Ringer podcast earlier & they were saying there’s more sellers than buyers now so a good deal may be hard to find for Westbrook.

You’ve done well to rinse the Clippers for PG though so maybe you just go back into Russ does everything mode & try to trade Steven Adams for parts.

Damn, I've never been myself but maybe that does explain it. Hard to understand why the ownership would move there from Seattle.

If you are Westbrook do you look for a way out over the next 12 months?

What possible destinations can offer a package to entice OKC management?
If I'm Westbrook, I'm demanding a trade just like PG did. Let the ownership figure out the package. Why should he stay? They obviously aren't interested in winning now. They arent going to get back a player of the same caliber so why should he stay? Stay to do what? Not make the playoffs or get bounced in Round 1 again and have the entire world blame him? He should demand a trade.

So apparently OKC tried to send Russ and George to Toronto for a deal involving Siakam and picks and Ujiri said no. If that's true, that is insane and a fireable offense from Ujiri championship or not.

I think the guy that bought Seattle was from Oklahoma, and went against what he stated initially after buying the club (would not relocate the club).
Yh that was insane. Took them to a smaller market where people don't want to play and then traded away Harden because of not wanting to pay the luxury tax.

Why would OKC want to strengthen the Heats when they've the Heats picks?

Nah I just know bullshit when I see it.

Westbrook is ageing. That has nothing to do with you projecting your talk show level idiocy and ignorance on an otherwise normal transfer of an LA native to a local team.

Don't chat shit on here and expect for it to go unchallenged. Better yet, stop posting hot takes worthy of Colin Cowherd. Now run along, there's a good boy.

Pure conjecture? Of course!
But saying that this does not say anything about Westbrook is pure conjecture as well!
It's not pure conjecture. It's the default position, common sense until more concrete information comes along.

Your point hinges on the idea that KD left because of Russ. Disproven by the fact that when both players were healthy and in their primes, OKC made a finals once, and were up 3-1 on the Warriors, a lead squandered primarily by KD's bad play in G5 and G6. To now flip that and insinuate it's Westbrook's fault is bollocks. Who do I blame for KD's move to Brooklyn? Is it Steph or Draymond?

Once that's thrown out the window, all we have here is PG leaving OKC for his hometown. Stars move teams all the time. It doesn't make sense to me to use this as an indictment on Westbrook.

But there wasn't any need for you to jump in and defend Stephen A's surrogate on here. It was a stupid point. One which PG didn't have to push back against on Twitter, but did.

So I guess PG wasn't quite homesick enough to go back home last offseason.

You still here.

Yet again, no discussion just rhetoric worthy of Max Kellerman [seeing as we’re doing whatever this is].

Again. As you’re hard of ‘reading’. I’m not bothered you don’t agree with my opinion, either debate it or move on cause the way you’re getting emotional isn’t changing anything, it’s wasting your time.

You need to chill, “Don’t chat shit on here & expect it to go unchallenged” - sorry Nelson didn’t realise I was in a playground.

“Talk show level idiocy”, when you’ve jumped on the forum seen my post & gone full blown Jerry Springer - you’re not actually discussing my points, just yelling & swearing but yes, I’m the ‘Cowherd’.

Your ‘post’ is an idiot. Leave me off the stage. We don’t have to conversate.

Imagine responding to someone’s post then when they do the same telling them to run along :houllier:

So my question is why are the lakers so hated on here? Is it the same thing as United having always been among the most hated clubs in football just because they are rich, dominated big eras of the league and are a big sports brand in the world?
Yes, Lakers are hated similar to the way United are. Victims of their own success. Yankees are that team in baseball and if I had to pick one in the NFL, it’d be the Cowboys.

Lakers signing anyone to 2 year deals. Who are we going to go after (and fail to get) in 2 years?

Well that is just a flat out lie...it’s a rather large state so it takes awhile to get across.

On OKC though: meh. I’m an Okie and I wouldn’t want to live there. It also hurts OU recruiting because Norman was never a great college town and OKC wasn’t enough to make up for it, even after they built up Bricktown.

Bullshit.

Raps back to irrelevancy.

I thought Kawhi wasnt about super teams.

I hope both LA teams fail miserably.

feck superteams. Raptors won the organic way.

our only hope is Giannis but that probably wont happen.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

feck this.

Why? He won a ring and knows how to do so again. He'll build the team around Siakam and hopefully Giannis.

Nice story about Kawhi recruiting firsts Durant and then PG. Seems like board man is quite a good recruiter.
