With Harry in. Opportunities will be limited. It's obvious someone will need to leave.

Ideally all of them bar Maguire and Lindelof but that is not practical so any of Jones/Smalling/Rojo/Bailly will do. None of them are good enough.

Best guess: no one.

If I had to guess one probably Rojo. Though we might take the path of least resistance and reloan Tuanzebe.

I am afraid that given the length of their contracts it will be very difficult to sell Jones, Smalling and Rojo at reasonable prices. Bailly is injures until December so he is not leaving. Unfortunately that leave Tuanzebe as the most realistic option to loan out for a season. I really hope Tuanzebe would get more playing time this season but with 7 CBs in the team I don’t see it happen

Probably only Smalling as he's the only one of the average bunch who might be interesting for any other teams.

Bailly or an outside shot or either Jones or Smalling. Rojo won't leave, even after his contract has expired he'll be hanging around and burning toast.

I am guessing Rojo too! Mainly because he is a LCB and Harry's got this position sewn up.

Personally can’t see none of them leaving before the window shuts this Thursday. Only player I can see leaving is Lukaku.

Rojo, he's had the pre-season minutes so he will be fit enough for someone to use straight away.

None, if they sell someone, it will be after PL deadline closes and hide behind it.

Rojo most likely, if anybody, as he must be at the bottom of the list for minutes now. Bailly will be here now for the season since the injury. Jones and Smalling have not long since signed long term contracts and there seems to be no interest in them anyway. Tuanzebe might have to be loaned again considering all this, though I would prefer him to be first backup for Lindelof and Maguire.

Smalling, he's barely played for much of the pre-season and he's the only one of the lot who has any value. There were reports that Brucey was looking for a center back and United are interested in Longstaff.

It won't be "Jonah" as Ole and the staff love him for the 8 games he's fit, and Bailly is injured so I doubt we'll be able to sell him. It'll probably be no one but if we do sell one it'll be either Rojo or Smalling.

I'd be delighted if Smalling or Jones left.
I'd be happy if Rojo left.
I'd be ok if Bailly left.

Only Lindelof has shown he is good enough. Tuanzebe gets a free pass because of his age.

Tuanzebe on loan at maximum

Woody is not good enough to get rid of players (but he sold Blind for 12 million, and then he became the CB of the season in the last champions league)

We should just keep Maguire Lindelof Tuanzebe and smalling, offload the other if possible. Bailly will be a problem because of injuries, Jones depends on his wage demands, Rojo should easily find a club like darmian, we jsut need to take a bit of a hit on the transfer fee

Could be any of them just so long as they are prepared to play in China or Championship level. Either way they won't get paid what they are now so basically no chance.

Keep Lindelöf, Maguire, Tuanzebe and Jones, get rid of the rest.

Keeping Jones over Smalling just because he'll be harder to sell with his injury record, also think he's better for Ole's system, when fit.

looks like Smalling is being pushed out - no minutes at all in last 2 preseason matches

No-one.

In an ideal world Jones and Rojo would've gone but for some reason we decided to extend Jones's deal.

Rojo maybe

Axel is one of our 3 centrebacks and should not be loaned out under any circumstance.

Bailly's not going anywhere with his injury. Marcos Rojo has just come back from a long-term injury, can't see clubs taking a gamble when he hasn't proved his fitness. Likewise Jones. So Smalling is the only candidate to leave really, and I don't think we can incase of injuries to Maguire or Lindelof.

Tuanzebe should be kept rather than loaned out to Villa.

Just sell any two out of the trio of Smalling, Jones and Rojo. It doesn’t matter who of them goes and who stays

Of our current lot:
  • Lindelof and Maguire are good enough to play for the club.
  • Tuanzebe is a promising back up who should make it at the club.
  • Fosu-Mensah is a promising back up who likely won't make it at the club.
  • Rojo, Bailly, Jones and Smalling aren't good enough to play for the club.
  • Fosu-Mensah and Bailly currently have significant injuries.
  • Rojo, Bailly, Jones and Fosu-Mensah have poor injury records.
From that, it makes sense to:
  • Keep Lindelof, Maguire and Tuanzebe long term
  • Keep Smalling for the short term
  • Look to sell or release Rojo and Jones immediately.
  • Look to sell Fosu-Mensah and Bailly when they are fit enough to sell.

Smalling is the obvious one. There will be more suitors than for Rojo or Jones. Also, Jones seems relatively happy being a squad player and in that respect he is actually good to have.

Rojo, rubbish as he is, can also fill in for Luke Shaw when necessary if Darmian leaves.

OGS likes his players hardworking.
If there's one thing, u can't blame Jones for, it's working hard.

Smalling will go imo. Easiest player to sell as there is bound to be some interest. Both Everton and Leicester are looking for CBs and both have cash.

Wouldn't put it past this club for it to end up being Tuanzebe on a permanent move for a cheap price

Got a feeling that Rojo will go & Jones will be loaned.

Smelling & Tuanzebe as backup CBs will be fine.

Edit: Forgot about Bailly. He’ll go nowhere due to the injury. Maybe loaned out in January?

Squad is the same size as last year (Valencia, Herrera, and Fellaini out; Wan Bisaka, Maguire and James in). 3 in, 3 out. No reason to include Bailly in the squad for 2019 because his injury will probably take 5 months to recover from. Darmian, Rojo and Matic contracts end next summer. A loan for Darmian or Rojo makes no sense. United can only sell players if other clubs ask for them. Even if you add Tuanzebe to players in, you should remove Bailly for the next 5 months.

Can't sell Bailly because he is injured for a long time and Tuanzebe deserves to be part of the squad IMO. I don't rate Smalling at all for the way we want to be playing, but he is reliable to stay fit and in the right games he can put a good performance. So by default, sell Rojo and Jones; though i doubt there is a lot of interest in them.

Maguire, Lindelof, Smalling and Tuanzebe (and injured Bailly) is a good mix i think.

I want Tuanzebe to get a shot to prove himself at this level.

Plus we need one or two for cover but I am easy one who exactly that is from out leftovers.
